Paris Hilton fears she is a target following recent terrorist attacks
With the sheer number of terrorists attacks being carried out across the world in recent weeks, we doubt there's many people who haven't considered the potential implications of foreign travel or reflected on the possible ramifications of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
And with countless high-profile individuals taking to social media to express their grief over the recent attacks in France and Germany, Paris Hilton has also decided to offer her perspective on current global events.
"I’m constantly moving around from one country to another and I’m a famous person who could be a definite target for an attack and that is something that sometimes terrifies me," she told Ibiza island daily newspaper Diario de Ibiza.
Fearful that her global profile may make her more vulnerable to attack, the socialite turned DJ continued: "But I’m also a very free person who tries not to be afraid of anything. I just make sure I always watch my back."
"I always go out alone and without security," she added. "Many celebs have ten bodyguards but I like to go out with my friends and be normal because I want to be like everyone else."
Removing herself from the equation for a moment, the former reality took the opportunity to consider the people who have actually fallen victim to attacks, saying: "What’s happening is horrible. The recent attacks in Nice and Germany are terrible."
Like countless others, Paris insists the recent events have given her pause for thought, telling the newspaper: "It’s something that disgusts and worries me. I travel a lot and I get frightened when I think about things like this."
Paris, who turned 35-years-old in February, is currently living it up in Ibiza and sharing snaps of the lifestyle with fans on Instagram.
