Star makes terrifying admission in new interview

When February arrives and Fifty Shades of Grey hits the cinemas, lead actor Jamie Dornan’s star will no doubt explode.

However, while some would be even a little bit excited about the fame and fortune that such a major Hollywood role is guaranteed to bring, poor Jamie admits that he is terrified.

It’s not the prospect of being hounded by paparazzi or chased by screaming girls that has the Northern Irish actor so scared however, it’s his (perhaps irrational?) fear of being hunted down and murdered by angry fans.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Speaking candidly in a recent interview, Jamie told Details magazine: “I almost don’t want to put it out there into the ether, but I fear I’ll get murdered, like John Lennon, by one of those mad fans at the premiere.”

Expanding on his odd theory, the 32-year-old explained: “Because a lot of people are very angry that I’m playing this character. And I’m a father now, and a husband. I don’t want to die yet. And when I do get murdered, people will say, ‘God, isn’t it haunting how he did that interview in Details magazine and predicted his own death on the red carpet?”

Stop it, Jamie! You even have us terrified now!
