Beyoncé’s sister Solange has sparked engagement rumours after posting some very happy snaps of her and her long term boyfriend Alan Ferguson to Instagram with the caption: “Today couldn’t have been more perfect. I couldn’t have smiled harder. Thank you for all of your lovely and wonderful wishes.

“They warmed my heart and I simply feel grateful for all of the love.”

The singer could have been referring to her birthday celebrations, but a source said: “Solange Knowles and her longtime boyfriend Alan Ferguson got engaged last night. The two have been dating now for almost 5 years.”

We hope it’s true – the Knowles family could certainly do with some good news!
