The Script have been enjoying some well-needed time off, but we'll be honest, we were missing their tracks popping up on the charts.

Well, we won't have to wait much longer as the band have announced that they're back in the studio and ready to record a new album. Hurrah!

The last album they released was nearly two years ago, back in September 2014, and it reached number one across the UK and Ireland.

Guitarist Mark Sheehan announced the great news on Instagram yesterday, with a picture of the boys setting up behind him.

Just this week it was reported that Jay Z was in the middle of recording a response album to Beyonce's Lemonade, but now, Billboard has discovered that Jay and Bey nearly released a full-length album together.

According to Billboard, the album came about while the couple were touring for On The Run in 2014.

An insider says they "nearly finished" the probably-amazing album when their label allegedly stopped the project from moving forward.

However, a rep from Sony Records told the website that that simply wasn't the case, and the label is very "open to" it.

Hmmm, we're not sure who is telling the fibs here but before you hold a wake for the album that never was, there still might be hope of it being released.

The source said that the album will probably be released in the near future, after the hype from Lemonade cools down. Yes!

If this album does see the light of day soon, we'll be very happy campers.

It seems that Rihanna could be finally releasing her brand new album Anti within the next couple days, according to Billboard.

The singer teased fans on social media earlier this week by saying she was listening to the album. So, now everyone could be listening to the music very, very soon.

The album was supposed to be released last year, and RiRi even quit the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show to finish it. 

Rihanna's Anti World Tour is set to begin in exactly one month so expect to hear all the new songs on the tour. We're excited!

JB overload? Not at all, sure he's pulling the same stint as Beyoncé did for her self-titled album in 2013​. (Hey, if there's anyone to take career cues from, it's definitely Queen Bey.)

The videos were released in the exact same order as Purpose's 13 tracks and each vid makes up a small part of a larger project – Purpose: The Movement.

It's been 15 years since Britney's second studio album, Oops!… I Did It Again, was released.

And considering her two sons Sean Preston and Jayden James are only nine and eight respectively, they're too young to remember what a massive hit it was: it reached No.1 in 15 countries and to date has sold 24million copies – making it one of the best-selling albums of the decade.

But on Saturday, Ms Spears took her two boys on a trip down memory lane – recreating the iconic album cover at Disneyland, where the trio were spending the fourth of July weekend.

"The boys and I doing our best #Oops album cover pose!" the 33-year-old posted to Instagram along with the relevant snap.

Britney was dressed down for the occasion, wearing grey shorts and a comfortable floral top along with runners. 

In an earlier photograph, the singer had wished her fans a "happy 4th of July from the happiest place on earth #Disneyland!!"

Sean and Jayden, along with Ms Spears’s seven-year-old niece Maddie, have all worked her before too: they made music video cameos in Work Bitch and Ooh La La, the latter of which featured on The Smurfs 2 soundtrack.

The star is shortly returning to Las Vegas to continue her run of successful shows there, and is evidently making the most of her down-time.

The Piece Of Me concerts kick-off again on August 5 at Planet Hollywood, and continue into next year. She began her residency in December 2013 and performs 50 shows a year for a €13.6m fee.

Britney is also geared up to release her ninth studio album at some stage in 2015, although the exact date has yet to be announced.

As the first solo song from her forthcoming eight studio album, the accompany video was always going to demand LOTS of attention.

But was anyone expecting quite so much blood and boobs??

Less than 48hours ago, Rihanna – well-able to cause controversy at the best of times – unveiled the B***h Better Have My Money video… and it's already notched up close-to 10million views.

Ri-Ri, 27, went behind the cameras too for the shoot – directing the action herself.

And apparently (are we surprised?) the songstress also came up with the concept: a bad-ass gang kidnapping a wealthy woman from her apartment, then taking her to a warehouse and motel where they torture and torment her because they want ransom cash. 

The video concludes with a shot of the Grammy Award-winner, naked and covered in blood and lying on a trunk filled with cash.

The song itself, which boasts Kanye West as a producer, has garnered considerable air-time since being released in March, and no doubt the video is about to get a seriously epic amount of attention too.

In the opening scenes, the soon-to-be kidnapped wealthy lady strolls around her apartment in a see-through bra (as you do):

 

But even a see-through bra is too much for Ri-Ri – the kidnapped woman is stripped naked and bungled into a car:

 

The songstress even engages in a spot of torture – with the wealthy woman sporting a metallic grill (no, we don't know either):

You may have thought news of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s joint tour On The Run was the biggest news of 2014, but it looks as if 2015 is set to be even bigger for the couple!

The couple’s producer, Noel Fisher has revealed that they will be releasing an album together – how exciting!

Still not convinced? Noel, also known as Detail, added: “When you think of Jay and Bey together, you think ‘album’. You should already know.” That’s us sold!

The couple, and Detail won the Best R&B performance Grammy this weekend for Drunk In Love with Queen Bey also taking home an award for Best Song and Best Surround Sound Album.

The superstar also performed at the Grammy awards, blowing the audience away with her rendition of Take My Hand Precious Lord. 

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s collaboration on Drunk In Love proved that these two can do pretty amazing things together so we cannot wait to hear this album!

The sound of 2015? Oh, we think so!

Oh Taylor, just when you think you can’t surprise us anymore, you tell us that you stalk your fans.

The singer, who is eagerly awaiting the release of her new album, 1989, was speaking to BBC America about her secret listening sessions, saying: “I would go online and would look at their Instagram pages, or their Twitter or their Tumblr or whatever and I just kind of watched them for months and months.”

We love how we can just imagine Taylor sitting in her room with Meredith and Olivia, watching Law & Order and stalking her fans – amazing. 

The singer was also forced to explain why her most recent single from the album, Out of the Woods, wasn't made available on iTunes UK, taking to her Tumblr account and writing: 

"To all my wonderful UK fans, I realise that you are not able to get ‘Out of the Woods’ due to a new strategy my record is working on it the UK. I’ve never been one to hold my music back from any of you so I will be watching closely to see of this is ultimately a better experience for you, the fans.”

Taylor went on to say that her bestie Ed Sheeran had done something similar: “My good friend Ed Sheeran utilised the same strategy with’One’ in the UK and he seemed very happy with the feedback from his fans. But ultimately, it’s down to you. Let me know.”

Hilary Duff has left fans upset and disappointed after she announced her first album in seven years has been delayed. 

The All About You singer took to Twitter to announce the news, writing: “Guys hate to break this news but the album won’t be out in October… You will have to wait a few more months. Love all the excitement tho.”

Judging by the reaction the news got, Hilary has some very loyal fans out there who are just dying to hear her new music!

The news comes after her new single, Chasing the Sun, was released back in July, giving her fans a taste of what is to come.

Ed Sheeran has also been deeply involved in the album, which has us sold already!

The British singer says that Hilary’s upcoming album is “not what they will expect” going on to say that she has definitely left the Lizzie McGuire days behind: “Obviously she comes from Lizzie McGuire and that pop world, but she’s more grown up now, so it’s more of an adult alternative acoustic sound.”

All of this hype is getting us more excited than we ever thought we would be…!

Yikes, doesn’t sound like Professor Green should get on Robbie Williams’ bad side…any more than he already has, at least!

When Professor Green mentioned Robbie’s 2006 album, Rudebox, in one of his songs, surely he wasn’t expecting Robbie to take it well.

Needless to say, he did not, and left Pro Green a very angry voicemail which the rapper has now sampled on his new album Growing Up In Public.

Robbie can be heard in the voicemail saying: “Green, it’s Robbie Williams. I’ve just heard your album. Listen, A, keep my name out of your mouth, B, why do you have to go and mention Rudebox. It was a pretty sh**** time of my life. And C, C it’s f*** you, Green.”

Er, we’re not so sure that will help the situation much…

It has been reported that the drama between Rita Ora and her ex-boyfriend, Calvin Harris, isn’t over yet!

Apparently, Calvin isn’t allowing Rita to use a number of tracks they made together on her new album.

A source told The Sun: “Rita’s album has hit a bit of a road block after Calvin pulled all of the songs he had worked on for the project before they split. He’d made a lot of songs for her but they’re now likely to go to other artists.”

There is said to be around a dozen songs on Rita's upcoming album that Calvin has now decided won't be appearing.

Lily Allen has definitely ruffled some showbiz feathers with her latest album Sheezus – but it seems she has a surprise fan in Rihanna!

Lily said she sent RiRi the album last month to have a listen to, and claims the Rude Boy singer found it “hilarious”.

“I sent Rihanna Sheezus a month ago,” Lily said. “She loved it, thought it was hilarious. She said, ‘Maybe don’t send it to Gaga.’”

With lyrics like – ‘We’re all watching Gaga, LOL, like haha, Dying for the art so, really, she’s a martyr’ – we’d have to agree with Ri-Ri there!
