Pink isn't letting the Grammy Awards get her down.

The singer and mother-of-two posted an adorable image to Instagram when she lost out on the Best Pop Vocal Album award to Ariana Grande, and it's TOO PURE.

Her album, Beautiful Trauma, was the 39-year-old's 20th Grammy Award nomination, and despite not actually winning, her daughter made her feel special anyway.

She captioned the image of her adorable seven-year-old daughter Harper holding a tinfoil award;

"Thanks kids, my favourite kind of award."

She later tweeted her gratitude for the accolade honour, saying that she was "honoured" to be included in the category but her kids need her attention a lot more:

“I think it’s kind of rad that I just lost my 20th Grammy nomination,” the mum tweeted, referencing her two-year-old son Jameson's bath-time habit;

“I’m always honoured to be included. Now to get this sick baby in the bathtub. Congrats to all the nominees! Have fun tonight.”

The star has won three Grammy Awards since her first nomination back in 2001.

Pink last won a Grammy in 2010 after winning the award for best pop collaboration with vocals for her cover of the John Lennon classic Imagine with Seal and India Arie.

She also took home the gong for best female rock vocal performance for Trouble in 2003, and earned her inaugural Grammy in 2001 for Lady Marmalade.

The down-to-earth parent has always had a great attitude to balancing fame with her family, and we love her even more for it; She's always a winner in our eyes.

Former First Lady and current leader of the entire world Michelle Obama delighted her fans and celebrities alike by making a surprise appearance at the Grammys.

Obama showed up and stole the show by appearing alongside fellow female legends Lady Gaga, host Alicia Keys, Jada Pinkett Smith and J-Lo to emphasise how much music means to them.

When she first showed her dazzling face onstage, many in the audience didn't immediately register who she was, Once she began speaking however, the crowd LOST IT.

She had only declared the words, "From the Motown records I wore out on the South Side …", when she was interrupted by hysterical cheering. I mean, we'd all lose our chill if she turned up in Dublin airport.

"All right — we got a show to do," she said as she tried to dissipate the clapping, to no avail.

She referenced Beyoncé, naturally, and Motown as her influences. Could she BE more inspiring?

"From the Motown records I wore out on the South Side to the Who Run the World songs that fuelled me through this last decade, music has always helped me tell my story, and I know that's true for everybody here."

"Whether we like country or rap or rock, music helps us share ourselves, our dignity and sorrows, our hopes and joys. It allows us to hear one another, to invite each other in. Music shows us that all of it matters."

"Every story within every voice, every note within every song. Is that right, ladies?" THAT'S SO RIGHT, MICHELLE.

She later tweeted that she was "thrilled" to be present, celebrating the power of music. Never stop making surprise appearances, gal, we need you.

2018 saw the tragic passing of rapper Mac Miller.

The musician died following what is understood to be an accidental drug overdose.

Tributes poured out for the artist after his passing, with many honouring his music as some of the best and most innovative of our time. His album Swimming, released before her passed away, was nominated for a Grammy this year in the Best Rap Album category.

Ariana Grande was not in attendance on the night, after a disagreement she had with the shows' producers – however like all of us, she was watching the action and giving her feedback on Twitter.

The break up with your girlfriend, im bored singer lashed out via the social media app when Swimming did not take home the golden Gramophone.

According to Refinery29 and People, her first tweet after Cardi was announced as the winner in the Rap Album category was 'fuck,' followed by, 'trash,' and 'literal bullshit.'

Her tweets were quickly deleted, but not before fans let her know that they didn’t feel it was fair of her to hate on Cardi for her win.

Ari replied that it wasn’t Cardi she was upset with: ‘nothing to do w her. good for her. i promise. i’m sorry. She’s not [trash] at all and that’s not what i meant and u know that.'

She clarified that she was upset that Mac Miller’s parents were invited to the Grammys only to see their deceased son’s work lose.

Ariana Grande won her first Grammy Award on the night, for best pop vocal album for Sweetener.

Ariana Grande unleashed her new album Thank U, Next on the world, and as these things do, it's currently going viral.

Ariana also launched the music video for the 12th song on her album, called break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored.

Ariana Grande has reportedly pulled out of her Grammy Awards performance after having a disagreement with the producers over which songs she would perform.

Sources at Variety are claiming that she felt "insulted" after the producers refused to allow her to sing 7 Rings, her latest single from upcoming album Thank U Next.

The album is due out two days before the Grammys, and the 25-year-old singer has appeared on billboards across the USA promoting the show, which takes place this Sunday.

Not only will she not be performing, she won't even be in attendance. YIKES…also devastating. We'd have loved to see her perform.

A compromise was apparently reached where 7 Rings could be sung as part of a medley, but she pulled out after the producers insisted that the second song choice was theirs to make.

The source also stated that such stipulations were not imposed on any other show performers, which is interesting.

Grande has been absolutely KILLIN' IT this year, with Billboard number one album Sweetener and singles Thank U Next and 7 Rings.

Who can forget the tunes God is a Woman and Breathin' too? She's been a gift. She's nominated in some of the Grammys biggest categories, including Best Pop Vocal Performance for God is a Woman and Best Pop Vocal Album.

The story is super similar to that of Lorde, who pulled out of the Grammys performance last year when producers told her she wasn't allowed to perform a song from her second album, Melodrama, which was nominated for Album of the Year.

Hmmm…suspicious. What's up with the producers?

The whole Ariana Grande 7 Rings tattoo debacle is honestly absurd, but yet it's STILL GOING. We're getting as bored of it as she is to be honest…

If you're puzzled about the reference, in summary our home-girl Ari tried to get a tattoo which translated to 7 Rings, her latest number one hit, but instead she accidentally got the Japanese symbol for a barbecue grill restaurant. Awkward.

She then tried to fix it after consulting a supposed friend of hers who spoke the lingo, but her amendment translated the ink to say 'Japanese BBQ finger'. We're dead.

The Thank U, Next singer has gained a HUGE amount of attention online over the error, but now a certain tattoo removal studio has offered her some serious cash to have them laser it off for her.

TMZ has acquired an offer letter from LaserAway, a company who want to strike a deal with Grande that would offer her free laser removal of the tattoo in exchange for a photoshoot at LaserAway and one post per month for a year about her experience.

Also, ONE and a HALF MILLION DOLLARS. How do they even have that money to offer in the first place?

In response, Ari tweeted; "I'll give y'all a million to get off my nuts." to which we say; "Hear, Hear." This needs to end, stat.

Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber's infamous manager, Scooter Braun, responded to the claims;

"I can't speak for Ariana as we have not received this letter, however, if they're willing to send me the offer, I'm sure I'd be happy to get a tattoo and then remove it real quick … for $1.5 million." Eh, WHAT?

Image; TMZ

Braun continued; "Hopefully, we can make this deal before her album comes out next week…shameless plug."

The offer letter is signed by company president, Todd Heckmann, and genuinely concludes with, "Thank u, next tiny barbecue grill." We can't.

What a wild ride…we want to get off now, it's becoming a bit much.

He sees it, he likes it, he wants it, he GETS IT. America's Next Top Model icon Nyle DiMarco, who is also an avid activist for the ASL community, has created his own version of Ariana Grande's 7 Rings music video in American Sign Language.

AND IT'S AMAZING. With DiMarco's assistance, the video was directed by Jake Wilson, and features a range of models absolutely slayin' the game to Ariana's number one hit song, alongside closed captions.

DiMarco was the second male winner and first winner who is hard of hearing to be crowned America's Next Top Model. He's been a public advocate for closed-captioning videos for the deaf community ever since.

He asked Grande herself via Twitter to request that her thank u, next video be available with closed captioning for the “466 million people with hearing loss” who want to view the art too.

"Deaf here and we do enjoy your music," Nyle added. He has been campaigning for representation for years, and has achieved some major milestones while he's at it.

He also reached out to Vevo, writing, "You earn more than $650 million per year and can't even add captions to Ariana Grande's thank u, next video."

"There ARE closed caption service that will cost you ONLY six dollars (or less) to instantly appeal to a wider audience," he added.

"There are 466 million people with hearing loss, thank u, next."

YAS HENNY. He's right, of course. The deaf community face struggles with music videos daily, with only a handful of major artists providing closed-captions on their video work.

Grande took notice of the criticism, and made sure that when her 7 Rings music video debuted this month, there were lyrics available to read onscreen

DiMarco has now released an ASL version of whole iconic music video, and he's looking INCREDIBLE in a diamanté fishnet top;

Him and his male model pals are killin' it in the video, recreating Ariana's girl power song with American Sign Language to boot. Fair play lads, fair play.

Representation matters, and we all have to play a role in encouraging the fight against albeism.

Nyle continues to break down the barriers for his community, we're so glad Ari took notice.

Ireland isn't exactly the hotspot for musical talent to visit during the summer, but recently we've been acquiring some absolutely MAJOR acts from around the world.

Some of us may remember the days of Oxygen (Rest in Pieces), but Electric Picnic has taken over as the biggest and most popular festival in the Irish calendar.

Longitude appears to have become the most 'hip-hop' festival in town overnight, who saw that one coming? All the young ones adore it, hence why artists such as Chance the Rapper, Future and AS$P Rocky are headlining it this year.

Oh, and the queen that is CARDI B (gasp)… this will be us when she emerges on stage like the glorious, ghetto peacock that she is:

ultra music festival dancing GIF

Luckily for you, we've decided to do a round-up of EVERYTHING there is to know of 2019's Irish music festivals.

Strap yourselves in, get your raincoat and wellies ready, it's looking like a muddy ride.

God knows why we all live for summer's music gigs, most of us have had our stuff stolen, our tents destroyed and our dignity abandoned, yet we still come crawling back for more. Must be our dedication to the art, or something?

First up: Castlepalooza: May 3 – May 5 2019

Things have been pretty hush hush this year in Castlepalooza-land. So far, no headline acts have been announced and even the early bird tickets aren't on sale yet.

As far as speculation goes, they normally stick to Irish acts such as AllTvvins and The Rubberbandits, so maybe they'll get Dermot Kennedy or Picture This?

We're assuming it's still taking place in Charleville Castle, Tullamore, but they've changed the dates so who knows. All will be revealed.

Life Festival: May 24 – May 26 2019

For #Life19, some major dance players have been given the green light to DJ, including Giggs, Bicep, MK, Nina Kraviz and CamelPhat. Think District 8 but in the woodlands.

The festival is returning to Belvedere House in County Westmeath for a weekend of phenomenal tunes. There are three days, six stages and a jam-packed line-up.

Chill by the lakeside stage for a more relaxed vibe, or hit the District 8 tent and Main Stage for absolute dance mania.

Vantastival: 31 May – June 2 2019

Known as the last real festival for camper vans and 'legit' music lover families, Vantastival is relatively unknown in some circles but a must-see in others.

Taking place in Drogheda, Co. Louth, the festival boasts comedy shows, craft beer, art installations and a kids' camp for families.

The festival gets some unbelievable talent up to play, and the headline acts this year have already been announced.

King Kong Company, David Keenan, Cry Monster Cry, Just Mustard and I'd Fight Gandhi are all hitting the stages this year, it's gonna be a BIG one for their 10th anniversary.

Forbidden Fruit: June 1 – June 3 2019

Forbidden Fruit has been a steadily growing Irish festival for years, with some well-known as well as emerging talent performing DJ sets in the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Kilmainham.

Headliners this year are Mura Masa (INCREDIBLE), Skepta, Elbow, First Aid Kit and Danny Brown. They're spreading out the genres this year, bringing in some new and more alternative names.

Tickets went on-sale back in December, but there are still a few left. We recommend grabbing them before they're gone.

Body&Soul: June 21 – June 23 2019

The arts festival takes place in Ballinlough, Co. Westmeath, and it's celebrating it's 10th run this year.

Previous headliners include Nick Cave, but they have yet to tease 2019's fixtures.

It's a cesspit for creative minds, branding itself as the biggest 'independent' festival in Ireland. They're announcing the line-up very soon, so stay tuned. We're guessing perhaps Christine and the Queens?

Sea Sessions: June 21- June 23 2019

Sea Sessions is well on the rise. The festival is specifically for surfers, and takes place in Bundoran, Co. Donegal for those sea lovers every year.

They've got a STELLAR line-up for 2019: Sigrid (I cried when I saw her, not gonna lie), Clean Bandit and Two Door Cinema Club are the star acts who will blaze up that stage.

This one looks set to be an incredible year, especially if the weather holds up. Tickets are on sale now, but it sells out every year so get on it ASAP.

Longitude – July 5 – July 7 2019

They've just announced some massive names to the chart: Cardi B and Anne-Marie are two unreal additions.

The festival is running from Friday July 5 until Sunday July 7 in Marlay Park, and always gets some pure stunning weather (for once).

The line-ups have DRASTICALLY changed even since 2017, when Mumford & Sons took centre stage. It's all about those rap stars nowadays, who would have thought Irish people would crave the genre so much? Maybe it's just the young wans.

Tickets are back on sale this Friday, February 1 at 9am. Get ready for online mayhem, as Cardi B is sure to attract thousands of eager fans.

All Together Now: August 2 – August 4 2019

The festival takes place in Curraghmore House in County Waterford during the August Bank Holiday, so it's always a sure-fire hit.

American indie band The National are the headliners for this year's take; previous performers include Fleet Foxes, Mura Masa, Villagers and First Aid Kit.

Most of the tickets have already sold-out for this year's festival, but there's always DoneDeal? Camper van tickets are also still available, but not much else except the higher priced ones.

Electric Picnic: August 30 – September 1 2019

So E.P. is ALREADY sold-out, as predicted.

The speculation has begun, seeing as nobody is aware of the line-up as of yet, and we're gonna go ahead and pray that our home-girl ARIANA GRANDE hits the Main Stage. Get your rosary beads out.

Last year saw N.E.R.D, Kendrick Lamar and The Prodigy hit the stage as headliners, and Sigrid and Dua Lipa absolutely smashed it during their performances. We'd love to see those gals return with new albums under their belts.

There you are, gals. The ULTIMATE Irish music festival round-up for 2019…so far. We're tingling with excitement already at the thought of sneaking in all those naggins/cans/wine bottles/shoulders/litres/whatever the kids drink nowadays.

Now all we need is the funds to afford any/all of these amazing gigs. Maybe we could sneak in?

Just two days after telling the world she'd drop the tracklist and cover art for her newest album, due February 8, Ariana Grande essentially said "F*ck it". And we love her for it.

She's only gone and posted them EARLY, sharing the iconic tracklist (Break up with your girlfriend, I'm bored is our fave) and debuting the cover art for Thank U, Next.

The cover is, of course, pink. Our homegirl Ari is also upside down, with spraypaint across her chest reminiscent of the 7 Rings cover.

The 25-year-old is maintaining her "Zero f*cks given" attitude following the release of the groundbreaking album Sweetener in August.

With 12 new tracks for us to obsess over, including Imagine and Thank U, Next, the work is sure to be a hit.

Grande is doing things exactly as she likes, whenever she likes, and the art is celebrating strong, empowered and SINGLE women.

Telling her fans, "This is my favourite album cover, I think. Brain painted me. Fredo shot me. Made with true, deep friendship and love, just like this music."

Adorable, she clearly has a wonderful support system of family and friends around her since her much-publicised break-up with Pete Davidson.

The singer has claimed she's stanning the single solo life in 2019, after being asked who she's dating now; "Spoiler for the rest of this year/probably my life: it's no one."

After Ari's upside-down Christmas tree, to embody her life currently being in an upside-down universe, she's brought that energy to her latest album artwork.

While her life remains topsy-turvy, Grande's here for it. "This time she kinda…f*cks with it." Damn right, she does.

2019 is going to be Ariana's year, we can feel it. If you need us we'll be blasting 7 Rings on our way to Tiffany & Co.

Ariana Grande is doing things HER WAY from now on, including dropping an album whenever the heck she wants, reminiscent of Beyonce'e Lemonade.

Despite the fact the 25-year-old singer only dropped Sweetener in August, and blew our minds with its girl power greatness, her forthcoming album Thank U, Next will drop on February 8.

We, for one, CANNOT WAIT to hear the tunes in all their pop gloriousness, judging by how incredible her latest song 7 Rings is.

Ari has given us a taster for what's to come, posting the album's setlist to her Instagram account and sending her fans into a frenzied furore.

The gal can pretty much do whatever she pleases considering her phenomenal success, a Billboard number one album and numerous Top 100 songs from the same release.

The album has 12 tracks, including recent tunes such as Imagine, 7 Rings and, of course, the great Thank U, Next.

She grouped the songs into three categories of four, which probably has a deeper meaning but we sadly don't have this insider knowledge as of yet. Hit us up if you know any deets.

The names are already iconic; Fake smile, bad idea, ghostin, NASA, make-up, and our personal favourite, break up with your girlfriend, I'm bored.

Ari had a rough year in 2018, with her much-publicised break-up, her ex-boyfriend's overdose and the grief from Manchester's bombing attack.

She has recently tweeted that releasing the album just before Valentine's Day isn't to get her fans in the mood for love, it's to get them empowered as strong, single woman. We stan.

Nevertheless, she persisted. Ari is one talented woman, who is giving us some pure fire in the form of music.

The album can be preordered from Friday, and we'll even get the ARTWORK to drool over too.

This girl keeps on giving, get ready for even more greatness people.

Ariana Grande OWNED 2018, there is absolutely zero question about that.

It's looking like 2019 will be yet another year of the Ari, after she released her pink-infused Tokyo themed music video for 7 Rings.

"Whoever said money can't solve your problems, must not have had enough money to solve 'em. They say, "Which one?" I say, "Nah, I want all of 'em" = The life we both want and deserve.

It's a badass anthem of female empowerment, and touches on her past heartbreak and current happiness as a single, but powerful woman. YAS GURL.

The track is an ode to her best friends, and the rhythm and lyrics are inspired by The Sound of Music's classic tune My Favourite Things.

"Wearing a ring, but ain't gon' be no 'Mrs', bought matching diamonds for six of my bitches. I'd rather spoil all my friends with my riches, think retail therapy's my new addiction," she croons. GET IT HENNY.

"Been through some bad shit, I should be a sad b*tch. Who woulda thought it'd turn me to a savage?" she sings, on top of a kitchen island, looking INCREDIBLE.

She's seeing the world through rose-tinted glasses, it would seem. From sexy ensembles abundant to unreal feminist themes while dancing ironically in a kitchen setting, the video is set to be a hit.

Let's examine the best Easter egg aspects to the video, for scientific purposes only. Naturally, her fans have gone WILD over the GRRL power video, with glitter and pink everywhere to be seen.

She embraces her wealth, suggesting that in fact, money can buy her happiness and retail therapy can help her to recover from break-ups. Why not, gal. Why not.

Ariana was definitely inspired by the hip-hop industry, her glamorous pink fur coat is sure to inspire fashion trends, and her new-found confidence at her hard-earned cash is reminiscent of male rappers.

Memes are also sure to be hoppin' online, we're seeing some absolute gems already:

1. A Rap Goddess is born

Ari raps now? The Sweetener songstress makes her love for the finer things in life well known in the video.

From "lashes and diamonds" to "ATM machines" and "breakfast at Tiffany's," Ari lives the high life on her own terms and her own earnings.

True Arianators will notice that the intro for 7 Rings is suspiciously similar to the one included in the music video for Thank U, Next. Our gal-pal Ari was dropping hints WEEKS ago.

2. It's a Squad Session

Her best friends joined in on the video action and are all featured as "six of my b*tches."

Ariana gifted these six lucky women to Tiffany & Co. rings on a day out in New York City, hence their starring roles.

She revealed on Twitter that the inspiration happened on a "pretty rough day in NYC", after which her besties brought her to Tiffany for "way too much champagne". That's our regular Saturday, sure.

Ariana shared at the time. "On the way back to the studio, Njomza was like, 'Bitch, this gotta be a song lol.' So we wrote it that afternoon."

3. Mac Miller's best friend has a cameo

Singer-songwriter Njomza was a close friend of the late rapper, and Ari's ex-boyfriend. The pair frequently collaborated, and Njomza made sure to perform at Miller's tribute concert last October.

Ari gifted him with one of the six rings, presumably as a nod to their paralleling loss.

4. A gal's best friend is her dog

Ariana's doggo Toulouse is renowned in the celebrity pooch world, and even ended up making an appearance in one scene of the video because he "literally wouldn't leave" while filming.

Attention seeker much?

5. The signature ponytail gets a role

Grande's go-to hairdo had to get a shout out, it's been her guiding light since she released her latest album, which rocketed up the charts.

After dying her hair red for years on Nickelodeon's Victorious, she was compelled to use hair extensions to cover up the damage.

She's now embracing her longer-than-life tresses, with the lyric; "You like my hair? / Gee thanks, just bought it…"

7 Rings marks the second single from Grande's upcoming album, thank u, next, after Imagine was released.

The album marks her new ability to drop music whenever she wants, a hip-hop trait which has been predominantly used by male rappers, and made famous by Beyoncé.

The album is sure to be as big a hit as Sweetener, the more amazing girl-power music from Princess Ari, the better.
