We love a good trend here in Shemazing! Towers and our favourite ones are pieces that can spice an outfit up in an instant.

For the past few seasons, rose gold has been on the top of the trend charts, but coming into winter, when it's all black and dreary, a little metallic action is going to go a long way.

Here, we pick our top six favourite pieces in stores and online now:

1. Life Style Sports – Reebok Rose Gold trainers

These are perfect for dressing casually, but still adding a bit of sophistication to your look. Whether you're wearing a trackie, jeans or leggings, these Reebok rose gold runners will bring you a long way.

2. ASOS – Quay Australia Sunglasses with Rose Gold Mirror Lens

With a grey exterior and rose gold lens, these are the glasses of the season. So when the sun makes an appearance between the clouds, whip these fab beauties out.

3. ASOS – Skinnydip Rose Gold Phone Case

Your phone can be on trend too, you know. Between the metallic case and glitter back, it's perfect for adding some sparkle to your everyday life.

4. River Island – Rose Gold Mules

Much like the Reebok runners, these mules will jazz an outfit up in no time. Throw on a black dress or skinny jeans and add these heels… Perfect!

5. ASOS – Mi Pac Backpack with Rose Gold Pocket

If you don't want to go ALL out with the metallic look, then this bag is just for you. This is a super cute and eye-catching backpack whether you need it for college, work or the gym!

6. Wild & Wolf – Rose Gold Telephone

We couldn't leave this out! Not only is the metallic look really on-trend (both in fashion and interiors), but the retro look is also super cool at the moment. This phone will end up being your favourite item in your house.

Hailey Baldwin might only be 19 years old but the teen model has already forged an impressive career for herself.  Having previously modelled for the likes of Tommy Hilfiger and Moschino, Hailey has now decided to give design a go.

The American beauty has launched her first ever accessory collection with luxury Australian brand The Daily Edited and, in keeping with her own admirable sense of style, the nine-piece range is filled with neutral tones and practical designs.

The capsule collection includes two backpacks, three different clutches, a bucket bag, a perforated passport cover, a burgandy cosmetics case and a long black tote.

According to The Daily Mail, Hailey was involved at every stage of the design process and not only did she have a major say over the colours and textures which were included, she was insistent that each piece had to be highly functional.

The teen star told the paper she's excited about the collection as it's something she has always wanted to do, before going on to explain how fame has drastically changed her life.

She said: "My life definitely isn't as simple as it used to be – the attention on me personally is a lot more."

"Things are a lot less simple, I used to live at home with my parents and wake up and go to school and then go to dance class and dance ballet seven days a week…Now I have to be very responsible, I have a job, I have to travel and I have to take care of myself."

Hailey landed her first commercial campaign with French Connection when she was 18-years-old and has since gone on to model for big names like Topshop and Ralph Lauren.  The daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin has also appeared in Vogue and Teen Vogue.

As the unveiling of any totally OTT festive perfume confirms – fragrance trends are big business.

Yup, everything from your eyebrows to your Saint Laurent snake-effect leather ankle boots can be on fleek but it won’t mean a tap if you also don’t smell right.

At least your jewellery can help out; sweet-smelling accessories are now very much a thing.

Leading the pack is most definitely David Yurman – which has just released its Bubblegum Pinky Collection: a series of oh-so cool rings complete with a choice of bubblegum, grape, peppermint, licorice, or candy floss aromas.

It already has a load of celeb fans – including Rita Ora, who just weeks ago was gushing about the range on social media – and stylists are clamouring over one another to get their hands on one of the pieces.

Obsessed with these #bubblegumpinky rings! Thank you @davidyurman

But it's not just David Yurman. Fellow designers such as Kilian Hennessy (a Frenchman with distinctly Irish roots – he’s part of the Hennessy cognac dynasty) are driving the trend into 2016 too.

Kilian, who launched his perfume house in 2007, recently introduced an art deco Lights And Reflections collection. Included are chunky rings that contain subtle ceramic cubes ready to be sprayed with any of his signature 35 scents.

Jade Trau (Cara Delevingne is a big fan) has created an oversized locket ring fitted with solid perfume inside, and last year, new brand OBO Paris launched its “wearable and leak-proof bottle of perfume,” – 3mls of fragrance to carry around with you in one of its rings, bracelets or necklaces.

It's pretty AND it's filled with solid perfume to help navigate the lovely odors of steamy hot NYC days ohhhh…gotta…

Posted by Jade Trau on Wednesday, 8 July 2015

The Parisian designer behind the brand, 30-year-old Julien Cohen, said at the time of the unveiling that he “wanted to make a beautiful accessory that can perfume your skin”.

Meanwhile, Lisa Hoffman, wife of actor Dustin, has also released fragrance within jewellery via her Lisa Hoffman Beauty brand.

And rather than apply fragrance directly to your skin, this range – which counts Amber Heard and Halle Berry among its many Hollywood fans – instead uses tiny fragrance beads which are housed inside charms.

“Our fragrance beads are eco-friendly and made from the highest standard of pure perfume,” she says on her website.

“Each piece of jewellery comes with refillable fragrance beads so you can easily refresh the scent in your charm.”

Festival- and barbecue-soirees are just around the corner – which can only mean one thing: we're gonna need oodles of accessories to see us through to autumn.

Yes, from statement jewellery to floral headbands, 'tis the season for jazzing, snazzing, and updating old outfits.

This year in particular, there is lots of fringing, floppy hats, and statement necklaces. And although we're sadly not all on a celebrity budget, it doesn't mean we can't accessorise as well as they do.

Here are some of our favourite accessories that come in under €10 and STILL look great!

First up, earrings:

Silver fringe earrings are only €7 and are from Forever 21.  Fringe is popping up on pretty much everything item of clothing or accessory and is an absolute must for 2015.

Front and back earrings are beginning to appear in all high street stores and are set to be a big trend for Summer. These are €6 from River Island

Foot chains:

This perfect addition to any beach get-up, this first foot chain is €9 and is from Forever 21.

This layered foot chain is only €8.40 from Missguided and is the glam you need with your pool attire.

Hair accessories:

These are essential for any festival or concert and this floral is from Missguided and comes in at €8.40

If floral is not your thing, this chain headpiece will also give you that festival look in a more subtle way. It's €4 and from Forever 21.

Sunglasses:

Aztec is always a popular summer trend and these Missguided shades are only €8

A pair of aviator sunnies is a must have year-in-year-out. These sunglasses from New Look are a steal at just €7

Statement necklaces:

This statement necklace would go perfect with a white dress and is only €6 from Missguided

This metallic fringe necklace from Bershka is a must! It's a steal at only €9.99

OK, so there’s been a lot of rain lately; not to mention hail – even a spot of sleet too. In short, summer feels like a very long way away.

But we’re quietly confident that a scorching May is only just around the corner – which means that it’s time to think about seasonal attire. Gone will be heavy coats, boots, and leggings; replaced by flowing skirts, sandals, and light jackets.

Versace's S/S 15 collection

But a change in the weather means we also need to rethink our wardrobes. And while the catwalk might provide inspiration – Versace, for example, has a beach-club chic, crystal-embellished silk mini dress for (gulp) €4,250 – the likes of Penneys is perfect for designer-inspired wear at incredibly affordable prices. In fact, the Irish retailer has heaps of inexpensive clothing and accessories that would work brilliantly for holidays abroad, funky festivals, or – when the sun is shining – stylish events on home-soil.

Green top €13; green skirt €12; sunglasses €2.50
Pattern dress, €16; sunglasses, €3.50; bag €8; bracelet, €5; rings €3

Most of the summer stock has now landed, and we’re happy to report that a good chunk of it is seriously head-turning.

Clockwise: Palm Springs swimsuit, €12; ruffle playsuit, €12;
tropical flatfrom, €22; pink pom pom shorts, €7

With lots of rich patterns and textures, we particularly love the lace and crinkled crepe materials on offer. Off-the-shoulder tops, dropped-waist dresses, and high-waist shorts are all there too, as is colourful embroideries and beading, fringing, tassels and pom-poms. Gladiator sandals are back and big news this season – Penneys has a good selection of those too.

Black top, €17; skirt, €17; shoes, €12; earrings, €2;
white top, €15; shorts, €13; shoes, €18; earrings, €2

If you’re hitting the beach, bold colours dominate the brand’s bikinis, while funky swimwear items boast an ombre effect. T-shirts come complete with cheeky slogans and classic characters.

Don’t forget accessories either; cute and colourful friendship bracelets and mix-and-match rings would complete any summery outfit nicely.

Clockwise: sandals, €8; floral bag, €12; floral shoes; €12, blue necklace, €8

With the weather (hopefully) getting milder over the next month or two, we'll finally be able to ditch our giant coats and woolly scarves in favour of some lighter layers – and fab accessories, too!

There are some gorgeous trends kicking off this season, and we've already got our wishlist sorted. Now, to find the funds…

Here are five key accessories trends we'll be living for this season…

1. Statement earrings
Forget studs and pearls, Spring 2015 is all about bling and getting noticed. These feather drop earrings are light enough for everyday wear, but they'll definitely make you stand out from the crowd!

2. Long-handled bags
Bag straps this season are either short and ladylike, or over-long with a bohemian feel. This sunshine yellow cross body satchel is the perfect size, too.

3. Precious stones
Instead of dreaming of diamonds, Spring 2015 is all about bolder stones like marble, quartz and turquoise. We love this gold pair with inset stones from ASOS.

4. Solid chokers
Let your jewellery do the talking with a bold statement choker, like this geometric gold one from Topshop.

As if you ever need to justify a shopping trip, the dark nights and cold weather are certainly up there with the top excuses. But before you traipse into the shops, armed with your wallet and comfy shoes you might want to write a list of what you actually need – if you’re anything like us, you will going in looking for a pair of socks and come out with anything but socks.

Here are the essentials to take you right through to the spring and beyond:

1. An umbrella
An absolute essential when you live in Ireland! Skip the plain looking cheap ones and go for one with a bit of a personality. We absolutely love this one from Dunnes Stores – admit it we all love dancing in the rain!

2. A scarf
Not only does it keep you warm, it jazzes up a plain black dress and gives your winter wardrobe a much-needed colour boost. This one from H&M stylishly uses pretty autumn colours.

3. Furry headband
Even if you’re not hitting the slopes this year, a faux fur headband is definitely one for your winter wardrobe. This gorgeous black one from Oasis will keep your ears snugly without giving you hat hair – impressive.

4. Fedora hat
We admit this won’t be much good when it is blowing a gale outside but how pretty would it look with a cape, skinny and knee high boots. There is no doubt about it, this navy blue one from Topshop will have you strutting the streets like Kendall Jenner.

5. Leather gloves
Right, so our budget won’t stretch to full leather gloves but these black ones with a trim from River Island will do just fine. How sophisticated will we look catching the bus to college!

The horse racing season is well underway, launching a long summer of outdoor occasion dressing ahead of us. Follow these race day attire tips to ensure your odds are through the roof this season.

Dress accordingly for the occasion and the weather
Remember, you’ll be outside for most of the day, not hitting a nightclub. Don’t have your skirt too short, heels you can’t walk in and the too much flesh on display.  Race festival fashion should be more demure than disco.

Balance your outfit
If you’re going all out with a flamboyant hat, keep the rest of your outfit understated.

Accessorise, accessorise, accessorise
A day at the races is all about having fun with your outfit and accessorising is a must.  Bags, heels and hats are the staple pieces that should complement the outfit to get that polished look.

Solid colours
Block colours make for a dynamic, confident look that’s perfect for the races. Alternatively, monochrome, the staple style for the Belmont Stakes in New York, can leave a lasting impression. Pair monochrome outfits with a bold red lip and small clutch for a dynamic overall look.
