Rory who? Caroline Wozniacki has a new man on the scene
Since her highly publicised break-up from Rory McIlroy last May, Caroline Wozniacki has been relatively quiet on the dating scene… until now.
The tennis pro was left heartbroken when Rory called their engagement off over the phone last summer, just days after wedding invitations had been sent out. Although Northern Irish golfing star Rory has been linked to a string of models since the split, Caroline has been content to wait for the right person to come along, and it seems she didn't have to wait too long.
Fans first spotted Caroline with NFL player JJ Watt at an American football game back in April. Neither of the pair have yet to officially confirm the relationship, but given their recent joint vacations to Florida and Paris in recent weeks, it seems pretty official to us.
Speaking earlier this year about her shock split from Rory, Caroline said she struggled hugely to cope with what happened at the time. "It feels like someone close to you has died," she said of the split in an interview with The Independent.
"In my head I had everything until that moment. I had a great career, I was getting married, I had a perfect family. Everything was great. There was really nothing going against me. I was happy, very happy. Then all of a sudden something happens that you don’t expect."
After such a rocky road, we're glad to see Caroline has found love again. But the real worry here is… will she be able to finally wear heels this time around?
Hopefully JJ can succeed where other boyfriends have failed!
