Ryan Reynolds proves he is a real-life superhero
As if we needed any further reasons to adore Ryan Reynolds, he has only gone and proven that he is the ultimate sweetheart.
Doting new dad Ryan took some time out of filming his latest movie Deadpool, to make a young fan’s dream come true after he paid a special visit to the set.
Ryan took to his Instagram account to share photos of his meeting with young Tony Acevedo, a little boy who is currently battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma. In the pictures, Ryan is seen lending Tony his Deadpool mask and embracing him.
“Tony Acevedo asked Make A Wish Foundation if he could meet Deadpool. I wasn’t expecting him to sneak the mask, put on the gloves, smile…and then beat Deadpool about the face, arms and jugular with blazing speed. Tony’s next fight is with Hodgkin’s Disease. Hodgkin’s Disease best be wearing its brown pants,” wrote the 38-year-old.
Ryan also granted the wish of another devoted fan last week, when he met 15-year-old Calista King on the Deadpool set. Presenting her with Deadpool’s sword, the star wrote: “She left with Deadpool’s sword. I can’t think of a better person to have it.”
What lovely gestures to make. We’re sure Ryan made their day!
