Storm Keating reveals significant milestone with husband Ronan
Storm Keating has just achieved a huge milestone!
Back in 2012, the Australian TV producer relocated to London to work on The Voice UK, and later settled in the English countryside with her husband Ronan and their two children – Cooper (6) and Coco (3).
Now, 11 years after moving to England for the very first time, Storm has announced that she has been granted British citizenship.
Taking to her Instagram account earlier today, the 41-year-old uploaded a video montage of herself celebrating the milestone with Ronan and her loved ones.
The clips showcase Storm attending the British Embassy to collect her citizenship certificate, with the support of her 46-year-old husband.
After receiving the important paper, the mum-of-two was then treated to a stunning outdoor meal, complete with a delicious cake with the words, ‘Now you’re a Pomausie’ written alongside it.
“After living in England for 11 years and bearing two British babies, I have pledged my allegiance to the King and can now proudly call myself a #britishcitizen,” Storm exclaimed in the caption of her post.
Many of Storm’s 156K followers have since taken to the comments section of her post to congratulate her on her new status.
“Congratulations Storm, even our British weather couldn’t put you off, you really must love it here,” one fan teased.
“Brave woman wanting to be part of this country, congratulations x,” another joked.
“Aww congratulations- we’re glad to have you,” a third follower added.
Storm and Ronan first met on the set of The X Factor in Australia back in 2012, when the Boyzone star featured on the series as a judge.
A few months later, the pair began to date and officially tied the knot in August 2015 during a lavish ceremony in Scotland.
