Fans were quick to congratulate the star on her news in the comments section of the cute Boomerang video.
Dawn was immediately inundated with messages of congratulations, with one follower commenting, "Two sons is the best. Your house will never be quiet again. Big love."
Another wrote, "Yay to being a mummy of 2 boys, it's the best club to be in. Congratulations, is that not the cutest ducky I ever saw?"
Irish actor, Chris O'Dowd then shared the same photo with his Twitter followers along with one of the greatest dad jokes of all time.
When it comes to baby announcements, the celeb set know how to do it.
From Beyonce's veiled bump photo to Jessica Simpson's 'mummy' pun, there are so many ways to announce your pregnancy or the arrival of your little one, especially in Celebland.
Congratulations are in order for Lauren Conrad, as the reality TV star-turned-designer has welcomed her first child, and made an adorable Insta announcement.
Within three decades, we won't be making babies naturally, apparently.
That's the opinion of one Stanford University professor, who believes that making a baby will be carried out in a lab.
Hank Greely, the director of Stanford's Centre of Law and Biosciences claims that the reproductive process will start by parents choosing from a range of embryos with their DNA.
Even though this already takes place for people who struggle to conceive, Hank thinks it will become cheaper and the safest option in the long run.
The process would involve taking a female's skin sample to make stem cells, which would then be used to create eggs.
The eggs are then fertilised by sperm cells, which produce the embryos.
"I think one of the hardest things about this will be all the divorces that come about when she wants embryo number 15 and he wants embryo number 64,” Hank said at Aspen Ideas Festive, Tribune reported.
“I think the decision making will be a real challenge for people. How do you weigh a slightly higher chance of diabetes with slightly lower risk of schizophrenia against better musical ability and a much lower risk of colon cancer? Good luck.”
In what is thought to be the first case in the world, a baby has been born as gender neutral in Canada.
The baby, Searyl Atli Doty, has been issued a health card with the letter 'U' in the gender box for 'unknown'.
This comes as Searyl's parents fight to allow their child to pick its own gender identity in years to come.

The baby's parents are going to court after the Vital Statistics Agency of British Columbia refused to issue a birth certificate for the child.
“We’re not actually asking to have anyone’s ID changed against their will. We’re just asking to change the structure of how identification, particularly the birth certificate, starts out,” Searyl's parent Kori said.
Kori said that the family's goal is for the child to discover its own identity, and even when people ask if the child is a boy or girl, Kori has a swift retort.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are one of the most adored celeb couples at the moment.
The loved up pair are constantly gushing over their daughter Luna (and each other) and it's honestly the cutest thing.
Keeping that in mind, it was no surprise that the internet went into complete melt down this week after Chrissy hinted that she might be pregnant with her second child.
The no-nonsene queen of Twitter has been open about her fertility struggles in the past, however, the stars latest series of Tweets have led fans to believe that that her and John are expecting, or at least trying for, baby number two.
In January, Chrissy told Extra TV that she was planning to have IVF again saying, "we have a boy on ice."
US reports have claimed that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have hired a surrogate to carry their third child.
Kim suffered a number of complications during her two previous pregnancies and was told by doctors that it was too risky for her to carry another child.
Citing unidentified sources, People Magazine and E! News reported that the couple has chosen their surrogate, while TMZ claimed the couple had agreed to pay the woman more that $113,000 to carry their child.
“Kim and Kanye will use a surrogate to carry their third baby. They are both very excited to give their kids a sibling,” a source told People.
The rumours have been fuelled by a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in which Kim spoke about the option of surrogacy:
"I think I always knew that surrogacy was an option, but I didn't think it was that realistic of an option, and now I feel like that's my reality."
The news comes after a difficult year for the couple. Last October Kim was the victim of a robbery in Paris and Kanye was forced to cancel his December tour after he was hospitalised for apparent mental health issues.
Since then, the couple, who are already parents to North (age 4) and Saint (age 1), have taken a much more modest approach to social media, with just the occasional post about family life.
The reports did not reveal whether the supposed surrogate was already pregnant.

According to The Mirror, Binky and JP has previously confirmed that they were expecting a baby girl.
Earlier this month, Binky hinted that her baby could soon be on the way after sharing a photo of her and JP enjoying the sun alongside the caption: "One of the last weekends where it's just the two of us."

The couple recently announced plans to launch their very own solo reality show, with cameras following them in the run uo to their child's birth.
The title and start date are yet to be confirmed, but two one-hour long episodes of the programme will be aired in E4 sometime this year.
Binky and JP revealed the news about their pregnancy back in February, stating at the time that although they were not in a romantic relationship, they were committed to raising their child together.
However, since then, the pair have confirmed that they have decided to give their relationship another shot, but insisted it wasn't solely because of the baby.
Speaking during an interview on This Morning last month, Binky said, "It’s taken a while, we basically discussed things. We're back together because we love each other."
Josh added: "It was a case of just taking things slow, the worst thing would be to get back together for the baby. I think we have to realise when a child is coming into the picture that you both grow up together and both change together.”
Either way, congratulations are in order for the happy couple!
Donal captioned the photo: "Life is about to change forever! We're expecting a little baby arriving this Autumn!
“Completely over the moon and feeling very blessed- Mommy and bump doing brilliantly, Dad & Max don’t know what’s about to hit! Big love, Donal, Sofie, Max & Bump.”
Donal and Sofie also shared a six-minute video where they spoke about the great news and how excited they are for the future.
The couple have made the “big decision” to have the baby in America, where they are both currently working.
The bubbly chef currently has a show on RTÉ called Donal Skehan’s Meals in Minutes. If you want to check it out, it'll be broadcast every Tuesday on RTÉ One at 8.30pm until 11 July.
