Listen, we're all for mad makeup, and rainbow eyeshadow palettes.

However, I think sometimes we forget to actually mind our skin, before we get all creative with the cosmetics.

And while I may not be particularly old (yet), I have become more aware of my skin in recent years.

I cleanse, tone and moisturise daily, use all the oils and serums I can get my hands on, and of course, LASH on the sudo creme when I break out.

However, one thing I didn't really do until a couple of months back was use eye cream.

Lads – we all need to use eye cream! I'm telling you.

Anyhoo, I tried a few different brands, and different products within said brands – and landed a fave.

I landed on Yonka, who I was already obsessed with before I discovered their eye cream!

Specifically, I adore their Alpha Contour eye cream – and you can also use it on your lips. Double whammy!

Anyway, I digress.

Basically, Yonka have class eye creams, and they just so happen to be having a special May promotion, where all these eye creams are 20%.

Usually €37, the creams will be on sale for €31 – making them very, very good value for the eye cream market.

Give it a go, I promise you won't be disappointed.

In fairness, it would seem as though we're faced with a new hair trend every single week.

From the return of the 90s bob to the glory of the rose chocolate hair colour trend – we genuinely can't keep up.

Despite the fact that we are overrun with trends, we are loving each and every one of them (some more than others though).

We love seeing people rock daring new looks, but we're simple creatures, who love a good curly blow dry and a bitta balayage.

HOWEVER, the Internet's latest offering comes in the form of 'fruit juice hair' and it is mad, but also very wearable.

The wonderful hairstylist behind this new look is Alisha  McAlister, who shared the image on Instagram.

"I’m not sure what to call this!" she said in the caption.

"It’s a mix of blended fruit colours. I started this hair colour thinking I was doing a simple base and tone. Then my amazing client surprised me! She said, 'I want something different!'

I’m not sure what to call this! It’s a mix of blended fruit colors. I started this hair color thinking I was doing a simple base and tone. Then my amazing client surprised me! She said, “I want something different!” So yay for stylist choice night! Pops of Ignite Violet and Red and then I honestly toned the whole thing with Manic Panic Pro Pastel-izer, 3 grams of Divine Wine, and 6 grams of Smokescreen. This is such a fun color! It’s a great way to introduce vibrant and pastel colors and the client not get fired for it! @behindthechair_com #behindthechair #btconeshot_pastel18 #btconeshot_vibrant18 #brconeshot_hairpaint18 #btconeshot_curls18 . . . . . . . #theunicorntribe #taotam #jwcignite #manicpanicprofessional #manicpanicnyc #propastelizer #divinewine #smokescreen #creativecolor #pastelhair #hairpainting #hairpainters #bestofbalayage #theprismatics #hairdressersthatslay #jackwinncolor #stylistchoice #vibrantblend #stylistssupportingstylists #balayageribboning #vividhairpainting #authentichairarmy #imallaboutdahair #ltcawards #liscensedtocreate

Full disclosure before we even begin – eyeshadow primer is not something we use on the regular.

However, when we are blessed with extra time to do our makeup, we love splashing out with primers (they make us feel extra together).

Anyway, we always have our eye out for new, amazing beauty products – and we have a new contender for our fave primer.

Bloggers and influencers across the globe are going MAD for an eyeshadow primer called Rumour Base from P.Louise Academy.

Sure, Youtuber Nikkie Tutorials has even called it "the best in the world" – we can't argue with that lads.

Oh, and did we mention it only costs a tenner? Because, that is one hell of a bargain.

The gorge ladies at Cosmopolitan said that the inspiration for the primer came from 'MAC's Select Cover Up Concealer, which Paige Louise (P.Louise) had been using as an eyeshadow primer.'

The brand has described the product as 'a luxurious creamy base to create the perfect blank canvas ready for ultimate colour popping creations'.

It has a 'super thick consistency' and a 'no cracking quality'. The dream.

P.Louise also says that the formula 'helps to cancel out any unwanted brow hair' and 'carve out those highly requested fleeky brows'.

TAKE OUR MONEY.

Sad part? The stuff is currently sold out, but we have been assured that there will be a re stock very soon.

We'll wait.

Dermalogica understands that everyone’s skin is as unique as they are. That’s why it’s the number one choice of skin care professionals worldwide. Their products combine scientific innovation with powerful natural ingredients so that everyone can experience healthy glowing skin, for life. The NEW Dermalogica Sound Sleep Cocoon™ delivers advanced ingredients that work with and optimise the skin’s natural active overnight repair & recovery process. And we have two up for grabs – one for you and one for your bestie.

There’s a serious stigma about sleep. In today’s increasingly interconnected, 24/7 world we view it as a period of idleness or lost productivity, and we try to get by on as little as possible. Most of us don’t realise that the hours we spend asleep are actually among our most productive: when it comes to your skin care routine, sleep is a crucial component for the skin’s recovery from the assaults of the day. Just a few nights of missed sleep can lead to dull skin and fine lines, and chronic sleep deprivation leads to dark circles and early ageing.

While our ‘always on’ attitude means we won’t be getting more sleep any time soon – NEW Sound Sleep Cocoon™ is a revitalising treatment gel-cream that works with the skin’s natural overnight repair and recovery process to optimise the skin benefits of the sleep we do get, delivering glowing skin by morning. Because skin is best able to absorb active ingredients at night, Sound Sleep Cocoon™ is formulated with motion-activated essential oils to soothe senses with aromatherapy and promote deep, restful sleep for healthier-looking skin.

Ingredient features and benefits include:

Encapsulated essential oil with motion-activated technology encapsulated, motion-activated French Lavender oil, along with calming Sandalwood and Patchouli, soothe the senses with aromatherapy to help promote deep, restful sleep for healthier-looking skin
Albizia Julibrissin Bark Extract (Persian Silk Tree) reduces signs of skin fatigue and restores vitality.
Evodia Rutaecarpa Fruit Extract (Fruits of Wu-Zhu in traditional Chinese medicine) provides visibly radiant skin by morning and promotes a more refined skin texture.
Kakadu Plum Extract, rich in antioxidant Vitamin C, is clinically shown to improve and brighten skin tone.
• Tamarindus Indicia (Tamarind Seed Extract) is a polysaccharide that cushions skin, creating a nourishing cocoon of comfort for softer, more hydrated skin.

Smooth over face and neck as the last step in your night-time regimen, allowing the gel-cream to melt into skin overnight. The Sound Sleep Cocoon, 50ml, RRP €86.50 and is be available at Dermalogica-authorised spas, salons and skin centres, and at dermalogica.ie.

The fabulous folk at Dermalogica have given us two to give away to one lucky SHEmazing reader and her friend – to be in with a chance to win, just fill in your details below. Good luck

This competition is closed.

Congratulations to Nicola O’Neill – well done Nicola, we have sent you an email. Thank you to everyone who entered Sx

Unless you've been gifted with perfectly clear and radiant skin, you'll know that not all skincare products deliver the results they promise.

Maybe you've chosen the wrong product for your skin type, or perhaps the chemical in a certain cream have caused you to break-out, either way, if you've had an adverse reaction to a heavily manufactured product, it might be worth considering some more natural ways to look after you skin.

Yeates Natural Products in a Irish company making skin care products using 100 per cent natural ingredients.

Created by Terry Yeates, the idea for the business came about while his wife Mary was recovering from cancer.

After she was advised to steer clear of certain beauty products which may have high levels of hormones and other synthetic compounds, Terry decided to make a natural skin cream that she could use.

"Modern lifestyles don't always create optimal conditions for physical wellness, as environmental toxins can leave the body unbalanced.  However this can be addressed by using my natural products made from pure oils," he says.

"Parabens and synthetic free, we never test on animals, or buy from any supplier that tests on animals. We are Vegan Friendly and use 100% recyclable packaging. The  problem with conventional skincare products is that you don't know what's in them and what effect they can have on your body.  So if you want to know what's in the bottle, go natural!"

From lavender hand cream to natural clay cleansers, Yeates Natural Beauty products have everything you need to revamp your entire skin-care routine.

Seriously, when will it STOP?

We've been patient and accepting with regards to bizarre eyebrow trends.

We've even kind of enjoyed some of them, like the jewelled brows and Insta-worthy eyebrows.

However, with the Internet's latest offering, we are throwing in the towel – we cannot take it anymore.

Someone has created halo brows, and they are actually unacceptable.

Listen, we are all for trying mad trends, trust us! We've dyed the hair, applying the mad lippy and on occasion smothered ourselves in glitter.

But this is a step too bloody far for us tbh.

Beauty blogger Hannah Lyne told POPSUGAR: "I was having a conversation with a friend trying to come up with a new idea for a look, and all of a sudden it came to me that I should connect my brow tails," Hannah explained.

Image result for how about no gif

"This look was influenced by fishtail brows; seeing the way my brow flicked upwards inspired the idea of just carrying the brow on until it met in the middle."

We still can't fully decide if she's being serious or not…

In recent years, we have seen so many bizarre hair trends, from rainbow hair to unicorn hair, and we loved all of them.

50 shades of… Ah, you know. @mizzchoi, mega babe & magician #greyhair #greyombre #summerhair #hair

A photo posted by  S E E N A (@theseena) on

HOWEVER, while these mad trends were very cool and Insta-worthy, we wouldn’t be brave enough to try them.  Gigi Hadid is the doyenne of all things hair so it’s not surprising that she has tried balayage and looked amazing.

That is why this latest hair trend has us all excited… because it looks gorgeous on literally EVERYONE.

Ash balayage is doing the rounds on Instagram at the moment, and starts as any normal balayage hair colour would—with dark-toned roots.  Now don’t be confused, it’s a completely different colour to the original blond balayage which celebs like Blake Lively embraced particularly during her pregnancy.

The hair colour shifts towards a lighter, ashy blonde colour, until gradually fading out into a greyish/silver shade.

Whilst this DEFINITELY one our favourite hair trend of 2018 so far we still can’t help but love the original brown balayage trend.

It is ash-aloutley fabulous.
