Ryan Reynolds reveals the truth about his daughter’s name

We’re not going to lie, we’ve been SO looking forward to finding out the name Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ newborn – but they’re keeping quiet.

One thing  that is now certain is that Violet, the name many believed the couple had given her, is completely WRONG!

The new dad spoke with USA Today and said that he had no idea where that name came from, but it most certainly is not his daughter’s name: “No that’s not the name. I don’t want to get into that but I don’t know where that came from.”

We bet that little girl has the prettiest name ever – we can’t wait to hear it! That is of course, unless Ryan got his way and called her Excalibur Anaconda Reynolds like he threatened to back in October…! We really, really hope not…

Ryan also spoke about the difficulties of being a new dad – namely lack of sleep: “It’s still so new that it’s hard to conceive being away for more than seven hours at a time. I had to go to Sundance this last week. I was more excited to get a good night’s sleep. It was borderline pornographic for me.”

Sounds as if Ryan and Blake have their hands full but are loving every minute of it!
