The Milk Tray Man is retiring… but he's on the search for a replacement.

If you know a man who likes jumping out of moving trains, who enjoys gift-giving and who looks good in a black polo neck, this could be the job for him.

The chocolate-bearing hero was last seen on our screens in 2002, and he was known for going to daring extremes all for the sake of his lady love's happiness.

But the revamped Milk Tray man won't just be asked to act like the next James Bond – he'll need to be courteous and sweet to boot.

"The key point is the new Milk Tray man won’t be chosen just for his derring-do, diving off cliffs into shark-infested waters," explains Cadbury spokesman Tony Bilsborough.

"It will be as much about traits such as thoughtfulness."

The perfect boyfriend, really.

In a new ad, set to debut on ITV tonight, former Milk Tray Man James Coombes bids us farewell before jumping out the window (standard), leaving the office free for his descendant.

Know someone who's interested?

As long as they are over 18, they can apply or nominate someone else on the New Milk Tray Man website here before the end of November 2015.

If you're in a long-term relationship you're likely sick to death of people asking when you plan on getting married/having kids, but spare a thought for the poor Danes.

Denmark is known for its low birth rate, so anyone of child-bearing age is probably getting hounded on a daily basis to start a family.

Now one travel company has come up with a solution for the country's aging population issues… kinda.

A new ad, aimed at older parents who are just gagging for a grandchild, suggests they pay for their child to go on an "active holiday," with the hope they'll spend lots of time between the sheets.

The logic? People are more likely to have sex on a sunny holiday.

Plus, couples who break a sweat together are apparently proven to have more sex too.

"You were there when your son learned how to walk, but when it comes to making grandchildren it might be a little awkward to help out," the ad says.

"Maybe it's time to get a little proactive."

Would-be grandparents can purchase a Spies Travel holiday for their child – be they single or attached – in the hope that they'll be inspired to get down and dirty.

The Do It For Mom campaign is a follow on from the Do It For Denmark campaign in 2014, which offered an "ovulation discount" to any couples planning a romantic city break.

An ovulation discount? We could get on board with that.

Irish expats in Toronto were left a little shellshocked this week by a very controversial ad campaign.

The ad, posted on a truck which has been driving around Toronto's streets in the last couple of weeks, shows an Irish flag and the message "Go Home Irish!" It also features a website, helpfully titled PleaseLeaveCanada.com.

Before you start ringing up the Irish Embassy in Canada to complain though, it might be worth noting that the campaign is more than a little tongue-in-cheek.

The website listed actually redirects users to an Irish ad agency's site, where the following message is displayed:

Aaaaw.

"We want you to come home. Not as much as your mum, but still," the folks at The Social House add on their blog. "We’re going through a growth spurt at the moment, and would love to add talented, prolific, skilled people to the mix, both on the account handling and creative sides of the office."

The ad has popped up outside a number of high-profile ad agencies in Toronto of late, in the hope of catching the attention of some talented Irish employees who might be lured into moving home. Cheeky, but we like it.

Dermot and Dave have made their move from 98fm to Today FM, so we knew there’d be a few funny ads coming out to tell everyone to tune in – however, Twitter was NOT happy when they saw this one:

People felt the ad, which showed their faces in a bra, was sexist, and they had no qualms about letting the duo know how they felt:

Some people, however, thought it was all a bit of an over-reaction:

A spokesperson for Today FM has also defended the ad, and explained that it's all just a bit of fun: "It’s not meant to be taken so seriously. The ‘Double D’ is obviously a play on a bra cup size and the ‘double d’ that is Dermot and Dave. I think when people tune into Dermot and Dave today, they’ll appreciate that the lads don’t take themselves too seriously either."

Style princess Alexa Chung is the new face of Nails Inc.

The 30-year-old model and TV presenter will collaborate with the UK-based brand on a six-shade collection of fabric-inspired nail polishes that are set to launch in August.

Alexa announced the news on Twitter, writing, ”This is a thing”, and attached the ad-snap of her clutching a huge bottle of varnish.

She then added, ”That’s a normal size bottle. I’m just really small…”

In June, customers will be given a sneak preview of the range when a limited-edition shade called Red Lace goes on sale at nailsinc.com.

Busy bee Alexa also plans to create her very first clothing collection later this year.

She said, ”That’s going to be the first opportunity where I haven’t had a nine-to-five job – I’ve been doing Eyeko, I wrote a book, I did Fuse every day, and various other design gigs and DJing.

”So this will be the first time to actually sort of sit down and think about it. I’m going to get it off the ground hopefully in 2014.”

Alexa admits she hasn’t gotten very far with her collection.

”For the first collection? Oh god I don’t even know… See, that’s why I need some time to think about it!”

Cracker company Honey Maid recently released an advertisement that celebrated the diversity of modern families.

The ad, which featured a same-sex couple, received quite a lot of negative backlash.

But instead of reacting to the negative comments with more negativity, the company decided to make something positive out of the tweets and emails.

Watch what they came up with.

Amy Poehler’s Old Navy advert is so funny.

She stars as a slightly terrifying law firm boss who defends criminal cats. Yes, cats.

Watch the above for some Friday lolz.

The words ‘parents’ and ‘condoms’ should never be used in the same sentence. Unfortunately, this ad ignores the rule and goes one step too far by putting it into a video.

This has got to be one of the most cringe-worthy condoms ads you will ever see.
