Sly Stallone is the latest actor to be accused of sexual assault
Sylvester Stallone has denied allegations levelled against him by a woman who claims the actor assaulted her in a Las Vegas hotel bedroom in the 1980s.
She claims that in July 1986, at the age of 16, she had sexual intercourse with Stallone and his bodyguard after being given keys to the former's hotel bedroom after procuring an autograph from the Rocky actor.
The woman, who felt humiliated and ashamed in the wake of the incident, has asserted that she went to authorities soon after the event, but ultimately decided against pressing charges meaning that the case was dropped.
It has been established that in an effort to verify the claims, the Daily Mail approached retired detective sergeant John Samolovitch from the Las Vegas police department, who reportedly confirmed the existence of documentations pertaining to the allegations.
"She said that after she got dressed, Stallone made the comment to her that they were both married men and that she could not tell anybody about the incident and if she did, that they would have to beat her head in,” a report is said to read.
The actor's spokesperson has dismissed the allegations, insisting that the actor is only learning of the allegations against him now.
"This is a ridiculous, categorically false story. No one was ever aware of this story until it was published today, including Mr Stallone." Michelle Bega said.
"At no time was Mr Stallone ever contacted by any authorities or anyone else regarding this matter."
The Las Vegas Police Department has yet to comment on the matter.
