This comes as a bit of a shocker… well a double shocker really!

Spanish actor, Antonio Banderas, is heading back to college.

But wait for it… He is attending a course for FASHION. Hmmm, we were pretty taken aback by that one.

Central Saint Martin, one of the most famous fashion schools in the world, has welcomed Antonio, 55, on to its books. 

The Mask Of Zorro actor made the announcement on his Instagram account yesterday.

In the snap he is seen leaning on a bunch of mannequins with the accompanying caption: "The second week of studies at Central St Martin begins. Intense, exciting, serious and fun all at the same time."

He also took to day-time TV show Loose Women to discuss his newfound passion for fashion.

"It's something that has been on my mind for a long time. Central Saint Martins is probably one of the best schools in the world and so I am going to start studying with them."

"It makes me feel actually very young to put the elbows on the table again and try to understand another reality. Of course, I won't stop my professional life, I'll continue acting, directing, but this is a new thing."

Antonio will be following in the footsteps of many major fashion icons including, Alexander McQueen, Stella Mc Cartney and John Galliano.
