Star sparks engagement rumours with sparkler on her ring finger

She gave birth to the couple’s first child together just over a week ago, and it looks as though actress Liv Tyler and her partner, David Gardner, could have more exciting news to share.

The Lord of the Rings star has set the rumour mill in motion this weekend after stepping out wearing a massive diamond on her ring finger.

The photos were snapped just a day after Liv revealed their chosen name for their little bundle of joy – Sailer Gene Gardner.

It is believed that the couple were stepping out to visit their son, who has been kept in hospital after being born six weeks ahead of his due date.

An eye witness observed: “Liv looked good, but she and Dave looked like concerned parents. Dave was very comforting towards Liv.”

While it is the first baby for the couple, both are already parents; Liv is mum to 10-year-old son Milo from her previous marriage to Royston Langdon, while David is also dad to seven-year-old son Gray.

Could we be hearing the sound of wedding bells in the near future? It certainly seems that way!
