Spring, where you at? There is yet MORE bad weather ahead
No surprise here, there are three more weather warnings in effect today, and it doesn't look like the rain is set to ease off over the weekend.
Met Éireann have announced a status yellow weather warning for the entire country, with a further code yellow weather advisory warning in place.
"There will periods of heavy rain, with some severe downpours at times, especially in southwestern, western and northwestern counties with spot flooding," according to the weather monitor.

There is even a possibility of some sleet and snow at times, along with hailstones and thunderstorms.
So a bit of everything, really.
In another warning, a status yellow rainfall warning was also issued for Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare and Kerry.

There will be some very heavy downpours in these areas throughout Friday with a possibility as much as 40mm will fall in places.
"Cold and very unsettled weather will continue right over the weekend."
We won't get the barbecue out quite yet, then.
