Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter has hit back at rumours she was drunk on ITV’s Text Santa marathon.

Twitter was alight with speculation that the actress was drunk or under the influence causing her to hit back saying: “nope sorry that’s just me.”

Jorgie, who plays Theresa McQueen on the soap joined Phillip Schofield for the 24hour marathon show. Phillip managed to stay awake for the whole marathon, finally signing off at 11am and leaving the ITV studios with his wife.

There is wonderful news for Hilary Duff’s son Luca, as he will soon have a little baby cousin to play with! Hilary’s sister, Haylie Duff has announced her pregnancy through her website Real Girl’s Kitchen.

The Napoleon Dynamite actress announced the news in a sweet post called ‘And baby makes three’ writing: “Today we have big, exciting, wonderful, magical, amazing news! Matty and I are expecting a baby girl! Entering this new chapter of our lives and our relationship has been so special. We are so happy and so in love with her already!!”

Haylie later shared a cute photo of her bump on Twitter, writing: “So excited to finally get to share gems like this! Chicken’s favourite napping spot! #BabyAndPuppy.”

Her sister Hilary also shared her excitement at the news, tweeting: “GUYS I’m going 2 be an auntie @haylieduff & @matt_sts are going to be the best parents to a sweet baby &luc will have a partner in crime.”

Haylie and her fiancé Matt have been engaged since April of this year.

She has previously expressed her desire to adopt a child, and now it seems that actress Rosario Dawson has finally brought her dream to reality.

 

According to reports, the Sin City actress has adopted a 12-year-old girl.

 

Adoption is a subject that is particularly close to the 35-year-old star’s heart. Rosario has previously spoken of her love for her step-father, Greg Dawson, who married her mother, Isabel, when Rosario was just one.

 

Speaking to You magazine, Rosario said: “He’s always been my dad. He loved my mum and he loved me. That was really amazing. He was strong for a young man of just 21.”

 

She counted her relationship with her step-father as one of the main reasons behind her desire to adopt.

 

 

She told Latina magazine: “I always wanted to adopt kids because my dad adopted me. That idea has stayed in the back of my head, but lately, I’ve been thinking about it more.”

 

Rosario is a keen charity supporter, and has previously hosted events for orphans and people in need.

There is worry for former EastEnders actress Elaine Lordan after she was spotted walking down a London street alone, drinking from a bottle of white wine. Elaine played the role of Lynn Slater on the soap from 2000 until 2004. 

According to reports, the actress drank the half-bottle of wine in one go before dumping it in a bin and making her way home.

Elaine has suffered a lot of tragedy in her life, losing her mum and son James in 2005, with her dad passing three years later, in 2008. She has since admitted to suffering with alcohol abuse and depression shortly afterwards, which she was treated for.

We really hope she is doing okay and can get some help for any issues she may have.

Orange Is The New Black star Diane Guerrero, who plays Maritza on the hit Netflix show, broke down in tears on CNN yesterday.

The actress became emotional when speaking about her parents and brother, who were deported to Columbia when she was only 14-years-old.

Discussing the fateful day, Diane says she came home from school to find their cars still there, the lights on, but nobody home.

Neighbours then came around to tell Diane that her parents had been taken away.

The actress then finished school and went to college alone – saying that nobody in authority came to see if she was okay after her parents were taken. 

Speaking about her relationship with her parents today, Diane says that it is extremely difficult as she feels she doesn’t know what it going on with them, a subject that causes her to get very emotional.

Diane appeared on the show to talk about America’s immigration laws, which are currently being overhauled by President Obama.

Elle Fanning has gotten something of a makeover – and it’s dramatic to say the least!

The actress is set to star in Three Generations as a teenager who is transitioning from female to male and the role sees her with short brown hair and a very different style to what we’re used to.

In new stills from the movie, it is safe to say we almost did not realise it was Elle!

It sounds as if Elle is following in the footsteps of Charlize Theron, Christian Bale and other greats when it comes to changing an image drastically for a movie!

The movie makes a huge change from Elle's last movie role where she played Disney princess Aurora opposite Angelina Jolie in Maleficent. 

However, many people aren’t so happy about Elle’s casting, asking why a real-life trans-gender teenager wasn’t used instead.

Producers of the movie are yet to comment.

There is some painful revelations recently for EastEnders star Lorna Fitzgerald. 

The actress, who plays Abi Branning on the long-running soap is said to be “really embarrassed” following reports that her boyfriend once made more than twenty X-rated fetish films. 

The Sunday Mirror reported that Keo Reid kept his former film making under wraps but a source for the newspaper has said: “He will be devastated if she dumps him over this. He knows it’s not good for her.”

The 18-year-old actress has been dating Keo for six months now and is said to be fearful about her family finding out: “She’s such a sweet girl and she’l hate her family and everyone else finding out about this.”

Poor Lorna – we hope she keeps her chin up and this will all blow over soon.

Actress Valeria Bertinelli doesn’t have very nice things to say about Christina Aguilera – and unsurprisingly, Christina does’t care!

The Hot in Cleveland and Touched By An Angel actress appeared on Watch What Happens Live and was asked about a supposed feud she had with the singer. Valerie then replied that Christina had given her the cold shoulder and added: “she might have gotten better but I heard she hasn’t.” Meow!

Christine, meanwhile, replied to the dig in her own way, sharing a photo on Instagram and writing: “In more important news..”

She clearly isn’t going to let Valerie’s words get her down!

Fans of the singer will also be delighted to see that is looks like new music may be coming out soon!

It’s all over for actress Debra Messing and her boyfriend of three years, Will Chase.

The couple began dating back in 2011 after meeting on the set of Smash.

An official statement from the couple's rep to US Weekly read: “Debra Messing and Will Chase have ended their two and a half year relationship but remain close friends.”

Will and Debra began dating back in 2011, not long after Debra's divorce from Daniel Zelman was announced. 

Debra and Daniel have one son together, 10-year-old Roman, while Will is a dad to two teenage daughters, Daisy and Gracie, with his ex-wife Lori. 

The Will and Grace actress is currently starring in a new crime-drama show called The Mysteries of Laura. 

Will, meanwhile, appears frequently on Nashville.

Actress Lake Bell has welcomed her new arrival into the world. 

A rep for the actress confirmed that she gave birth to a baby girl, though no name has yet been reported. 

This is the first child for Lake and her husband, celebrity tattoo artist, Scott Campbell. 

Scott and Lake were married last June in New Orleans after a year-long engagement. 

The Million Dollar Arm star showed off her nursery, which was under construction, on Instagram two months ago, writing: “Everything is ready to go! Sterile, chillaxing, serene….Hope baby comes early! #hopebabyunderstandssarcasm.”

Congratulations to the happy couple on their wonderful new arrival.
