What's the main thing Irish people always miss when they move abroad?

The food of course!

Whether you're just craving a bit of Dairygold for your toast or a good aul chicken fillet roll after a night out, odds are you could be tempted to go home just for the grub alone.

Well a chipper in Australia is keeping the Irish over there VERY happy and also trying out some mad recipes.

The Traditional Chip Shop in Sydney is run by an Irish couple and they are bringing all the goodness and grease of an Irish chipper to the outback.

And apart from a good ol' helping of beer battered fish and chips, this chip shop is getting also experimental.

Some of the quirky items on offer? Well, firstly you can get a hearty helping of battered black and white pudding. You know, if you want a flavour of an Irish breakfast.

Also on offer is a deep fried jam sandwich for dessert or you can always go for the infamous battered Mars Bar.

The shop is owned by Meath couple Will and Suzanne Dolan who wanted to create a traditional Irish chip shop in Australia but with a few twists.

"So many people out here miss the taste of food from a traditional chip shop so we were just waiting to find the right building in the right place."

"[We] worked in a chipper back home when we were younger. Will came out here in 1998 and I followed him out in 2009. It’s been something that he’s wanted to do for a long time," said Suzanne.

And what would no traditional Irish chipper be complete without? The classic curry chip of course.

Scrumptious!

It is being reported that two men from Northern Ireland were killed in a workplace accident in Perth, Western Australia.

According to the Belfast Telegraph, the men were both in their 20s and were in Australia on work visas. One was from Co Tyrone and the other was from Co Derry.

Media in Australia reported the men were crushed under at least one concrete panel which fell from a truck as it was being unloaded. The incident is believed to have occurred on a construction site in East Perth at 11.30am local time (3.30am Irish time).

The site was evacuated and the street was closed to allow emergency services access to the scene.

West Australian Newspaper journalist Claire Tyrrell told RTE Radio One's Today the two men are understood to have been on a cigarette break when the incident occurred.

"It is believed the truck, because it was being unloaded, was unbalanced and as a panel was taken off one side, the panel on the other side fell off," she said.

Jaxon Construction, issued a statement offering “heartfelt thoughts and condolences” to the families, loved ones and colleagues of the men.

“We are co-operating fully with the relevant authorities and will make further announcements as additional information becomes available,” the company said. “Site works have been halted until further notice and the site is now in the hands of relevant authorities.”

The construction company, which has been in operation for over 50 years, has never experienced a fatality among its workers.

“Our workforce is grieving and our focus is on supporting the families and those affected. As a mark of respect, and to fully support our employees, all Jaxon sites will be closed tomorrow,” the company said.

A man working in the Grill and Chill restaurant across from the building described seeing the incident happen.

“We started working in the restaurant and then we heard a noise,” Vikas Verma told the West Australian newspaper.

He said he saw a large concrete panel being lifted off the side of a truck by a crane and said it appeared to unbalance the truck, which was holding four slabs on its other side.

“Two slabs fell down onto the ground,” he said. “I saw someone in fluorescent clothing underneath the slabs.”

Inspectors from the state government’s industrial safety body, WorkSafe, are reported to have begun an investigation.

The Department of Foreign Affairs in Dublin said it was aware of the case and ready to provide consular assistance.

Globally dubbed the person with the world's most unfortunate name, it has now emerged that one Phuc Dat Bich is not entirely as he seems.

Indeed, despite lamenting that he was constantly being kicked off Facebook for his moniker – not to mention that no one would take him seriously – the man formerly known as Phuc has made a confession: the whole thing was totally fabricated.

Signing off a new online post from 'Joe Carr,' (aka, Joker), the young Australian explained: "What started as a joke between friends, became a prank that made a fool out of the media and brought out the best in the people who reached out to me."

He added: "It goes to show that an Average Joe like myself can con the the biggest news sources," before concluding with: "Continue being the best person you can be and make your mark on the world in whatever way you can – even if it is a simple prank."

The newly-named Mr Carr actually shared his viral post back in January, but it was only picked up by press – at first in Australia, and then globally – a week ago.

He had initially lamented: “I've been accused of using a false and misleading name of which I find very offensive… Is it because I'm Asian?"

In the aftermath, the man in question was also contacted by Guardian Australia. He told the agency that his real name was Tin Le and that he was 23 and lived in Melbourne, however, he also refused requests for verification.

There are plenty of folk who confess to not being all that crazy about their name.

Maybe their parents opted for a traditional moniker that nowadays just doesn’t appeal – or perhaps their mum or dad were alternative types who had a moment of madness in the labour ward.

However, as the internet proves again and again, there is ALWAYS someone far worse off.

Take, for example, one poor Australian chap – who certainly sports one of the more cringe-inducing titles we’ve stumbled across recently.

In a frustrated Facebook post, Mr Phuc Dat Bich – who has been accused in the past of making up his name – stated: “I find it highly irritating the fact that nobody seems to believe me when I say that my full legal name is how you see it.

Indeed, taking matters into his own hands, 23-year-old Phuc decided to share a snap of his passport, proving once and for all he’s the real deal.

“I've been accused of using a false and misleading name of which I find very offensive,” he added. "Is it because I'm Asian? Is it?”

And although Phuc Dat Bich is actually correctly pronounced ‘Phoop Dook Bic,’ native-English speakers – overwhelmingly in the majority in Australia – can’t help but say the words phonetically.

Indeed, Mr Dat Bich furthermore highlighted that his Facebook account has even been “shut down multiple times”.

On the plus side, his online complaint, which was actually posted back in January but has only now gone viral, has received more than 125,000 likes and has been shared some 67,000 times.

Police in Perth are reportedly on the hunt for a group pf nine men who have been spotted driving motorised picnic tables along the roads of Scarborough Beach.

While many other people are finding this not quite high speed chase highly amusing, Western Australia Police are not.

Photos and videos of the men driving along Scarborough Beach Road towards a section of the West Coast Highway have gone viral on social media.

Police are putting a call out on Facebook requesting help to identify those involved.

"Police are concerned for the safety of those riding on the tables with no protective clothing, especially when on roads alongside motor vehicles," Western Australia Police said.

The police said those involved "could face a number of charges including driving an unlicensed vehicle, driving an unroadworthy vehicle and drink driving".

Definitely not suited for driving in busy roads we agree, but we also can’t help but wonder who thought this was going to be a good idea.

Also, where does one find a motorised picnic table?

They've just wrapped up an exclusive media lunch in Sydney – and suffice to say that Kendall and Kylie are causing a SERIOUS stir in Australia.

The sisters only jetted Down Under yesterday, but already they're attracting flocks of keen as mustard fans who are eager to follow their every move as they promote their just-released collection for Forever New.

And luckily, the reality TV duo – especially Kylie – have been documenting their Aussie experiences online with particular gusto.

Indeed, the younger Ms Jenner has been Snapchatting and Instagramming whenever she's found a spare moment.

In one clip, hoards of teenage girls can be seen gathering around the sisters' car, while a second video posted by Forever New shows the rapturous welcome the girls were given at Westfield Plaza shopping centre.

Understandably, 20-year-old model Kendall and 18-year-old Kylie both wore items from their range for the Westfield launch: the former in a pretty patterned keyhole playsuit, while the latter opted for a sleek white skater dress with a mesh panel on the front.

The items are priced at €115 and €135 respectively from the label's website and yes – it ships to Ireland.

The famous family members also enjoyed a boat ride on the city's river – and with Sydney basking in 22C sunshine, we bet it was a wholly pleasant afternoon out.

An Instagram photo shared by Kylie and lovingly captioned "I'll always be here for you my sister," has now notched up 1million likes. It shows the pair resting on their boat's decking.

As to be expected, neither Ms Jenners are travelling light. As well as a serious haul of luggage, Anna McClelland from Aussie fashion website buro247.com.au shared a telling Instagram snap of the pair at the media lunch.

"Lunching with these two ladies," she wrote, adding that they had "the most insane entourage I've ever seen".

We wouldn't expect anything less!

Described as "funky, warm, hipster, but also family-orientated," a brand-new bar is about to open its doors in Sydney's Dulwich Hill area.

So what's the big deal, you ask? Well, this is not any old hipster-friendly establishment, no siree.

In fact, it's a specialist NUTELLA eatery which will serve up an array of chocolatey, hazelnutty, sugary wonders.

And yes, frankly, we're already seriously considering selling a kidney and using the proceeds to hop on a 17,250km flight Down Under.

Offering "every Nutella product you can think of," the owners have already said they reckon the quirky likes of Nutella cruffins, Nutella banana bread, Nutella macarons, Nutella brownies, Nutella icecream and Nutella cheesecakes will be among their biggest sellers, although the more standard Nutella crepes, waffles, and pancakes are sure to be a hit too.

The concept has been kicked off by the same folk who run the city's popular Foodcraft Espresso And Bakery

Recently, the cafe caused an on-line storm when its €6.50-a-pop Tella Ball milkshake – a mouth-watering mix of three scoops of Nutella and vanilla ice cream topped with a Nutella-infused doughnut – went viral.

Understandably, the Tella Ball will also be available in the new cafe. For those of us not based in Sydney, SHEmazing! has rounded up the following Instagram snaps… now let's all take a sugar-infused moment to dare to dream…

Having not one but TWO teams playing in a Rugby World Cup final is something us Irish folks can't really relate to, but for poor Annabelle it's a very real problem.

The youngster lives in Australia, but her mum Andrea Gatchell is a New Zealander, meaning she'll have to shout for both teams in today's RWC final clash.

Poor Annabelle… #thestruggleisreal#goallblacks #undecidedannabelle

Posted by Andrea Gatchell on Thursday, 29 October 2015

Choosing a favourite turned out to be a bit too much pressure for Annabelle yesterday, and her tearful meltdown has gone viral since her mum shared it on Facebook.

"'I really want to go for New Zealand but if Australia lose I'll be really sad … and if I go for Australia, you'll be really sad because you're a New Zealander," she says through her tears.

And when her mum asks who she would prefer to win all she can say is, "I don't KNOW."

Our heart goes out to little Annabelle… but she'll no doubt be celebrating no matter who wins.

Here at SHEmazing! we've long had a bit of a soft-spot for Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth – he of Home And Away, Neighbours, and The Hunger Games fame (we're choosing not to mention a certain former fiancee, Miley Cyrus).

Furthermore, he comes from a mega good-looking family (*tip of the hat to brothers Chris and Luke too*) – but it says plenty that the youngest Hemsworth offspring is the shining light amid such glowingly good genes.

It is a fact we were duly reminded of today upon seeing some rather impressive snaps of the 25-year-old Melbourne-native surfing in California.

Taking to waves at Malibu Beach just yesterday, Liam looked to be something of an expert when it came to tackling the rough water on his board.

And following his expedition on the waves, Mr Hemsworth stripped down his wet-suit to the waist, indulging in a refreshing after-surf shower – and showing off his incredibly healthy and toned bod in the process.

Just last week, Liam joined Chris for a football match back in their native Australia, where they still spend a considerable amount of time despite being major Hollywood players.

Suited and booted and looking rather dapper, the brothers were attending the Australian Football League final at the Melbourne Cricket Club.

It was a game eventually won by the Hawthorns, who beat their West Coast Eagle rivals by 46 points.

That's not all, either: on Tuesday, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 official trailer finally hit the internet, giving us further, never-seen-before glimpses of Liam.

Hurrah!

Following their defeat to Wales last week, tonight's game versus Australia was a must-win contest for the English rugby team.

Sadly for the host nation's fans, however, they failed to deliver, being resoundingly defeated by 33 points to 13.

A last-minute converted try proved to be the cherry on the top for the Aussie boys, who played some of the best rugby of the tournament so far.

England also finished on 14 men after golden boy Owen Farrell was given a yellow card for a mistimed tackle with less than 15 minutes to go.

England came within seven points of their rivals early in the second half – but ultimately Australia always looked dominant.

And big things had been expected of them in the run-up to the competition.

Indeed, several commentators had suggested that, with all the advantages of playing on home-soil, the team was on course to scoop the title, as they did back in 2003.

Prior to the match, England coach Stuart Lancaster had admitted that his squad faced the "biggest game of their careers".

Statistics seemed to be on their side too: they had won four of their past five meetings with the Wallabies.

In the aftermath, England fans could be heard booing as Mr Lancaster walked out onto the pitch at Twickenham. And on the 75th minute, streams of supporters could also been seen leaving the stadium in disgust.

England, now placed third in Pool A behind current leaders Australia and runners-up Wales, will next week travel north to Manchester, where they play Uruguay.

They do so as the first ever host nation to go out of a Rugby World Cup in the pool stages.

Tomorrow in Pool D, Ireland take on Italy at London’s Olympic Stadium.

Ellie Goulding is currently in Australia where she was scheduled to perform during the AFL Grand Final.

She managed to run into a bit of trouble however when she was accused of lip-syncing on stage.

The 28-year old singer has been suffering from an “illness” and also faced some technical issues during her performance. She didn’t come in on time with the music and the song had to be restarted.

She was performing her song Love Me Like You Do and according to Mail Online the technical error resulted in many social media users getting very annoyed with the star.

Ellie shot back at her accusers on Twitter and wrote:

“Love it when people think I lip sync, what a rad compliment. Now where does one find a good veggie restaurant in Melbs?”

After her performance the producer of the Toyota AFL Grand Final Entertainment Michael Gudinski released a statement in support of Ellie.

“Ellie performed live vocals to a backing track. This is a very common practice for performances in situations such as the Grand Final.

Unfortunately a technical issue at the start of Ellie’s performance caused a brief hiccup but Ellie went on to prove just how much of a superstar she is, belting out two of her massive hits.”

Ellie continued to defend her performance on social media and she told her fans in Oz she was “determined to give everything.”

Chris Brown was leaving Warwick Nightclub in Hollywood earlier this week when two men tried to ‘attack’ him.

The two unknown men approached him as he made his way out the club and tried to grab the singer. The men are seen reaching out to grab Chris before security were able to get them to step away from him.

The 26-year old seemed pretty unfazed by the incident and didn’t appear to react to the men according to the Mirror.

Security were able to pull the men off of Chris who shrugged off the incident and headed home in his red Lamborghini. The reason as to why the attack happened is not known and no one had any injuries after the incident.

This is not the first time Chris has had some trouble from members of the public. In 2012 he and Drake were partying at WiP in NYC when a brawl broke out that left several people injured.

There was also an incident in January of this year at his performance in San Jose, California when five people were shot at the Fiesta nightclub where Chris was performing.

At the moment Chris is waiting for a decision to be made that would allow him entry into Australia.

His visa application has yet to be approved by the government as a result of his past issues with violence.

Although he’s been in the country twice before, Senator Michaelia Cash has said the government are not afraid to turn down his request this time.

In the meantime, Chris can be heard on a new single released by singer Tinashe. Chris joins the singer for a half-rapped explicative- heavy verse that we feel will probably be played in many a night club in time to come.
