It looks like Jay Z and Beyoncé got an early start to Valentine’s Day.

Yesterday, the rap mogul treated his wife with a $2,390 gold and silver Tacori Promise bracelet.

What’s even more cute about the gift is the actual meaning of the piece of jewellery.

Apparently the band represents two individuals uniting through a promise and once the bracelet is fastened only the key holder can unlock is – Mr. Carter in this case.

The Drunk In Love rapper gave his other half an early gift because, “Beyoncé is always so eager and you can’t keep any secrets from her.”

There’s no doubt this gift is one of many – we can’t wait to see what else is in store for the 33-year-old diva.

Is the president of America having an affair?

A French photographer who was the first to confirm that France’s head of state was cheating on his first lady, Valerie Trierwelier, now claims that Barack Obama and Beyoncé are at it as well.

Claims of an affair between 52-year-old Obama and the 32-year-old singer were first made on Europe 1 radio station yesterday and have been circulating ever since.

Mr Obama is a big fan of the Drunk In Love singer and has invited her to perform on several occasions, one of which was his wife’s 50th birthday at the White House last month.

Although it has been reported that Barack and his wife have been a bit distant lately, we hope that these rumours aren’t true – especially since an alleged affair between Bill Clinton and Elizabeth Hurley turned out to be a big lie.

Let’s hope for the same thing here!

If you saw the Grammy Awards this weekend you would have noticed that Beyoncé is looking very lean and sculpted having lost a considerable amount of weight.

Don’t get us wrong, she looks incredible as always which has us wondering if it is down to the 22-day vegan challenge that she undertook with husband Jay-z at the end of last year.

Bey took to her Instagram account during the challenge, updating yummy vegan food pictures to her 9.5 million followers.

While we also love our Bootylicious Beyoncé(2000’s joke, sorry) , she also looked amazing at the weekend.

We wish we could get our hands on some of this scrumptious-looking vegan food. Well done to them for trying to lead a healthier lifestyle – it certainly paid off!

Taking to Instagram, she posted an old (old) photo of her posing with the Grammy Award she won for singing a couple of lines on Nelly’s Dilemma track.

Drunk In Love singer Beyoncé wore a daring body suit to show off the figure she now has after doing a 22-day vegan diet challenge.

And as for Jay Z, there’s no doubt that his Best Rap/Sung Collaboration award had an effect on his performance on stage.

The power couple were added to the line up on Sunday night and fans will no doubt be anticipating the performance of a lifetime.

While Jay-Z is up for nine nominations, his partner won’t be seeing any statues this year as her new album wasn’t released on time. Oh well, there is always next year Bey – if you have any room left on your shelves that is!

Other stars set to perform at the awards ceremony include Lorde, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Daft Punk. It has also been speculated that Madonna may also make an appearance.

It looks like Ms Bey was lucky enough to perform at Michelle Obama’s birthday party in the White House on Saturday night.

The singer shared these pictures of herself, husband Jay-z and little cutie Blue Ivy on her website.

In one snap, it looks as if the star is having her make-up done, perhaps before a performance for the First Lady. In another she is seen with the Obamas’ dog, Bo.

There are also some cute snaps of Blue Ivy walking with her parents into the White House – look how sweet her outfit is!

As we mentioned before, this is a party we would have liked to attend however our invite must have gotten lost in the post. Guess we’ll just have to be happy looking at the photos.

Beyoncé’s contribution to The Shriver Report has been released and it is being talked about everywhere we go. The report, founded by Maria Shriver, former first lady of California, aims to modernise America’s relationship to women.

The ‘Is Beyoncé a Feminist?’ debate trundles on with many claiming she empowers women and pushes for change, while others say she just dresses provocatively and is actually a slave to the male-dominated music industry.

Now Bey has waded in with her essay titled “Gender equality is a myth,” which stresses the point that gender equality is not a reality yet.

She goes on to say that “the average working woman earns only 77 per cent of what the average working man makes”. You can’t mess with statistics and frankly, those ones are damning.

How do we change our society’s attitude towards women according to Beyoncé? The answer, for her, lies in teaching future men of the world about equality so as they grow older it becomes a “natural way of life” as well as showing girls that they can “reach as high as humanely possible”.

Well, if any woman can show young girls that they can reach as high as possible, be whoever they want to be and realise their dreams, it’s you, Beyoncé!
