As part of Ireland's Autism Awareness Month campaign, accessories brand Stella & Dot have pledged to donate all proceeds from Irish sales of their new Harmony Bracelet (€19) to charity.

For each bracelet purchased in Ireland during the month of April, all net proceeds will be donated to Irish Autism Action, a young dynamic, innovative and passionate organisation bringing positive change into the lives of those affected by autism.

Stella & Dot Vice President Kathleen Mitchell says that Irish stylists for the brand are "extremely passionate" about giving back and are hoping to make a "big impact."

Every year in Ireland, some 276,000 people are impacted by an autism diagnosis – be it the person being diagnosed or their friends, family members and loved ones.

"We at Irish Autism Action believe that awareness is key to driving understanding and therefore understanding can transform lives," said the charity's CEO Kevin Whelan
