Rihanna is being threatened by alleged stalker on Twitter
Rihanna has become the victim of another alleged stalker only a year after a previous stalker had been arrested.
The 27-year old Umbrella singer has been the victim of threatening messages on social media. The man had even posted a photograph of a gun and bullets.
On April 30 the alleged stalker posted a selfie outside Riri’s home but when police arrived to the location he had left. Reports from TMZ have said that the user account from where the tweets were sent is registered under two separate names.
The police in the U.S are now tracking the suspect electronically. While the selfies outside her home are not the most pleasant, the other messages he wrote are far more disturbing.
In a tweet the man, named as Alex Mercer, wrote “Should of killed @rihanna a minute back I would be good right now. Sorcery is a weapon I use guns, bout to get a gun licence, can’t use my hands.”
In early June he posted a message saying “Imma marry @rihanna Lord willing s#omebody might die or something.”
Gossip Cop reports that some of the messages, which included Bible verses, were sent to Rihanna’s ex-boyfriend Chris Brown as well as the singer herself.
Some of the man’s tweets refer to her as his “baby momma” and others even refer to the singer’s young niece: “@rihanna tell majesty that her step uncle said happy birthday.”
His Twitter account was suspended but he appears to be using an alias in order to continue to bombard the star with messages. He even directed one to Jay-Z, whose record label Rihanna is signed with: “@S_C_ tell them in not a stalker you know me other page got suspended.”
Early in June a man was reportedly arrested after attempting to gain entry to Rihanna’s New York apartment building but was stopped by her bodyguard.
This is not the first time Riri has had to deal with situations involving trespassers and stalkers. This time last year a 53-year old man was arrested after he was hand-delivering unsettling messages to Rihanna’s Soho apartment.
