Singer announces secret Dublin gig!

There is HUGE news for Ed Sheeran fans as it has been revealed that he is set to play a secret gig in Whelan’s music venue in Dublin at the end of January. Yes, as in… this month!

The gig is a part of the Storytellers series by VH1 and will see Ed not only singing but also explaining the background to his songs – sounds perfect!

Apparently, Ed chose Whelan's because it was where he saw one of his idols, Damien Rice, playing when he was a kid: “I was only about 11 or 12 when I saw Damien play at Whelan's, and that night literally changed my life.”

There are only 400 spaces available for the January 24^th gig and it is not yet known if they will be made available to the public. Watch this space…
