Look, we love our dogs as much as the next person, but we've never really harboured any interest in seeing what our offspring might look like.

Because, you know, that's a bit, well, vomit-inducing.

Unfortunately for the viewers of The Late Late Show with James Corden, recent guest, Jennifer Lawrence, actually has considered it, and she's only dying to see it turned into an app.

Communicating her idea to James and the studio audience, Jennifer said: "My idea for an app is an app where you see what you and your dog's baby would look like."

"It's all in the details. It has to be very real," she added.

After revealing that people have actually pursued the idea on her behalf, the Passengers star admitted she wasn't quite impressed with the result.

"They sent me one prototype that's like me with dog ears and a snout and I'm like 'No.' It all about the features," she insisted.

If you say so, Jen.

'It is linking social media and shopping, specifically in the beauty space," Jennifer told the Coffee with Dani podcast.

"If someone wears something, it's quite easy to find out where they got it from; but if you're using products for your face or your hair, it's really difficult to know exactly what eye shadow you're wearing, or what mascara, or if your hair always looks amazing and you've got a specific tool that you use," she explained.

"It allows celebrities, bloggers, makeup artists to upload what they use, and then you can buy it within the app," she added.

The app is also for people who are thinking about buying that new blusher, but want to see it on someone first. Metix will allow beauty junkies to essentially try before they buy and get recommendations.

The launch date is November 22nd, so keep your eye on the app store for its big reveal.

Ah… rich kids. There's nothing like them, huh?

From lavish holidays to customised cars that cost more than houses, you'd have to win the lotto to keep up with them.

But now, it looks like an app is giving them inspiration of how to be more flashy… and we just can't deal.

Aptly named Rich Kids, the €1012-a-month app is exclusively for teens and young adults who like to share their purchases and boast about it online.

The photo-sharing app is inspired by the Instagram account of the same name and helps its users "discover and be inspired by the real rich and famous."

VOM.

However, apparently Apple vommed as well because according to The Memo, they banned it for being "inapproprate."

The creators of Rich Kids released a statement saying they weren't breaking any of Apple's rules, but the tech company basically just wanted nothing to do with them.

Now, we all know that a little gloat on Instagram is common practice, but putting up a paywall? Nah, don't think so.

You’re scrolling through Instagram, find the outfit of your dreams, but by the time you’ve rounded up all of its deets you’ve totally lost interest.

If this situation sounds familiar, listen up, as Instagram is about to launch a new feature which will allow users to shop directly from the app.

Until now, third-party sites like LiketoKnow.it have been the only way to buy products semi-directly through the ‘gram, but soon the image sharing platform will begin testing a new shoppable posts feature.

According to Harper’s Bazaar, these shoppable posts will contain a “tap to view” icon which will produce a tag with information about the product involved when tapped.

Once a tag is selected, a more detailed view of the product will open which then leads to a “Shop Now” button.

To begin with, the feature will be tested on 20 brands and will only be available to users in the States.

If it’s successful, we could all be shopping while scrolling in the near future.

You know the way our camera roll is jammers with snaps, and like divils we still don’t get them printed? Well there’s a simple way to clear our photos and give ourselves back some much needed storage space – hallelujah!

The Harvey Norman Photo Centre IE App makes it easy and breezy to print our photos straight from our phone, our Facebook or our Insta – and when we’ve done that, they’ll arrive straight to our door.

The Harvey Norman Photo Centre IE App is free to download and is available on iTunes. It’s designed to be used with ease on an iPhone or iPad, so you can pretty much do it anywhere.

If safe to say that when we're in the comfort of our own home (and alone, obvs), we crank up the music, grab a hairbrush, and sing to our fave tunes 'til our heart's content.

It's one of the best things to do, and we even sometimes find ourselves looking into our mirrors and pretending we're in the 3Arena.

Well, now there's a new social media site that has been created for doing just that – and it's actually making people famous.

Musical.ly lets users create short videos where they can lip-sync, dance or even just mess around to the sound of their favourite tunes or movie scenes, and then upload their videos to an Instagram-like feed.

It also has an entire category dedicated to TV shows and Disney movies (yaaas!).

The site has exploded in the UK and people are even getting noticed abroad for their video clips.

Essex-based Amelia Gething told The Guardian that when she was on holiday with her family this summer, a woman came up to her and asked, "Are you on Musical.ly? My daughters recognised you but they're too shy to say hello."

Amelia's videos have earned her 600,000 followers on the app and her Instagram followers have gone up from 700 to more than 90,000.

So if you fancy being a popstar, this could be the way to go!

We'll admit, it can be super annoying when somebody doesn't know 'their' from 'there' or 'your' from 'you're'.

And if you're just fed up with your mates sending you messages filled with errors, your dreams have now been answered.

A new app has just been launched that will let you correct any text message sent to you with grammar mistakes in it.

Called Grammar Snob, the iOS 10 sticker app will make you feel like a school teacher as you can scribble in red ink and point out any grammatical errors in a text or email.

However, you'll have to pay €1 for it (boo), but it means you might soon be able to live without rolling your eyes up to heaven at every Tinder bio you read.

There's certainly no stopping Pippa O Connor.

The mum-of-two has just released a second book and now she's revealed her new app is ready to go.

The author shared the news on her Facebook page, writing: "I'm so excited to launch my new App where I'll be sharing lots of exclusive content.

"It's been months in the making so I hope you love it just as much as I do!"

And we have to say, it looks pretty slick.

Fair play, Pippa.

While you might think Hollywood’s elite must have a fleet of limos on standby should they wish to venture past their own front doors, a new series of snaps by Kim Kardashian West has revealed that that’s not exactly the case.

As it turns out, Kim’s younger sister Kendall is as reliant on the popular taxi hailing app Uber as the rest of us, but unfortunately for the star Uber is not quite as fond of her as she is of it.

Yesterday Kim used Snapchat to complain that she had been left driving the Vogue cover girl around because Uber had banned Kendall from using its services.

While snapping from a car, Kim filmed Kendall asking Uber why they had banned her as the model displayed the failing Uber app on her phone.

Kim then said: “Yeah, she’s suspended, this is not fair…We just want to know, why was Kendall suspended?  Because she’s like a model passenger.”

With her pun fun out of the way, the mother of two then complained that she’d been forced to drive her sister around in the middle of the night which she was sure to stress was a major inconvenience because she herself had a spray tan session she just had to get to.

Uber has since told the Daily News that the young reality star “has not been banned” and that the problem was caused by “a minor account issue” which has since been resolved.

Well, thank God for that!

It's safe to say PokémonGo has taken over the world in just a few short weeks.

Kids and celebs alike are playing the game, but with 150 different Pokémon to catch, sometimes the chances are slim.

Unless you have the Irish start-up app, Mawla.

The Dublin-made app is after putting together a series of maps in order to help people find their Pokémon.

Explaining how it works, the app's developer Dan Malone said: "We speak directly with the PokémonGo servers.

"We pretend to be an app and to be in a certain location and they say 'oh you're an app, in Stephen's Green! There's x,y,z Pokémon around you!'

"The way I get the coverage of the areas that I have is by creating a grid of overlapping rings an slowly walking out from the centre to a radius I've defined."

Mawla has been rolling out since PokémonGo was released, and so far, Dan said the fans are unbelievable.

"The reception has been incredible, I've had 180,000 visits to my website in one week. It's been great overall."

Move over Kim K, it's Gary Beadle's turn to tamper with our texts as he sets out to make his mark on the weird and wonderful world of emojis.

The original Geordie Shore cast member has created his very own set of mobile friendly images that are now available for purchase through the Gazmoji app which – despite having only been launched last night – has already hit the number one spot on the App Store's list of top paid entertainment apps.

And if you though the Kimojis were NSFW, wait until you see what Gaz has to offer.

The Newcastle native told The Sun: "I wanted to make a new app that my followers will use and also get to number 1.  I don’t think anyone else in the UK has launched their own emojis so I just thought, why not?”

“The app star made us delete some more of the graphic Gazmojis but I think we have got away with quite a lot."  You think?

The Gazmojis – which are available for €0.99 on the Apple App Store – are very obviously inspired by Gary’s own life with jagerbombs, parsnips and his controversial white powdered Ferrari key all making the cut.

The reality star also told The Sun that "every single swear word" he uses is included in the graphic collection.

This isn't Gary's first attempt at breaking into the app business as he previously launched the Gazzd app which played Geordie catch phrases for its users, but so far it does seem to be his most popular venture.

Not only has the Gazmoji app topped the app charts, Gaz's colourful creations are also getting a whole lot of attention on Twitter.

It's a common thing. More common than you think.

Say you're heading out on a Saturday night. You all meet in your friend's house, and when the drinks run out, you haven't a notion where to head to next.

Or, you've been drinking in the local since you left work and it's time for the small pub to close. Where to head to next? No idea.

Do these scenarios seem familar? If yes, then there's a new app here to help you out. Yay!

Dublin Pub Finder will help you find the perfect pub in the city centre based on your preferences.

Want some live music? No problem. Some craft beer? Gotcha. Maybe a cocktail? You're sorted.

The app lets you search for what you want, and will then offer you a list of pubs that suit what you're looking for.

And as well as that, the app also comes with rating, reviews, a map to the location and directions.

Your Saturday night has just been sorted.
