Rihanna just made the most heartbreaking admission

She is one of the most powerful figures in the music world, but Rihanna has shown herself to be just as vulnerable as the rest of us when it comes to matters of the heart.

Indeed, the Only Girl In The World star made a rather heartbreaking admission during an interview with Time magazine this week.

With the 27-year-old lending her voice to one of the main characters in new animated movie Home, she was asked to name her favourite cartoon film from when she was growing up.

As a total classic, her choice of Disney's Beauty and the Beast is not surprising; however, her explanation carried a much darker insight into her choice.

"I fell in love with the Beast. Pretty much my dating record so far," Rihanna told the interviewer.

While she refused to expand on her comment, or give the name of whom she may have been referring to, many have put two and two together and linked her words to her turbulent relationship with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

Her comments came on the same day that a judge closed the case against Brown for his assault of Rihanna back in 2009.
