Ever woken up with a hangover, checked your Twitter timeline and cringed?

Drunk tweeting is never a good idea, but if you just so happen to have 23.8million followers hanging on your every word, then it's most definitely a bad decision.

Adele admits she learnt that the hard way a few years back, when she had her Twitter privileges removed after sending a few too many ill-advised tweets.

"When Twitter first came out I was, like, drunk tweeting, and nearly put my foot in it quite a few times," she revealed during a BBC Special last night.

Even though she doesn't drink these days, the Hello singer says she still prefers to let someone else manage her social media.

Nowadays each tweet Adele writes has to go through not one but two different members of her team before going live.

"My management decided that you have to go through two people and then it has to be signed off by someone, but they're all my tweets," she explained, after being asked about the rumour that she had no access to her own Twitter account.

"No one writes my tweets. They just post them for me. So, yeah, that's very, very true."

Adele's not the only celebrity to have employed a social media manager in recent years – it's quite common among Hollywood's elite, in fact.

Lena Dunham recently revealed that she had sworn off checking her own Twitter notifications or posting her own tweets, after repeated incidents of online bullying.

"It really, truly wasn't a safe space for me," she said.

"'Even if you think, like, 'Oh I can read, like, ten mentions that say I should be stoned to death' and kind of, like, laugh and move on.

"That's verbal abuse. Those aren't words that should be directed at you ever."

Normally, if a rather creepy clown sang to you, "after all these years, you'd like to meet," you'd more than likely run home and hide.

Fortunately in this case, the creepy clown is Joe Jonas dressed up for Halloween and this is a beautiful cover of Adele's new song Hello

Even though Joe is completely unrecognisable, it's still a pretty good video:

Earlier this week Adele revealed that her new song Hello was about reaching out to people from her past.

And last night Twitter user Mary Calderella did just that, playing an epic prank on her ex-boyfriend by randomly texting him lines from the hit song.

Clearly poor Matt is not much of an Adele fan as he didn't pick up on the trick, and thought maybe he was in with a chance of a reunion.

"At least I can say that I've tried"

"Last time I asked if we could go on a date when I came to Auburn you told me to go f**k myself."

Since it was posted two days ago, Mary's tweet has been retweeted almost 13,000 times and favourited 20,000 times. She's also gone viral worldwide.

Her verdict? "Only good thing he ever did for me."

Revenge is sweet.

After a three year hiatus, Adele finally popped back up to say Hello and gave her first interview in FOREVER, where we actually learned quite a bit about the mysterious singer.

In an interview with i-D Magazine, she opened up about her new album, 25, as well as what it's like to be a mother. But the Skyfall singer also talked about what she wants in her future, and that is Britney Spears.

In the interview, the singer was asked "what's next?" and she said she would love to go on a proper tour and also said "I'd like to see Britney in Vegas."

We like they way you're thinking Adele. And so does Britney herself.

Ms Spears read Adele's interview and decided to reach out to her on Twitter saying that she will trade two tickets for her Piece Of Me show for two tickets to Adele's upcoming tour (which sounds pretty fair to us).

We hope these two become BFFs now and cannot wait to see both of them cheering each other on from the front row.

You might as well get used to reading articles like this one as Adele has already broken the first of many records with her new album, 25

The British singer beat Taylor Swift's VEVO record for the most views during the first 24 hours.

Her new music video, Hello, achieved a massive 27.7 million streams in the first 24 hours of going online.

Unfortunately for Taylor, Adele smashed her record by seven million hits, with Ms Swift's Bad Blood only reaching 20.1 million views.

Before that, Nicki Minaj held the record with Anaconda, which achieved 19.6 million hits on it's first day.

Adele is set to hit a new height in chart records this week after analysts predicted she could claim the biggest ever first-week digital sales for a song.

The heart wrenching single has already sold over 450,000 copies in America, edging closer to current record holder Flo Rida with his song Right Round (WHY that song is in first place, who knows?!) which sold 636,000 downloads in it's first week back in 2009.

Just days ago Adele revealed that she would soon be releasing her first album in four years.

The 27-year old singer told her fans in an emotional letter which she posted on social media, that her album 25 would be released on 20 November.

The first single, Hello and the accompanying video has been made available to her fans today.

Naturally, they were very excited by the news.

The song is a classic Adele ballad with a sepia-tined video. While it might have been four years since we heard something new from the singer, she still sounds amazing.

Also, the video really amps up the retro vibes with that flip phone. People are a little bit obsessed with it.

Her eyeliner is also a huge topic of conversation. It never fails to looks anything less than incredible. Seriously, how does one create such symmetry every single time?

Adele’s fans quickly took to Twitter to express their delight at her return.

When she spoke to BBC Radio 1 earlier today however, she admitted that she had some serious doubts about the quality of her new music.

She said her “confidence was knocked” and almost scrapped numerous songs for 35 because they “weren’t good enough.”

Thankfully, Hello was not one of them.

It seems we could be hearing new music from Adele pretty soon!

According to music website, Hits, the 27-year-old singer will release a new track in the first two weeks of November.

It is also claimed that her new album will follow at the end of November, possibly the 20th.

While there has been no official announcement of yet, we're still getting pretty excited.

The last piece of music Adele released was way back in 2012, when she wrote and sang the theme tune for James Bond's Skyfall film, which she received a Grammy for.

Since having her baby, Angelo, in 2012, she singer went on a music hiatus – but it seems that could all be over!

It has been almost an entire year since Adele was supposed to release her third studio album, and her fans are getting very anxious to hear some new material from the star.

While it might feel like we haven’t heard a thing from the Grammy winner in years, we might not have to wait much longer.

Her third album is expected to be released at some point this November. However this has not yet been confirmed by the singer or her management as of yet.

No need to panic just yet though, because thanks to the BBC there has been reports that Adele is definitely planning a huge comeback with not just an album but also a TV special.

The Sun reports that there is an hour-long special in the works with the BBC that will coincide with Adele’s new album release.

A source told the paper: “Adele is simply too big just to be part of a green room of guests on a chat show. She deserves her own dedicated programme where the spotlight will only be on her.”

The rumour is that following the scheme of her last albums, Adele is planning to title her latest offering 25. Her last album, 21 was released in 2011 and it is apparently hoped that 21’s success will boost sales for 25.

The source also added about the TV special:  “It’s not like she desperately needs the publicity but you can’t turn your nose up at that level of exposure.”

Meanwhile, bookies are already putting odds on the star to be a headliner at Glastonbury, which doesn’t take place for another nine months. Since speculation about her album’s release date has intensified in recent weeks, she’s become a favourite to make an appearance.

Back in 2011 Adele wowed the music industry with her second album, 21.

It ended up being the most commercially successful album worldwide over the last decade, but all has been quiet for the singer since…until now.

The mum-of-one is ready for her comeback, with a new album aptly titled 25. The brand new recordings will be released this November, and there are some extremely talented producers already on board from collaborations.

Max Martin, the producing mastermind behind Taylor Swift's Shake It Off and Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl, is reportedly on board, as well as Danger Mouse, who forms one half of Gnarls Barkley with CeeLo Green.

Adele first teased her new album in May 2014, on the eve of her 26th birthday. "Bye bye 25…See you again later in the year x" she wrote alongside a picture of herself looking relaxed in bed.

According to some sources, the singer was set for a surprise Beyoncé-style album drop last year, but decided to return to the studio to perfect the tracks rather than rush things.

"It was complete but she was worried it wouldn’t be as good as 21 and went back into the studio a few times,” a source told Mirror Celeb recently.

"She wanted to release it as a surprise like Beyonce quite a few months ago but it wasn’t ready. She decided to re-write some of the material but it’s now done and will hopefully be released later this year."

While we have yet to hear so much as a leaked track from the new album, singer Ed Sheeran ad already given it his seal of approval… kinda.

"I haven’t heard [the record], but everyone I know who’ve worked on it is just like, ‘Dude… that record!’ Apparently it’s really good," Ed told Capital FM.

We cannot WAIT to see what Adele has in store.

Adele fans across the globe are shrieking in delight this morning since it's been announced that the mega-talented singer is FINALLY putting plans in place for a world tour! Deep breaths girls, deep breaths.

The 26-year-old singer from London had taken time off to be a mum in recent years, but it looks like the music industry can't be deprived of the Someone Like You singer for much longer.

Planning to tour Europe, Australia, America and Asia in 2016, the glamorous songstress will be back promoting her third album in a stadium near you in no time!

Adele's son Angelo, with partner Simon Konecki, will be accompanying his uber-talented mum on her tour, with a source close to the star saying: "Adele took time off to be a mum and she loves it- but now Angelo is a bit older she's ready to get back out there."

Grammy award-winner Adele wants to pull out all the stops for her return to the limelight, but insisted that her son came first.

Explaining the mum-of-one's take on the situation, an insider said: "This will be a proper world tour to all corners of the globe. But it's important Angelo goes everywhere with her, so her priority was he could have a nanny situation where he could do that. She is satisfied that that is the case so she's putting plans in place."

Shut up and take our money!

It has been reported that Adele and her boyfriend Simon Konecki are no longer living together. The couple, who have a two-year-old son together, have reportedly been seeing less and less of one another, according to The Sun on Sunday

Although it is alleged that Simon has moved back to the apartment he lived in before moving in with the superstar, it has not been officially confirmed that this marks a split for the couple, as a source told the paper: “It isn’t clear if they’ve officially split, but they are certainly not living together anymore. Simon is back at his bachelor pad. It doesn’t bode well for the relationship.”

Adele is notoriously private about her personal life, especially when it comes to her son, Angelo, who’s name was never officially released after his birth in 2012. The singer has been away from the public eye for some time now, and famously turned down Bob Geldof’s request to take part in this year’s Band Aid 30 single. Adele and her partner were also absent for Elton John’s wedding to David Furnish last week, with Elton posting a photo of her letter of regret at not being able to attend.

The perfect end to the perfect day. So many kind thoughts and wishes. #ShareTheLove

In the photo, Adele’s letter is signed by “Adele, Simon and Angelo” so perhaps the couple are just taking some time apart to figure things out.

It has been reported that Adele has rejected an offer to be involved with Bob Geldof’s Band Aid 30 Ebola charity song.

Bob told The Sun that the powerful singer has not gotten back to him: “Adele is doing nothing. She’s not answering the phone…she doesn’t want to be bothered by anyone. She won’t even pick up the phone to her manager. She’s bringing up a family, you know. Some people just don’t want to do it.”

However, Bob also said that 30th anniversary single of the original Band Aid song will feature some massive talent: “There are voices here that are at least parallel to Adele. Sam Smith is her male equivalent.”

According to reports, Adele did give a donation towards the initiative.

Will we EVER get to hear Adele’s amazing voice with new music?!
