Sharon Stone goes completely nude for her latest magazine cover
Sharon Stone is certainly not afraid to bare it all on the latest cover of Harper’s Bazaar magazine.
The 57-year old Basic Instinct actress has gone completely nude, except for a fabulous pair of Jimmy Choos along with jewellery from Tiffany & Co.
In the interview with the magazine Sharon talks about her preference for using fillers rather than go under the knife.
She explains that after she suffered a stroke in 2001, she uses the fillers on her face as part of the area was left damaged. Sharon spent nine days in an intensive care unit after the stroke.
Following her release she said that it took her two years to recover her ability to speak and walk as she used to. Speaking about using the fillers Sharon said:
“It’s so common now for people to use fillers, it’s almost like a beauty treatment… It’s a far better alternative to having your face cut apart and looking like you got sucked into a wind tunnel.”
She also talked in-depth about her struggle to return to full health after her stroke.
Her doctors had diagnosed her with a ruptured vertebral artery and she recalls how the stroke changed her entire life.
“My brain isn’t sitting where it used to, my body type changed, even my food allergies are different.”
Her speech was also affected and she worked with a speech therapist to correct a stutter which she had developed. She says that the ordeal was difficult but left “more emotionally intelligent.” During her recovery her marriage to journalist Phil Bronstein broke down and the pair divorced in 2004. She also lost custody of their adopted, then 8-year old son, Roan to Phil.
Since then she says that she is getting her life back in track, but she feel her love life is a little lacklustre, she tells the magazine:
"I don't think men realize that I'm flirting. They just think, Oh, she's fun!" She wonders, apparently; "Do you think people even realise I'm straight? I think they have questions about it because I have so many lesbian friends right now."
