Shut up and take our money! We LOVE these 10 Irish shops

by

We're massive fans of high-street shops and a Penneys bargain (or six), but we do get tired of seeing the same stuff everywhere.

Looking for original threads, vintage bargains or deadly jewellery and don't know where to start?

These are some of our favourite Irish-owned shops, designers, boutiques and sites; we bet you'll love them too!

1. Siopaella

This designer resale shop is Dublin's worst-kept fashion secret.

From cut-price Chanel and Jimmy Choos, to the Siopaella edit range and vintage blouses, you'll always find something gorgeous.

They now have four stores in Dublin and an online store, siopaella.com.

2. Folkster

Folkster, located in Kilkenny and Dublin, have some of the most beautiful clothes we've ever seen.

They have stunning bridal and wedding attire, gorgeous gowns for debs or balls, and stylish homeware as well.

The Kilkenny store boasts a vintage kilo shop and a bridal section.

Folkster isn't just glitz and glam, they also have great casual wear and shoes.

They love customer feedback and often post photos from their buying trips on Snapchat, to get customer opinions.

3. House of Portobello

This Galway-based shop sells pre-owned designer bags and shoes, as well as the best of the high street.

All the items are in perfect condition, and some are BRAND NEW!

And if you've been searching for a particular designer bag, just drop them a line and they'll let you know if it comes in.

4. Nine Crows

Nine Crows is your best bet for amazing vintage and cute accessories.

They've recently opened a new store in Galway, as well as their Temple Bar site and online shop.

Irish jewellery designer Chupi is well known for her delicate-nature inspired pieces.

You can even buy personalised Chupi pieces, ideal for a special birthday or anniversary.

7. Miss Daisy Blue

Cork fashionistas will know this one well!

Miss Daisy Blue sells original vintage clothing, from the 1930's to the 1980's.

How stunning is this vintage wedding dress?

8. Flea Style Market

Technically not a shop, but this monthly flea market in Galway is always worth a visit.

Look out for unique jewellery and fab vintage clothing.

FYI, the next one is on Feburary 26 in the Claddagh Hall in Galway.

9. Aquaruby Jewellery

This Irish-owned website is your one-stop shop for amazing designer jewellery and gifts.

We love the funky stationery and slogan mugs as much as the jewellery!

Check out all their stock on aquaruby.com.

10. Fresh Temple Bar

When you require the perfect pair of Levi's or a distressed band t-shirt, Fresh should be your first port of call!

Fresh has the best festival wear; keep them in mind this summer!
