If your week needed a pick-me-up, we have what you're looking for.

And this pick-me-up looks like Christmas, smells like gin and represents pure unadulterated joy.

As of November 12, Aldi Ireland will be selling gin-filled baubles.

In the run-up to Christmas, Pickering’s Gin Baubles, which come in a handy pack of six, will be on sale in 129 Aldi stores nationwide, and they'll only set you back a measly €26.99!

However, if you're all about the novelty gin accessories, but fear for the quality of the spirit, rest assured you're in good hands with Pickering's, which is a multi-award winning gin, hand crafted at Summerhill Distillery – the first exclusive gin distillery to be established in Edinburgh for over 150 years.

Now back to the baubles!

In the months leading up to Christmas, the team at Pickering’s forage amongst ancient juniper trees, then fill, cap, ribbon, pack and wrap every single bauble with gin.

Each bauble is filled with 5cl of Pickering’s Classic “Red Top Gin”, which is best served with tonic water and a slice of pink grapefruit.

Happy Christmas, ladies!

Oh, and one more thing while we have you! Don't forget that you can catch up on all your favourite shows for free for a month right here, so sign up now!

So, there's no doubt that Ireland is going through somewhat of a gin renaissance at the moment.

Whether it's an elderflower G&T or a classic martini, everyone has their favourite way to enjoy the spirit of the moment.

With so many options available on the market, it can be hard to know what to go for, but lucky for us, that decision just got a whole lot easier.

Aldi's exclusive Boyle's Gin has just scooped up two awards at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in London.

Judged on its type, age and strength, Boyle's Premium Small Batch Irish Gin was awarded two silver medals – one in the Gin (London Dry – 40%) only competition, and one in the Gin & Tonic Competition.

Finbar McCarthy, Group Buying Director at Aldi Ireland said: “The International Wine & Spirits Competition recognises and pays tribute to the very finest products, so we are delighted to see our very own Boyle’s Gin win two very deserved awards.”

“It has been said that Ireland is experiencing somewhat of a gin revolution at the moment, and we’re very proud to be amongst those leading the way, with a top-quality gin at a very affordable price.”

The gin products entered into the competition were also given the opportunity to enter the Gin & Fever Tree Tonic category where an expert panel of judges then blind tasted each pairing and assessed them on how well they went together.

To ensure total fairness, each G&T comprised of one part gin and three parts tonic and no ice or garnish were used.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to have won two silver awards at the International Wine & Spirits Competition this week,” said Peter Mulryan, Director of Blackwater Distillery in Waterford.

“There is an abundance of great gin distillers throughout Ireland at the moment, and so to have our product highlighted on an international stage is a massive achievement for us. Working with Aldi has been a hugely positive experience for us as they know what their customers want, and that’s crucial to creating a successful product.”

Named after Robert Boyle of Lismore Castle, Boyle’s Gin is sold exclusively in Aldi stores priced at €24.99.

But get there quick, this stuff will surely fly off the shelves.

There's nothing better than sprucing up your home with a few new decorations, but sometimes even a mini renovation can leave your wallet pretty empty.

Luckily, Aldi is stepping up for summer with their new Coastal homeware collection, and while being perfectly seasonal it doesn't pull too hard on the purse strings.

The key to the coastal look is all about keeping it simple, and the collection reflects that with a natural soft blue, white and cream palette that echoes the colours of water, sand and summer skies.

The entire collection will be available in all Aldi stores from Thursday, June 15, while stocks last.

Cushions €9.99

 Candle €4.99

 Candles €4.99 each

 Glass lanterns €8.99

 Cushions €9.99 each

As much as we love a glass of Prosecco on a night out, there's nothing better than sitting at home with a steaming cuppa tea (and biscuits, of course).

However, now that the festive spirit of Christmas is truly in the air, Aldi (yep, ALDI) has created a seasonal concoction that you're either going to love or hate.

Presenting Prosecco-flavoured tea bags.

Yes, it sounds completely strange, but we're totally loving it.

Aldi describe its new creation as "a vibrant festive taste with an invigorating Italian Prosecco profile."

We'll raise a mug to that...

The tea bags are decaffeinated and non-alcoholic, so you can get all of that fab Prosecco flavour with none of the side effects.

We'd say these babies are going to be snatched up fast!

After years of watching our mothers fall on an icy G&T with the same excitement we reserved for a white Magnum, we suddenly realised what all the fuss was about.

And after graduating from warm cans of cider and flat beer, we discovered gin… and never looked back.

And while some SHEmazing! HQ  ladies – who shall remain nameless – consider themselves total connoisseurs, it turns out they’re not as clued-up as they think when it comes to what makes a great gin.

Thankfully for us, however, Aldi definitely is.

Boyle’s Premium Small Batch Irish Gin, which will be sold exclusively in Aldi stores nationwide as of today, has just won the coveted Best Irish Gin Award at the Irish Whiskey Awards 2016.

Commenting on the selection process, the judging panel said: ““Every year we see more and more releases in the Irish craft gin sector.”

“The quality of some of these products is outstanding and it demonstrates the skills of the new breeds of distillers around Ireland. Made by Blackwater Distillery in Waterford, our judges were impressed by Boyle’s fruitiness and balance.”

Coming in at €24.99, we’re stocking up and celebrating the Bank Holiday weekend in style.

For anyone who loves (or wants to start loving) juicing, a bullet-style blender is the way to go.

All you do is chop, fill, blend and go – what could be simpler at 7am when you're still rubbing sleep from your eyes, debating whether you have time to wash your hair?

Sadly for our pockets though, the oft-championed NutriBullet doesn't exactly come cheap, starting at upwards of €85 depending on where you purchase it.

So we are downright shaking with excitement for the launch of Aldi's new smoothie and juice blender, which hits shelves next week.

The Nutrient Blender has a 700W motor (more than the standard NutriBullet's 600W), comes with a large 700ml cup, two smaller 350ml ones, two travel lids and a variety of blade attachments.

The best part? It retails at just €39.99. WIN.

Aldi's original smoothie maker/juicer, released back in October, also flew off the shelves – and while this one is slightly pricier, it's also heaps more powerful than the original 300W motored one.

Aldi confirmed today that the blender (available in gunmetal grey, champagne or red) will be available in stores from next Thursday February 18, which gives you just over a week to bribe someone to camp outside the store with a sleeping bag all night.

Okay, you don't quite need to go to those lengths, but we do recommend getting to your local Aldi early on as these are bound to sell out.

Since John Lewis released its Christmas advert earlier this month, there have been quite a few other retailers who've dared to try and compete.

Not Aldi, though. The food giant obviously realised that there's no topping an ad that made almost 18million people cry.

Instead, the folks over there decided to have some fun. Aldi's new Christmas ad shows the Man On The Moon – who we all teared up at thanks to John Lewis – choosing between two telescopes to check out planet Earth with.

One, a John Lewis telescope, has a price tag of £109.95 (€156) while the other, an Aldi version, is just £69.99 (€99).

See what they did there? From the sad piano music to the sad old man, everything is on point.

Watch and prepare to giggle.

We’ve been idolising compact, rocket-style blenders for some time now.

They’re small, perfect for juicing and blending (hello, September detox) and super quick and easy to use.

A load of different models are available, but leading the way is, of course, the NutriBullet: the fancy-pants contraption (the manufacturers say it’s not a blender or processor but rather a “superfood nutrition extractor”) that boasts a load of celebrity endorsements.

The only issue? The €130 price-tag has always been a little out of our reach.

Which is why we reckon we’ve now died and gone to juicing heaven: Aldi is tomorrow morning releasing (unreasonable to start queuing now?) its very own mini food processor priced at just… €22.99.

We scoured the small print – and power-wise it comes in at 300W versus the NutriBullet’s 600W. So nope, definitely not as powerful.

But at more than €100 cheaper, we’re still absurdly excited about releasing our culinary potential in the run-up to Christmas.

Because when you’re not downing glasses of obliterated kale, the Aldi model is also pretty great for making salsa, hummus, pesto and dips.

It comes with two stainless steel blades to make chopping and blending a doddle. For your €22.99, you’ll furthermore get four small 260ml cups, two larger 473ml cups, six storage lids and another lid for shakes or smoothies.

In short: from tomorrow you too can be one of those smug, healthy types who skip to work and college proudly brandishing a beaker of fresh, home-made power liquid.

Yup, we’re envisioning us looking much more like a Victoria’s Secret model over forthcoming weeks and months.

And while we might quietly covet the NutriBullet in our spare time, we reckon this version will do us nicely until an unexpected cash-windfall comes our way.

Thank you, Aldi!

The mini food processor is priced at €22.99 and is available from Aldi’s 117 stores nationwide from tomorrow, Thursday, September 10, while stocks last.
