Leigh Arnold gave birth to a baby girl and she has a VERY cute name
Irish actress and blogger Leigh Arnold made a very special announcement on social media this week.
The former Clinic star and Celebrity Salon contestant announced in a post on her blog leigharnold.ie that she and husband Steve Davies had welcomed their second child into the world.
She wrote on the site:
“On Thursday 17th September we welcomed our beautiful daughter Piper Rose Davies to the world. She was born at 11.30am weighing 8lb 1oz.
Mummy and baby girl are both doing great and Big brother Hunter is over the moon.”
The 35-year old married Steve in 2014 and during her pregnancy discussed her thoughts on naming her little girl.
“Any name I have come up with has either been met with a ‘You can’t do that to the poor child’ from my mum or ‘Can’t you just find something normal like Jack or Charlotte’ from my dad.”
She said the couple would decide on the name for their daughter when they met her and said they don’t mind being “even more hippy” and deciding on a name “we believe they want.”
Leigh is currently writing a book based on her life experiences which will include the loss of her and Steve’s second son Flynn in 2013. At the time she told VIP magazine:
“I started a while back, just writing thoughts down again for a healing purposes, and it just started going places.”
The couple lost Flynn tragically to cot death and she said at the time “you realise what matters and who matters in life.”
