Steamy public liplock proves it’s still on for this Hollywood pair

Their relationship has been plagued by rumours of splits and general uncertainty, but it looks like Johnny Depp and Amber Heard couldn't be more ON if their appearance at a gala in L.A yesterday is anything to go by!

The couple, who got engaged in April last year, put rumours that their relationship was on the rocks to rest when they attended the Art of Elysium Heaven gala at the weekend.

The smitten pair couldn't keep their hands off each other and displayed moments of real tenderness at the worthy event. Holding hands when they made their initial appearance on the red carpet, Golden Globe winner Johnny then went on to gently touch Amber's face while posing for photographers before presenting his wife-to-be with the Spirit of Elysium award.

The award recognises artist's contribution to the organisation and honours those who have volunteered with the organisation's creative workshop for ill children.

If there was any doubt that the 51-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star was held over heels for the 28-year-old Texan, they were quickly dispelled when the pair puckered up and smooched old-school style in front of fellow guests.
