Back in our parents’ day, tying the knot or exchanging house keys was considered the most major of relationship milestones, but us millennials have a very different take on the sitch.

Getting snap-happy with your other half is par for the course for most of us, but the real test of a relationship is how long you WAIT before actually sharing those super-adorbs photos online.

According to stats released by Canon Ireland, 30% of Irish couples wait a full YEAR before sharing their first snap online while just over half take the plunge within the first three months of their relationship.

And if a snap acts as a barometer of how serious you guys really are, it’s probably no surprise that 40% of us admit to deleting photos from social media once our relationship comes to an end.

And if that seems a bit much, a whopping 36% of us have revealed that we have DESTROYED all pics of the ex after that final blow-out row.
