According to reports, Keith Duffy had to end a family night out in violence after he was attacked by six men last weekend.

The Irish Mail on Sunday reports that Keith was out with his wife, Lisa, and his son, Jay, at celebrity hot spot Lillie's Bordello, when the incident happened.

The family were out celebrating after attending the premiere of their son Jay’s film Handsome Devil at the Audi Dublin Film Festival.

Insiders claim that the six men started harassing Lisa in the VIP spot of the nightclub, and when Keith stepped in, they surrounded him and started to become aggressive.

"Six guys surrounded him in the club after Lisa came looking for him [after going to find security]," said the source. 

"She was upset by the behaviour of these guys. He got a few digs – there were a few of them. There was six on one.

"They just set on Keith, there was no reason for it, it was unprovoked," they added.

It is understood that Gardaí arrived a short time later but by then Keith had left to go home, therefore he did not provide a statement.

Stephen Bear has reportedly been punched in the face after he was mugged in a London carpark.

According to The Sun, Bear was attacked by a stranger who stole his watch and bank cards.

A source told the publication: "A man said hello to him and Bear replied as he always does. 

“To start with, the conversation was friendly but suddenly, while they were chatting, the man punched Bear in the face and knocked him onto his back.

"Bear was stunned for a few seconds by the blow, but it was long enough for the guy to take his watch and some bracelets from him. 

“After kicking him in the head, the man was also able to take his debit cards and his wallet.”

We hope he's OK.

Fifth Harmony's Ally Brooke has been attacked for the second time this week.

The singer was on stage in Mexico when a crazed man ran up to her and started dragging her by the hair while she was performing.

Security quickly intervened and desperately tried to remove the man who was holding onto Ally's long hair.

The singer then fell to the ground and was clearly in shock, as her other bandmates rushed to her side.

However, she wasted no time bouncing back and within minutes resumed to entertaining the band's fans.

This came just two days after Ally sent a tweet out asking her fans to be more considerate after a woman jumped on her at the airport.

We hope she's OK.

Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan have offered their support to a fan of theirs who suffered a horrific beating at a Magaluf nightclub where Mark was DJing.

Tom Grundon posted a photo of his awful facial injuries to Twitter. According to the victim, his attackers claimed to be the personal security of the famous couple.

However, the former TOWIE star responded explaining that he and his wife do not have personal security and that they will do everything they can to help.

“I have seen the news regarding @TomGrundon today and I can honestly say I knew nothing about this horrible incident.

Neither myself or Michelle have personal security. We were only made aware of this an hour ago, and have now spoken to Tom and offered any help we can to get this resolved.”

Mr Grundon suffered two broken cheek bones, a broken nose, a broken eye socket and a crack in the back of his skull, amongst other injuries.

He was attacked shortly after taking a selfie on stage with Mark.

Michelle has also taken to Twitter to offer her support. “My thoughts go out to @TomGrundon and his family today, absolutely disgusting what happened, shocking and barbaric. Wishing u a full recovery. X.”

Tom later tweeted saying that he had spoken directly to Mark and Michelle and that he realises they had nothing to do with the incident. He revealed that he believes that it was the bouncers of the club he was in in Magaluf, Boomerang, that were responsible for the attack.

This morning when Thalia Heffernan walked the catwalk for the Brown Thomas’ Autumn/Winter ’15 collection, no one could tell that she has suffered a violent attack just hours earlier.

The stunning 20-year-old took to Facebook to write an emotional message calling out her attackers and describing the stress that she is understandably still feeling from the incident.

“To the horrible girl who hit me in the face and robbed my bag this morning,” the post began. “To the guy who helped her, and to their thieving little friends for watching.”

Ms Heffernan explained how the group of teenagers hit her repeatedly in the face and shoved her in an attempt to take her handbag.

“What’s worse is that there was nothing I could do to even attempt to defend myself, despite screaming and crying after them,” Thalia revealed.

The Irish beauty, who is a known athletics fiend, felt helpless as the gang of youths attacked her.

She has released a further update, saying that the Gardai are investigating the incident and that she is assisting them in every way possible. She explained how “The most important thing now… is getting these kids off the streets so parents, brothers and sisters don’t have to worry about their loved ones being harassed, robbed or worse.”

Thalia also revealed that the police have since found her handbag in the Cuffe Street flats in Dublin City Centre but that it was emptied of all her belongings.

Ms Heffernan ended her post saying that she hopes she can assist the Gardai in catching the culprits and holding them responsible for what they have done to her and, no doubt, countless of others.

Whenever Siva Kaneswaran from The Wanted tries to do a good deed, it never seems to go well.

Back in April, he and his band mate Jay McGuiness were attacked by a homeless guy with a knife when they tried to give him money. And now? He’s been punched in the face after trying to save a woman who was being attacked by her boyfriend!

The Irish singer was walking around New York City last month with his rep, when he saw the woman being attacked, and without a hint of hesitation, he ran over to break up the fight!

Apparently, Siva told the guy to chill out, only to be told: “This isn’t about you!” So instead, he tried to hold him off, and got a black eye in the process. Thankfully though, the woman managed to escape while Siva was holding her boyfriend down. The attacker then fled the scene as well.

He told reporters: "I am no hero, I just wanted to prevent her from being hit."

A hero AND modest? Well, he’s almost too good to be true! Siva is hoping the woman will contact him so that he knows she’s ok. Here’s hoping his act of bravery made a difference!

Dublin’s seagulls have been getting a very bad rep for themselves lately, and now Irish singer Bressie has declared war on them!

It seems The Voice Ireland judge was at the mercy of some feisty gulls while out training for his triathlon yesterday.

“The sea gulls got me. We are in a war people,” the singer tweeted last night, with a snap of a pretty nasty head wound.

“Day before triathlon and split head. Good start,” he added.

Poor Bressie!

Bressie’s gull bashing comes after a Fianna Fail senator called on the Government to take action against “raucous” seagulls that are attacking young children.

Ned O’Sullivan said seagulls have “lost the run of themselves” in Dublin City and are even taking lollipops from children.

We wonder if there’s such a thing as Anger Management classes for birds…

Heartthrob actor Zac Efron was attacked during a street brawl when his car ran out of petrol in a dodgy area of downtown LA.

Zac reportedly got punched in the face during a scrap with at least three very unsavoury characters in a downtown area which is said to be plagued with drug dealers and gangs.

Even the High School Musical star’s bodyguard couldn’t protect him from the digs as the pair were outnumbered.

When questioned by cops, Zac told them the fight kicked off when he throw a bottle out of the window of his car, which had run out of petrol, and it smashed on the pavement near the group of men.

The actor said that two of the men took on his bodyguard and when Zac got out of the car to help, he got an almighty blow to the mouth.

Zac said, “It was the hardest I’ve ever been hit in my life.”

Sounds bad, but a witness said that the actor was clearly drunk when the brawl took place, and no arrests were made as the incident was seen as ‘mutual combat’.

Maybe be more careful next time Zac.
