Model praised for amazing unretouched magazine photo
With Photoshop now such an accepted norm in fashion circles, this is truly refreshing to see.
An unretouched image of a 47-year-old Cindy Crawford posing in her underwear has gone viral on Twitter, receiving high praise from social media users.
The image, which originally appeared in the December 2013 issue of Marie Claire magazine’s Mexico/ Latin America issue, was initially shared by ITV news anchor Charlene White.
Sharing the post to her Twitter page, White wrote: “Cindy Crawford’s April spread in Marie Claire features 100% non-retouched photos. Take a bow Ms. C.”
Despite the fact that the image is two years old, its recent resurrection has struck a major chord with the public.
One Twitter user wrote: “This is why #CindyCrawford holds the #SUPERMODEL title! The untouched photo is inspiring women everywhere.”

While Cindy has yet to comment on the attention her photo has been grabbing on social media around the world, we’ll go out on a limb and say she’s feeling proud.
