Beyoncé has been keeping all of us gripping the edge of our seats as she teased a big announcement to be made on Good Morning America.

Speculation was out of control all over social media with many guessing there may be a new collaboration with husband Jay-Z in the works. Some even went so far as suggesting there could be a sibling for the adorable Blue Ivy en route.

However, surprising just about everyone, Mrs Carter has instead revealed… a new diet secret. Hmmm, no wonder some fans are feeling a bit short-changed.

Still, there's no doubt that Beyonce's body is pretty darn amazing – and, certainly, we were all ears when the megastar began to open up about how she achieved her newly slim body.

Apparently it’s all down to the “22 Day Revolution”, designed by Marco Borges. In fact, Queen B is such a big fan she’s even written the forward for the book.

Addressing her appearance, Beyoncé admitted “I have struggled since a young age with diets. Finding something that actually works, actually keeps the weight off has been difficult for me.”

The plant-based diet promises not only to help you shed kilos, but to transform your life.

Reports have claimed that over the years the star has tried the likes of the Master-Cleanse, which involves drinking salt water in front of a mirror and a maple syrup and cayenne pepper lemonade. She's also apparently indulged in a protein-filled diet that involved two hours of exercise a day to help her get back to her pre-baby body.

Beyoncé isn’t the only celebrity fan of the 22-Day Revolution. Ryan Seacrest claims “Marco understands not only the scientific benefits to the human body, but also how to present the information in a way that is accessible, manageable, and inspirational.”

According to Beyoncé, Borges’ programme is the best for getting into serious shape saying “I felt like my skin was really firm. A lot tighter than when I deprived myself of food and got the weight off fast. And the weight stayed off.”

After being witness to that incredible Met Ball gown, we think the Grammy Award winning singer has never looked better.

Saying previously that she’s always been “very, very specific and very choosy – very choosy – about what I do with my body and who I want to share that with,” her big announcement about her diet secrets must mean she’s a serious fan. Does the name Tricia Miranda mean anything? Quite possibly it doesn't – and yet she is one of the entertainment industry's leading choreographers. 

Since moving to LA a decade-and-a-half ago, she has become the go-to expert for big-names including Britney Spears, Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Prince, Jay Z, and Usher.

Tricia has furthermore worked on movies including 17 Again, which starred Zac Efron, as well as talent search shows such as The X Factor, and So You Think You Can Dance.

She's also an internationally-respected hip-hop instructor – and it is her work in that capacity that is truly garnering attention this week. 

Filmed in late April and featuring students of Tricia's, one captivating video clip has now gone viral, notching up millions of views. It shows a rotating series of skilled dancers move to Rihanna's B**ch Better Have My Money... and it's nothing short of mind-blowing. 

Online commentators have been quick to respond too.

"Ok so my new goal in life is to take a class with @_triciamiranda," stated one fan on Twitter. Another simply said: "One day I will be able to work with the amazing @_triciamiranda."

The woman-of-the-hour herself took to Instagram to express her own gratitude. "Thank you for the 5 million views," she wrote. "Really appreciate the support guys."

From Beyonce to Rhianna, and J-Lo to Kim, this is one trend that has caused a stir on the red-carpet several times over the last year.

In fact, barely-there sheer gowns are becoming something of a regular fixture: at this year's famed Met Gala in New York, for example, Beyonce and Kimmy K went head-to-head in a dress-off as they both strutted their stuff and embraced near-nakedness.

We can't wait to see the next high-profile take on the trend, but until then, let's take a look through some of our absolute favourites…

 

Rihanna:

Want to know who's responsible for kicking off the trend in the first place? Yup, that'll be Rhianna – a celebrity rather fond of the naked-look at the best of times. At the CFDA Awards a year ago, she wore a dusty pink, see-through dress, covered top-to-bottom in Swarovski crystals and made by designer Adam Selman.

Apparently Adam designed the dress for Ri-Ri, 27, as he admires her risk-taking and he really wanted to make a statement (well, he definitely achieved that).

Kim Kardashian:

​The reality TV star and wife of rapper Kanye West never looked better than she did when she stepped out onto the Met Ball red-carpet last month. Clad in a custom Roberto Cavalli by Peter Dundas dress, the 34-year-old really turned heads.

She also donned a slicked-back pony rather than tousled tresses, so as not to hide any of the stunning Cavalli creation. 

10/10, we say.

Beyonce:

In a remarkably similar look to Kim's, 33-year-old Beyonce was equally impressive in skin-tight sheer Givenchy.

Riccardo Tisci had created the nude number which boasted only strategically placed jewels to hide Bey's modesty. The singer finished her look with a slicked back, curly ponytail, rosy pink lip and striking cat eye.

​She's no newbie to the trend either: the former Destiny's Child sported a stunning sheer gown to the same event the year before.

 

Jennifer Lopez:

But though the rest most certainly shine, we think the absolute queen of the sheer dress is none other than 45-year-old goddess Jennifer Lopez. She arrived in a see-through wonder at the Billboard Music Awards… and pretty much showed up absolutely everyone else. Is is daring? Absolutely. But does it work? Most definitely!

The mother-of-two also left nothing to the imagination at the 2015 Met Gala, arriving in a stunning red (well the little bit of material there was red, anyway) ball gown custom-made by Donatella Versace.

​And let's not forget the singer's nearly-naked look for the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party earlier this year. She looked more stunning than ever in a Zuhair Murad couture dress, which she accessorised with a white fur wrap.

The Forbes list for the World's 100 Most Powerful Women was released today, and it contains some pretty heavy hitters.

Considered the annual benchmark for the females influencing and creating change over the last 12 months, the Forbes list doesn't lie.

This year's rankings are no different, and although German Chancellor Angela Merkel topped the list for the fifth time in a row, there are some other names in there that we reckon could knock her off the number one spot next time around.

Aged just 25, Taylor Swift is the youngest woman to be included, and while she has a long way to climb, she is doing well for her first entrance in 64th place.

The singer is estimated to have a net worth of around €75 million, and her award-winning album 1989 had the biggest first-week sales of any record in a whopping 12 years.

As well as that, she still has time to chill with her BFFs… and document it all for us on social media.

Further up the list is fellow singer Beyoncé at number 21, this year's highest-ranking entertainer.

Given that Bey and her husband Jay-Z managed to generate an incredible €85 million from just 19 US shows on their On The Run tour last year, we reckon Beyoncé is a pretty powerful female alright.

US Vogue editor Anna Wintour also made it into the top 50, ranking at number 28 this year.

The famously ruthless magazine queen joins other fashion heavyweights Diane Von Furstenberg (75th place) and Miuccia Prada (79th place) on the 2015 list.

Modern Family star Sofia Vergara might seem like an unusual inclusion at 57th place, but considering that she is currently the highest paid woman in television, we can see why she deserves a nod.

Sofia reportedly takes home €300K per 25-minute episode of the show, and that's not counting her film roles and endorsement deals.

Coming in just behind Angela Merkel in second and third place this year are US Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, along with philanthropist Melinda Gates, wife of Microsoft founder Bill Gates.

Other big names to make the list include Oprah Winfrey (12th place), Ellen DeGeneres (50th place),  Angelina Jolie (54th place) and Shakira (81st place).

That is quite a group of women!

All eyes were on Beyoncé and Jay-Z as they arrived fashionably late to this year’s Met Gala, and while last-minute hair and outfit changes have been blamed for their tardiness, fresh rumours have suggested it was something else entirely.

Apparently, last year’s infamous elevator fight was playing on the stars’ minds as they set off for the event, with the tension resulting in an alleged ‘bust-up’ on the way to the celebrity bash.

A source told Closer magazine: “Beyoncé and Jay got into a bust-up on the way there. They were both on edge after last year and Beyoncé told Jay he wasn’t allowed to leave her side – he then told her he didn’t want to feel on a leash.”

“It led to some strong words. They put on smiles for the camera but there was tension behind the scenes,” the source added.

If the report is indeed true, it just sounds like a normal couple tiff to us. After all, who could blame Bey and Jay for being a little nervous after the fallout from the footage of Solange attacking the rap mogul?

One thing’s for sure – they certainly stole the show and proved their power couple status on the night.

Yes, Beyonce has reportedly been given a dragon's egg by her adoring husband of seven years.

And after sourcing the rare, intricate egg from the Game Of Thrones set, we're guessing that Jay Z is seriously in her good books, 

When asked about where the eggs had ended up, the show's Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, the Mother Of Dragons, told the current edition of Harper's Bazaar: "Apparently Jay Z bought one for Beyoncé, or something. I don't know! 

The 28-year-old added: "They are really, really, really, expensive and they are really f***ing heavy and serious works of art."

Well, if true, we bet the gift looks really, really, really lovely on Beyoncé's mantelpiece.

And this wouldn't be the first time our favourite couple have spoilt each other: they are well-known for their expensive tastes and er, slightly bizarre gift-giving.

She is increasingly happy to highlight her generous derriere in tight clothing – and now it seems that she’s taking inspiration from another bootylicious star.

Yes, a slimmed-down Khloe Kardashian took to Instagram last night, showing off a series of seductive shots. Just a week ago, Beyonce took a remarkably similar stance while posing for pictures at the Met Ball.

Khloe has already publicly declared her admiration for Ms Knowles. Indeed, when the reality TV star saw the singer arrive at the high-profile social event in New York, she gushed: “I just got my motivation for the year!! Holy moly!! Yes!!!! I see you!!!! Shut it down…”

The 30-year-old Kardashian earlier this year revealed the secret to her weight-loss. “About two years ago I decided to turn to fitness as a form of therapy and as a stress reliever. I started slow and eventually I started working out four to five days a week,” she said.

“We all have to start somewhere and doing something is better than nothing at all. Start small so you don’t get discouraged and give up. Remember it is all about consistency.

Vogue US has just released the front cover for its special edition Met Gala issue, and there's one glaring absence from the list of celebrities who made the cut.

Singer Rihanna was crowned Anna Wintour's style winner on the night, and graces the cover in her stunning canary yellow floor-sweeping gown, a creation by Chinese designer Guo Pei.

Riri shared the exciting news with her 18.6m Instagram followers today, posting an image of the vibrant cover and writing, "WOW!!! I am very honored to have this image selected for the new cover of @voguemagazine !! #metgala2015 #art #fashion #Vogue"

The competition was stiff at this year's Gala, with Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Kendall Jenner and more all looking downright fabulous, and receiving their rightful recognition in the list of celebrity names featured on the special Vogue cover. 

However despite Kim Kardashian's stunning Roberto Cavalli ensemble, her name didn't make the cover – something which many are taking as a direct snub from Anna Wintour to Kim and Kanye.

The star couple's names were featured on last year's Met Gala cover, and they even graced the front of Vogue themselves back in April 2014.

Since then though, Kim and Kanye's appeal seems to have worn off for Anna, and it seems once you're out of the editor's good books you won't get back in.

After all, who can forget her face earlier this year when little North West had a temper tantrum in the middle of Kanye's Adidas show at New York Fashion Week?

We can't decide who looks more upset, Anna or North…

Kim didn't exactly make things easy for herself on the night of the Met Gala by outright ignoring Anna's "selfie ban" and posting a number of pictures from inside the event, which many say may have led to the decision to cut her name from the cover.

As for Rihanna, she definitely seems to be the star of the moment at Condé Nast, as this is her second year running as cover star for the Vogue Met Gala issue:

It's definitely well deserved for RiRi, but we doubt Kim's too happy all the same.

Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce and Kim Kardashian all turned up at the Met Ball in New York last night donning daring dresses that exposed oodles of flesh. 

With nothing more than strategically-placed beading, embroidery, and sequin to protect their modesty, the trio of superstars certainly demanded plenty of attention.

Jennifer opted for a Versace dragon dress in bright red – a nod to the night's theme: China, Through The Looking Glass. Donetella Versace had earlier teased reporters by telling them that the singer's attire was best viewed from behind.

Beyonce went for Givenchy, pulling a series of fierce poses on the red-carpet alongside her husband, Jay Z. She wore her hair in a high-top ponytail, allowing for the full effect of her dramatic garb to be appreciated. She also piled on spectacular cocktail rings to complete the look.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian stole the show arriving on the arm of her husband of almost a year, Kanye West, in a bespoke Roberto Cavalli gown complete with a sweeping white-feathered train. It was designed by newly-instated creative director Peter Dundas, who only left his post at Emilio Pucci weeks ago.

The Met Ball is hosted by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Tickets to the event costs an eye-watering €22,500 – though all the big celebrities are invited by the major fashion houses who buy up tables to promote their brand.

While the eyes of the world may have been on the Mayweather v Pacquaio super-fight last night, it was Beyoncé who undoubtedly stole the show.

The stunning singer took up a ringside seat with husband Jay-Z, and caused quite the stir in her fabulous outfit. Indeed, if social media is anything to go by, the star’s bright red plunging number posed quite the distraction to viewers.

One Twitter user wrote: “This just in: Mayweather and Pacquaio both forfeit and Beyoncé wins.”

Another social media user gave in to Beyoncé’s ‘Queen B’ status as he wrote: “Apparently Beyoncé won tonight. I can live with that.”

Those caramel tresses, that perfect pout – we are in awe, B!

Of course, we have to give props to Jay-Z in all of this too, with the rap star looking typically dapper in a silver tuxedo.

The Carters were just two of a host of famous faces who turned out for the event in Manila, with Bradley Cooper, Jake Gyllenhaal, Denzel Washington and Nicki Minaj among them.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, it was Floyd Mayweather who claimed the victory. Beyoncé though….

It’s not very often that we get a major insight into the lives of a power couple like Beyoncé and Jay-Z, but this weekend the Crazy In Love singer has done just that.

Marking her mum Tina’s marriage to Richard Lawson earlier this month, the star decided to share stunning photos from the day, with husband Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy at the centre of the celebrations and precious moments.

Tina need not have worried about anyone stealing her thunder on her big day, as the theme appears to have been all-white!

Photos from the ceremony, which took place on a swanky yacht, show the extended family bonding together, and those who remember that whole Jay-Z/ Solange elevator drama (who could forget?) will notice the pair enjoying each other’s company.

One of the most beautiful images from the day shows doting dad Jay dancing with three-year-old daughter Blue out on the dancefloor – how adorable!

Of course, Beyoncé and Jay-Z weren’t the only celebrities to attend Tina’s nuptials, with Kelly Rowland and The Vampire Diaries star Bianca Lawson also posing for photos.

Just another day in Beyoncé’s fabulous life, then. We’re jealous.
