My love for Gilmore Girls knows no bounds. Once I entered the world of Stars Hollow there was no going back.

The show introduced me to the love of my life Jess Mariano and has engraved the lyrics to Carole King’s Where You Lead in my mind forever.

It also taught me some of the most wonderful life lessons that I will always carry with me.

This too shall pass:

Queen Gilmore herself taught me the most valuable lesson out of all the show’s ladies. During the revival series Emily moved me to tears as she dealt with life without her beloved husband. Throughout the four episodes we see her deal with Richard’s death (which I will never ever get over) and make huge lifestyle changes. Emily showed me that the dark days will make you a better, stronger and truer version of yourself.

Coffee makes everything better:

I am convinced that Gilmore Girls has strengthened my love for coffee. I can’t go a day without drinking a cup of jo. I turn into a little gremlin when I don’t have my daily dose. Lorelai guzzles up mug after mug of coffee, but I don’t think I’ve reached her level just yet. If only my local cafe offered free coffee refills like Luke’s Diner does.

Don’t let anyone stop you from pursuing your dream:

I will never ever be happy with Lane’s ending. She deserved so much better than the disappointing storyline she had in the revival episodes. Mrs Kim and her strict rules terrified me, so I’m not surprised Lane fled the nest when her mum stopped her from following her dreams. I felt so proud of Lane when she moved out of her family home and showed us that nobody should hold you back from doing what you love.

Hep Alein were EVERYTHING

Find your happy place:

Gilmore Girls always makes me feel warm because of the homey feel it gives off. Every character on the show seems to have their own happy place; a spot that makes them feel cosy and safe. For Luke it’s the diner that his dad owned. For Rory it’s the library. For Lane it’s behind the drums. For Suki it’s the kitchen. Gilmore Girls showed me that having that go-to place is essential especially on those dull, dreary days when the world is getting you down.

Your mum is your best friend for life:

Lorelai Gilmore is my spirit animal. I admire her passion, her spirit and her undying love for 80s pop culture (My heart bursts with joy whenever she mentions the Brat Pack.) Lorelai and Rory’s relationship is the thing I loved about the show the most. We all argue with our mums from time to time, whether that’s over forgetting to take the washing in when the rain is pouring down or over harsh words you regret saying in the heat of the moment.

The Gilmore girls certainly went through their fair share of ups and downs, but their bond always remained strong. The show reminded me of just how lucky I am to have a close relationship with my mam.

Oy with the poodles already!

The time is nearly here for the Girlmore Girls revival to hit our Netflix screens, but it looks like Alexis Bledel just spilled a major spoiler.

The 35-year-old was speaking to Us Weekly and accidentally revealed which one of Rory's boys she won't be getting back together with.

Spilling the beans that Rory and Dean only have one scene together, she said: "It was great working with him again.

"He's always so affable and friendly, and he's got this great energy. Our scene was so fun to film. It was great to work with him again."

Only copping on to what she said, Alexis exclaimed: "I guess I just said that! So oops!"

With only 14 days left, we're so excited to see what happens.

Well, they kept that quiet.

Gilmore Girls star Alexis Bledel has welcomed her first child with husband Vincent Kartheiser.

The couple married in a very private ceremony in California last year, after meeting three years ago when Alexis starred in the series Mad Men.

And they've done it again, keeping their pregnancy and birth incredibly quiet, it is said that Alexis had the baby sometime in Autumn 2015.

Her GG co-star Scott Patterson letting the cat out of the bag in an interview with Glamour.

"It was great to see her. She's really blossomed as a woman and now she's a proud new mother and married and happy."

We're delighted for the happy couple and what good timing as well, just in time to catch the new series of the hit show.

Every day it seems like more news is rolling in about the upcoming Gilmore Girls revival, and after TWO of our favourite characters (Jess and Dean) confirmed less than 24 hours apart that they'd be returning, we felt it was time to do a round up of what we know so far.

Here goes…

All of Rory's love interests will be making a return
Matt Czuchry was the first to confirm he'd be reprising his role as Logan, Rory's Yale boyfriend. Then, just yesterday, Milo Ventimiglia revealed he'd be back as bad boy Jess, with Jared Paladecki (Dean) following suit this morning.

No news yet on how much airtime each boyfriend will receive, but we have our money on a Rory-Jess reunion.

In fact, the majority of your old favourites will be back for the revival
As well as Lorelai and Rory (obvz), we'll also get to see Liza Weil (Paris), Kelly Bishop (Emily), Sean Gunn (Kirk), Scott Patterson (Luke), Keiko Agena (Lane), Yanic Truesdale (Michel) and David Sutcliffe (Christopher) making a return. Sadly Rory's grandfather, played by Edward Herrmann, won't be back, as he passed away just last year aged 71.

There's one big name who isn't on board, though
The world's chirpiest chef – and Lorelai's BFF – Sookie doesn't seem to be making a return for the revival, despite producer Amy Sherman-Palladino saying she'd love to have her back.

Actress Melissa McCarthy has since gone on to have huge success with roles in Bridesmaids, Mike & Molly, St Vincent and Spy, and claimed in a tweet last month that she was never asked to return.

However Palladino is quoted as saying she'd happily write in a part. "Look, if Melissa is available and has an afternoon free, I'll write her a scene. Melissa was one of us. If she has a spare moment to run over [to the set] — even if for just a cameo — we would be totally game," she said.

Do we sense some bad blood?

We won't be getting a full season of episodes
It's been strongly rumoured that the revival will take the form of four 90-minute episodes, each representing three months of the same year at Star's Hollow. But we're holding out hope for more than that,

Filming has already begun
Eeek! As early as last month, cast members were tweeting about being back on set – we're already giddy with excitement.

As yet there's no airdate, but with filming underway we can surely expect to be watching the new episodes by this autumn.

We might finally get to find out those elusive four words
Palladino was not called back to write the original final season of Gilmore Girls back in 2007, and says it didn't quite end how she would have liked, with the "four words" she had always planned to end the show with.

"I hoped maybe there would have been a call – ‘Hey, it’s the last episode. Do you want to come back?’ – and there wasn’t. That’s the way it works in Hollywood; there are rules," she said in an interview last year.

Here's hoping we finally get to find out what's what.

We have brought you news that the Gilmore Girls are making a triumphant return to our screens though it didn't really feel REAL, you know?

Until now that is!

Star of the show, Lauren Graham has confirmed that they currently shooting for the new series in a tweet yesterday.

Yep, it is definitely happening.

Three months back, Netflix closed a deal with Warner Bros. for a limited-series revival of Gilmore Girls written by series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino.

Additionally reports suggested that revival would consist of  90-minute episodes. Which is practically the length of a film. So really, we’re getting four Gilmore Girls films! Kind of, but it’s exciting to think of it that way.

But in a cool twist, the show's creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino has revealed that the four parts will take place over a year, with each episode set during a different season.

A contract dispute with Warner Bros back in 2006 meant that Amy had to bow out of writing the show's final season, and so she never got to create the perfect ending for Lorelai and Rory.

Until now that is!

No word on the release date yet, but we will keep you posted.

What a great surprise for one of our favourite stars. Alexis Bledel – a.k.a Rory Gilmore – is reportedly pregnant with her first child.

According to Celebuzz, the actress and her husband Vincent Kartheiser, who plays Pete Campbell in Mad Men, are expecting a baby.

A source told the website that they are "very happy about the news" but "they don't want a lot of people to know."

The couple married in a very private ceremony last year, so it's no surprise they want to keep their news a secret.

"Only close friends and family know about the baby. [Vincent} is trying to keep it quiet," said the source.

The two met over three years when Alexis guest-starred in a few episodes of Mad Men, where she seduced Vincent's character in the show.

Gilmore Girls fans the world over got some amazing news last week when it was revealed the much-loved show would be returning to our screens.

Now we have a few more details about the upcoming Netflix revival, and it sounds like it's going to be a winner.

As previously reported, the sequels will take the form of four 90-minute long episodes.

But in a cool twist, the show's creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino has revealed that the four parts will take place over a year, with each episode set during a different season.

Maybe for the summer episode we'll see the return of Rory as the Ice Cream Queen?

And of course there will have to be some kind of autumn festival to showcase Star's Hollow at its prettiest.

Amy and her husband Dan will write and direct the GG revival, and though it's yet to be revealed who will star, Lauren Graham (Lorelai) certainly seems interested:

A contract dispute with Warner Bros back in 2006 meant that Amy had to bow out of writing the show's final season, and so she never got to create the perfect ending for Lorelai and Rory.

But even after all this time she says there's plenty of inspiration.

"The beauty of Gilmore, and the beauty of family-relationship shows, is you never really run out of story,” she told Entertainment Weekly.

"Ten years later, there’s still going to be [material] there to mine and to delve into."

Brace yourselves Gilmore Girls fans!

Sources are confirm that Netflix has closed a deal with Warner Bros. for a limited-series revival of Gilmore Girls written by series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino.

Negotiations with the cast are only now beginning, but according to TV Line most of the series major stars are set to be returning. Most notably Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop and Scott Patterson. Hurrah!

Additionally the website reports multiple insider sources are saying the revival will consist of  90-minute episodes. Which is practically the length of a film. So really, we’re getting four Gilmore Girls films! Kind of, but it’s exciting to think of it that way.

The deal allows Amy — who left the original series prior to the last season as a result of a contract dispute with Warner Bros. — to end Gilmore Girls in the way she had always imagined.

Over the summer when the cast and creator of the series reunited at the ATX Festival, she addressed the possibility of a revival for the series.

“It would have to be the right everything — the right format, the right timing,” she said. “If it ever happened, I promise we’ll do it correctly.”

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly in 2009, Amy remained hopeful that she would get to conclude the Gilmore story on her terms, either through a film or a shorter series.

“The beauty of Gilmore, and the beauty of family-relationship shows, is you never really run out of story,” she said.

“You’re going to battle your family until you’re all in the ground.

"Those things never resolve, doesn’t matter how much therapy you get. Ten years later, there’s still going to be [material] there to mine and to delve into.”

Did we mention we are feeling very excited about this, because we are.

Gilmore Girls fans could be delighted to know that a film version of the hit show could be a possibility.

Actress, Lauren Graham who played Lorelai Gilmore on the show was on reddit discussing the release of her new book Someday, Someday, Maybe.

Fans of course were more interested to know what it was like to work on the noughties show.

Lauren said she loved working on the show and that she will always have a special bond with actress Alexis Bledel who played Lorelai’s daughter Rory on the show.

But when asked if there could be a Gilmore Girls film, Lauren said: “If a movie version could be as good as we’d all want it to be, I’d love to play that character again.”

But fans shouldn’t think about booking tickets just yet, as the actress said she doesn’t know if there would be a film but definitely wants to know what happened to Lorelai’s character.
