Nicole Scherzinger opens up about her split from Lewis Hamilton

Nicole Scherzinger has opened up about her split from Lewis Hamilton. 

The couple split last year, and having now reunited, Nicole has opened up about the break-up for the first time. 

The former X Factor judge told The Sun: "I went to a very dark place. It was a hard time in my life. Everybody out there struggles with issues and times – loneliness and looking for love. I was trying to figure all that out."

The singer also said that she is in a good place with Lewis: "We're good now. We're taking it one day at a time. It's a relationship I really care about."
