Study reveals how your hair can give you a boost of confidence
A new survey has discovered just how intertwined our hair can be with our confidence!
A report by premium haircare brand OGX has revealed how women end up receiving confidence boosters through their hair.
Freshly washed and styled hair was discovered to be in the top three confidence boosters. The results also revealed that while 1 in 5 of us have been reduced to tears on a bad hair day, a huge 61% of us have felt empowered when our hair is looking great. You should never dismiss the idea of a good hair day!
The OGX research also uncovered that a whopping 67% of those surveyed admitted that trying new hairstyles was a huge part of finding their identity. 56% have changed their hairstyle up to eight times in the last decade, while 51% have experimented with up to six different colours. Whether it's a short bob or a fresh colour, 39% said these changes helped to shape who they are.
In their report, the experts at OGX went on to highlight that all hair has a history. Whether you’re going through a showstopping colour transformation, a seriously questionable cut, or a post break up ‘new you’, the hair on our head experiences it all.
