These delicious little gems are fruity pebbles flavoured, which is a famous American cereal!

Currently, these macaroons are only available in Georgia, however we reckon it won't be long until other bakeries start hopping on the unicorn waggon.

Picture your lovely, standard chocolate bark.. now imagine someone dipped it in glitter and added some real-life magic to it!

That is exactly what unicorn bark looks like… ONLY BETTER.

The gorgeous humans at Creme and Sugar in California created this magical treat, and we are so happy they did.

#BLESSED.

The best part is, this bark is really easy to create, and all you need is food colouring, white chocolate and colourful sweets!

If you want to whip up some gorgeous unicorn bark, then check out the video below.

Important reminder: unicorns are real, and so are mermaids… that is all.

Whether you're down because of the crappy weather, had an argument with your BFF or this time of year just isn't your fave, it's safe to say this season can bring on a whole range of emotions.

And while this won't cure your blues indefinitely, it will make you feel a little bit better.

According to the Journal of Positive Psychology, people who bake every now and again are much more relaxed compared to people who don't.

The researchers followed 658 people for two weeks. Each participant had to write a diary, which was read by the researchers afterwards. They discovered that each person who baked or cooked at the end of most days felt that they were "flourishing," and advancing in their personal growth.

The study's lead author author, Tamlin Conner said: "There is growing recognition in psychology research that creativity is associated with emotional functioning.

"However, most of this work focuses on how emotions benefit or hamper creativity, not whether creativity benefits or hampers emotional well-being.

"There is genuinely something very therapeutic about baking."

Whether you're going to take this on board or not, we have to admit, we'll be whipping up a few cupcakes next time we're feeling low.

This week is bread week on the Great British Bake-Off, and if you are a bit of a novice in the kitchen (like some of us here in Shemazing! HQ), then this recipe will make you feel like you're cooking alongside the GBBO contestants.

So even if the only thing you've cooked in the kitchen is a microwave meal, this easy four step recipe will impress all your friends:

Granary Bread

Ingredients:

  • 500g granary, strong wholewheat bread flour
  • 7g dried yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp clear honey

Method:

1.Tip the flour, yeast and salt into a large bowl and mix together with your hands. Stir 300ml warm water with the oil and honey, then stir into the dry ingredients to make a soft dough.

2. Place the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for five minutes, until the dough no longer feels sticky. If you need to, sprinkle in more flour.

3. Oil the loaf tin and place dough inside, pressing it down evenly. Then, place tin in a large plastic food bag and leave to rise for one hour. It's perfect when the dough has risen to fill the tin and it no longer springs back when you press it down.

4. Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. With a knife, make several slashes to the top of the loaf, then bake for 30-35 minutes. When risen and golden, tip the loaf onto a wire rack and tap the base of the bread to ensure it's cooked. Leave to cool.

Now, just slather on some butter, sit on your comfy couch and enjoy GBBO!

Here in Ireland we know our food is second to none, but over in the US, we're mainly known for Guinness and stew.

So we were pleasantly surprised to see an Irish kitchen favourite getting a shout-out from none other than Kourtney Kardashian.

The mum-of-three finally launched her official website and app this week – a full three months after her sisters did the same – and one of the recipes contains a very familiar brand name.

If you plan on making Kourt's Krispies (basically glorified Rice Krispie shapes), you better have some Irish butter to hand, because the reality star specifically stipulates the use of Kerrygold butter in her ingredients list.

Amazing!

Of course, Kerrygold isn't just an Irish staple – it's also available across Europe and the US.

A spokesperson for the butter's manufacturer, Ornua, said the company was "delighted" to see Kerrygold "making its way into Kourtney Kardashian’s kitchen."

As well as recipes, Kourtney promises fans will receive a glimpse into her life via her new app, with personal journal entries, decorating tips and more all available to those who sign up.

Muffins! Healthy muffins for everyone! Ok fine, so perhaps not as healthy as we would like, but they make a definite improvement from devouring an entire bag of crisps in one go.

As we approach the festive season we become increasingly aware of two things. One being that attempting to maintain (or indeed start) a healthy diet at Christmas time is next to impossible, and also all anyone ever does when the weather gets rough is develop a craving for comfort foods.

So, we found this recipe for what essential become sweet potato muffins, just without the trickier aspects of baking with vegetables.

Ingredients
4 Large Sweet Potatoes
2 Tbsp Salted Butter – Melted
2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
3/4 tsp Ground Cumin
1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
12-15 Marshmallows

Method

Carefully slice Sweet Potatoes into 1/8 inch slices – add to a large mixing bowl.

Add melted butter, coconut oil, cumin, cinnamon, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat potato slces. Mix in the parmesan cheese.

In a greased cupcake tin stack the sweet potato chips to fill each cup. Bake in preheated oven for 50-55 minutes until tops and edges nicely brown. Remove from oven and top each stack with a marshmallow. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes – watching carefully – until the marshmallows have a light brown and have puffed up.

Remove from oven – carefully pat down each marshmallow to form a nice dome over the stack. Let cool slightly before removing from pan.

Yes, it is true, we have never met a cake, pastry or chocolate-peanut butter concoction we haven't loved.

Don't even get us started on the cheesecakes. Naturally when we found this beauty of a recipe online we had to share it with everyone.

Just look this!

This cookie is the size of a steering wheel for goodness sake, and we love. We love it so much that we think everyone should try it and allow the deliciousness and sugar content to brighten up this chilly winter weekend. Also, it is very easy to make, so there's really no excuse.

Enjoy!

Ingredients

Soft carmel pieces (to be melted because nom)

Cookie dough x2

Chocolate chips (or M&Ms if you're feeling very fancy)

One giant dish to cook it in, the bigger the better.

We love sweet treats here in SHEmazing! HQ (just check our Instagram page for proof), so when we came across these new baking inventions, we had to share the delightfulness with you all.

Whether you want to try to bake these at home or just plan to eat them, here are five sweet trends to get your teeth into:

The Biskie

Part-biscuit, part-cake, it’s the buttercream filling of a Victoria sponge sandwiched between two chewy cookies.

The M'hencha

Crisp flaky pastry surrounds a deliciously moist frangipane, orange, cinnamon and date filling. They’re made to share, but we won’t judge if you don’t.

The Ice-cream Macaron

Part ice-cream sandwich, part fancy French macaron? We think all of our dreams have come true!

The Canelé

The canelé is a caramelised sponge filled with custard but the new version is infused with chilli-spiced ganache and lavender custard.

The Paris Brest

A traditional French wheel-shaped choux pastry with a praline cream centre has been given a make-over of a banana créme brulée filling. YUM!

For many of us, all we need for a dreary mid-week evening to improve massively is a sweet treat.

Here at SHEmazing! we can be of the belief that cake and a good cup of tea can be responsible for making a bad day infinitely better. Sometimes you just need to treat yourself.

The only down side can be that often our favourite snacks can leave us feeling a little bit guilty, but when we think of comfort food kale smoothies are not exactly top of the list.

This chocolate and peanut butter cake however sounds like exactly what we want.

Not only is this absolutely delicious (trust us, we have sampled a slice or three) but the recipe comes from #fitspo queen Kayla Itsines. You can enjoy this cake absolutely guilt-free and by including protein you're actually adding important nutrients in your diet.

Ingredients:
Crust:
½ cup cashews
½ cup walnuts
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
8 dates, pitted
2 Tbs Cacao Powder

Filling:
½ cup of natural peanut butter
2 scoops of Whey Protein Isolate (Peanut flavoured) or 60g of powdered peanut butter
½ cup  Cottage Cheese
½ cup natural yogurt
2 Tbs Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 tsp Coconut Oil
2 Tbs Maple Syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate Topping:
2 tbs coconut oil, melted, 1 tbs maple syrup, 2 tbs raw cacao powder and 1 tsp vanilla.

Directions:

  1. Combine all crust ingredients together in a food processor until they form a crumble and then put it in a pan.
  2. Blend the cottage cheese, peanut butter and natural yoghurt together. Add in the remaining filling ingredients.
  3. Make the chocolate topping by combining all ingredients together.
  4. Pour the filling mixture on top of the crust. Smooth down with a spatula and pour over chocolate topping. Chill for one hour.
  5. After the pie has chilled, take it out and remove from the pan.
  6. Eat all of the cake!

Who doesn’t love dessert? Around here we are big fans of all kinds of desserts.

From cupcakes to ice cream and pretty much anything else you would find on the dessert menu, we are generally going to be wanting to try a slice. Or two. Ok fine three.

One thing we are not wild about however is that having a sweet tooth is not exactly the best when trying to live a healthy lifestyle. So, we found ten ways that you essentially cheat yourself into eating dessert all the time.

Healthy Brownies

This is basically salad, right?

Chocolate cake! With bananas and almonds, yum.

You could even call this breakfast.

Berry crumble.

Again, all this fruit and nuts mean we can have cake for breakfast.

Peanut butter cups.

With bonus chocolate.

Strawberry shortcake.

Which is also vegan-friendly.

Banoffee Pie.

Give us all the pie.

Almond ice cream.

Amazing.

Chocolate chip blondies.

Healthy treats for everyone!

No bake cookies.

Sugar free but still delicious.

New and bizarre make-up trends are constantly popping up all over the internet, some good, some bad and some very, very ugly.

But there are definitely a few worth taking a look at as they could change your beauty routine forever. Coming straight from the celebs with their #flawless selfies, here's everything you need to know.

Baking
If you want gorgeously illuminated eyes like J-Lo this is the beauty hack for you. Begin by putting a blendable concealer on your T-zone and under your eyes, then pat a yellow-toned loose powder on top. Let it sit for about ten minutes, allowing your body's own natural heat to bake the products together. After the time is up, wipe away any excess powder and you're good to go!

Strobing
This technique is actually quite simple and a much easier method than Kim K's signature contouring. Strobing focuses on highlighting prominent points of your face without any bronzer or shading powder. All you need to do is get your favourite highlighter – the type doesn't matter – and blend the product over the high points of your cheek bones, the bridge of your nose and cupids bow. Be careful and use a light hand as you don't want to look like a shiny disco ball.

Cut – Crease Eye Shadow
Playing with the placement of your crease can really give you a more exaggerated look, so this method is great if you want to give your eyes an instant boost. Simply apply a base coat all over your eye lid, and use a liquid liner to draw a dramatic cat-eye wing on your lid. Next, with an angled brush and a neutral shadow colour, create a curve until you hit the edge of your liner. Blend it upwards and hey presto – completely dramatic eye make up in an instant!

Over Lining
We can all thank Kylie Jenner for this one! To get her look (without having to resort to lip fillers) all you have to do is use a natural dark lip liner to outline all over the crease of your lips. The next step is to get a lighter shade of lipstick and smack it on your pout. And that's it, plumper lips without any hassle!
