You could probably even say we're a bit obsessed.

Something we never really hear of though, is their nightly routines and what they do just before bedtime.

Well not anymore, as we have the inside scoop on what 5 leading ladies do just before they say "good night".

Gwyneth Palthrow

Gwyneth handles her family life, movie career, her blog Goop, any many other business by taking a relaxing bath at the end of each day.

“I take an Epsom salt bath every night to wind down,” Gwyneth Paltrow told Elle. “I use a lot of organic essential oils on my pressure points.”

"It's the perfect antidote to a full-on day."

 

Vera Wang

Vera is one of the most successful designers of our time and thanks to relaxation in her room, she manages to cope with daily stresses.

“My bedroom is my sanctuary,” Wang told Fortune. 

“It’s like a refuge, and it’s where I do a fair amount of designing—at least conceptually if not literally.”

 

Blake Lively

Blake looks like a fairy princess and has a smile that could brighten up anyones day.

And what does she have to thank keeping calm and beautiful? Chocolate. Yep, chocolate is a part of both her morning and night routines.

“I can’t start my day without a cup of hot milk chocolate or finish without crunching a few dark chocolate squares. It’s good for my morale," Ms Lively told Marie Claire.

The leading actess and writer of our time told Huffington Post that she always keeps a stack of books by her bed, “all in various states of having-been-read-ness.” "My past books include Diane Keaton’s autobiography Then Again and Mary Gaitskill’s Bad Behaviour.

On her famous website, Conrad stresses the importance of making time for yourself, setting measurable goals, and keeping a to-do list by your bed.

We think Conrad must live what she preaches, because her life seems pretty well kept!

In the past ten years, hair extensions have become a big business. 

Especially in the aftermath of the 'lob' when so many of us took the chop, extensions have boomed all over the world.

Most celebrities, including Blake Lively and Elle Macpherson are admittedly well acquainted with them and most have relied on clip-ins to add volume and length for red carpet events.

Also many Irish celebrities such as Rosanna Davison, Georgia Salpa and Roz Purcell rely on extensions to give their hair more bounce and flare. Ceira Lambert and Zero One salon are huge in Ireland for giving the elite the best extensions on the market – and the demand is growing more and more every year. 

Despite all of this, hair extensions can still have a reputation for looking fake and obvious, as well as being hard to look after.

Extension professional Louise Bailey tells Harper's Bazaar about all the ins and outs of hair extensions – from which ones are best, to which last longer and which are easier to look after. 

What type is best?

"The quality of natural extensions is better and they offer a more natural finish," explains Louise. "Synthetic hair is more obvious and burns when you use heat on it. 

"Remy quality human hair extensions are best as these are less irritating and easier to work with."

 

Temporary Vs permanent

Permanent hair extensions are amazing as you'll never be without gorgeous locks. However, they are also harder to look after and they need a lot of maintenance – as well as being way more expensive. Clip-ins are a good alternative – and they can last for six months if you look after them properly.

Plus the beauty of clip ins is you can take them out: so they're good for experimenting with different colours and lengths. 

 

How should you care for clip ins?

"Wash the ends before each use to give them volume and apply a heat protect product before using heated tools, like you would your natural hair," Louise tells the magazine.

 

How to find the right shade

Extensions are already dyed and come in tonal hair shades. Louise says that most hair extension specialists will use about three or more shades in any given hair to achieve a natural looking finish.

However if you're matching the colours yourself, try to get a tester swatch and compare the shades in natural light for the best outcome. 

 

Length and volume

"For length, attach the clip-ins lower down," says Louise. "If your hair is short or you want to want extra volume, go further up to toward your crown."

It's been nine months since actress Blake Lively welcomed a daughter with husband Ryan Reynolds, and she's decided its time to honour the little one… in a very pricey way.

The Gossip Girl star, who has her own lifestyle and fashion site, has launched a diaper bag named after baby James. 

So far, so sweet. The catch? If you want to get your hands on "Blake's baby bag" bag, made by US company Sandast, you'll need to drop a cool $860 (€765).

The James Bag comes in a deep purple or a sapphire blue shade and is made from "premium" leather with an "imported zipper from Switzerland". It's only available for purchase from Blake's site, Preserve.com and is described as being "custom made."

The new mum has become more involved with the design process for Preserve pieces of late, even helping to design a number of dresses for the site. 

"I may not be able to draw worth a lick, but I am proud of this dress I co-designed with Amour Vert," she wrote back in June, sharing a picture of a white and pink Fifties-inspired outfit.

While baby James is definitely not old enough to appreciate having a bag worth hundreds of dollars named after her, we're sure she'll have many more items designed in her honour over the coming years. And hopefully they won't be quite as expensive as this first one…

We've seen her pull off brown, black and even blue locks – but for the first time, Kylie Jenner has opted for a seriously lighter look.

And we love it!

The reality TV star, who turns 18 next week, took to Snapchat to unveil her new tresses – delighting fans in the process.

The teenager showed off her plumped her lips – which she admitted earlier this year to having had enhanced through temporary fillers – and stuck her tongue out the side of her mouth.

Bronde – a mixture of brunette and blonde hair – has also recently been seen on the likes of Blake Lively, Chrissy Teigen, and Ashley Tisdale.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Kylie has the world's most viewed Snapchat account. She also has 30.2million followers on Instagram.

However, it should be noted that Ms Jenner has tricked us before: she once donned a bright blonde wig.

Either way, we reckon she looks very like a young Angelina Jolie!

New mum Blake Lively has been enjoying a working holiday over the last week as she travels around Asia, and we are loving her updates so far. Especially her most recent one, which is something a little more risqué than we are used to from the demure blonde (or bronde, as she is these days).

Taking to Instagram this morning, the Gossip Girl actress posted a close-up shot of her top half in a pink and purple bikini, showing off her noticeably larger assets. Don't worry though, those perky boobs aren't down to surgery, as Blake was quick to point out. 

"The PERKS of breastfeeding #YesThatsRiceInMyHair #BlondevsBronde #BrondeJamesBronde," she wrote. 

Earlier this week Blake revealed she'd (kinda) ditched her signature blonde tresses  for a 'bronde' shade – a mix of brown and blonde – and it's clear she can't get enough of her new darker locks.

With Blake's husband Ryan Reynolds staying Stateside this week due to promotional commitments for his upcoming film Deadpool, it's unclear whether baby James is travelling with her mum or her dad, but we love Blake's cute (and 'perky') reference to being a new mum all the same.

The couple have been notoriously private about their new daughter since Blake gave birth over six months ago, even choosing to keep her name a secret until months later. Although James has made a couple of appearances on Blake and Ryan's social media feeds so far, we have yet to see her (no doubt adorable) little face.

Ryan Reynolds has to be our number one favourite celeb of all time to watch being interviewed.

And luckily his session with AOL Build to promote his new sci-fi thriller Self/less was no exception.

The 38-year-old Woman in Gold actor gave us a wonderful insight into his stunning wife’s dressing habits while throwing in an overwhelming amount of Beyoncé references.

During the Q&A portion of the interview, one lucky fan (he told her he loved her) asked Ryan “the two most important questions” of his life.

Drumroll please… “How does it feel to have a wife who literally slays it on the red carpet with whatever she has on?”

And number two, “What is your opinion on Beyonce?”

Are you as excited to hear his answers as we are?

Divulging the beautiful Blake’s beauty secrets, Mr Reynolds answered the audience member’s question with all the hilarious charm we have come to know and love.

“My wife knows how to work a red carpet, I’ll say that. She might be the Beyoncé of red carpets,” he joked.

“You guys see the finished product. I see a totally destroyed closet, bedroom and kitchen by the time she walks out the door. I don’t even know how shoes got in the freezer… It’s seriously nuts. There’s kung fu involved. It’s really intense. “

And what does he think about Queen B?

“She is the Michael Jordan of music to me.” Ryan is just LOVING his nonsensical comparisons, right?

“You can’t really say she’s the this of the that, that terrible thing that everybody does. Honestly, she’s the Michael Jackson of Beyoncé.”

It’s okay Ryan, we know what you mean and love you for it!

Blake Lively is famous for her beachy blonde locks, but the mum of one has decided to ditch her signature colour… almost.

The Gossip Girl star took to Instagram yesterday to reveal that she's mixed things up with a new 'bronde' shade… a mix of brunette and blonde, doncha know. Blake, who is currently on a shoot in Asia for jewellery brand Live Lokai, posted a couple of snaps to Instagram yesterday showing off her new darker shade.

Although we found it hard to take our eyes off the scenery in this gorgeous forest photo, Blake's darker, almost auburn tones were definitely visible in the close-up photo which she captioned, "Holy cow! A heart shaped mountain. Nothing more perfect than nature. Time to protect it!!!"

The actress also shared a second photo which showed her new style to full effect. "Brondes have more fun #NoTypos IKnowIThinkItsCrazyToo" she wrote.

So Blake definitely seemed happy with the change, but what does her husband Ryan Reynolds think? Luckily for us, one E! reporter found out the answer to that very pressing question just yesterday. "You know, I like it all," Ryan told E! during an interview to promote his new thriller Self/Less. "That's the great thing about our weird jobs. We come home sorta looking different once in a while."

This is not the first time Blake has gone for a change from her usual blonde. Back in 2011 she rocked fiery red locks for a time after getting a colour change for her role in Hick:

Anyone that has seen Gossip Girl will understand what we mean, Serena van der Woodsen had it all. The perfect life, the perfect boyfriend (or boyfriends) and the MOST perfect style.

With work keeping them apart, and a baby daughter to look after, it's no wonder that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynold's three-year marriage has reportedly been under a lot of strain in recent months.

But after maintaining a dignified silence in the face of continued split rumours, Blake today seemed to tell the world that she and her husband are as solid as ever.

Marking Ryan's very first Father's Day – James was born in December – Ms Lively posted a humorous message to her Instagram account.

With an accompanying image of a strapping-looking Mr Reynolds cradling his daughter in a harness, the 27-year-old actress wrote: "Happy Fathers Day!!! … @vancityreynolds.

"Since the day our baby was born, I've felt so strongly in my heart that you were most likely the father."

However, she countered the light-heartedness of the online memo with a touching hastag: #ILoveYouSoMuchItsSilly

The pair, who met on the set of Green Lantern in early 2010 and began dating in October 2011, have so far not released any pictures of their daughter.

Still, in Blake's shot from today, James's tiny sock-clad feet can be sticking out from the bottom of her harness. 

Last month, Ryan, 38, also shared on Instagram a snap of his hand and his daughter's intertwined. 

Both actors have spoken gushingly of their love of parenthood, though on a recent airing of the Tonight Show, Blake jokingly told host Jimmy Fallon that she does "everything". "He does nothing!" she added.

Definitely one of our favourite Hollywood couples, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are just SO adorable.

However, and while the duo rarely look less than perfect on the red-carpet, according to recent reports there may be trouble in paradise.

Yes, it seems that the couple are struggling to juggle their demanding schedules and care for their young daughter, James, who was born in December. 

In fact, it seems that they are now increasingly living separate lives: their last public outing together was on February 28.

A source close to Ryan and Blake told RadarOnline.com, that they are on the verge of splitting up after just three years of married life.

Allegedly, the actors have “completely drifted apart… They’re both focused on their careers, and have no time for each other”.

The genetically-gifted duo have yet to share any pictures of James with their fans, though they both have individually spoken of their love of parenthood.

Ryan is currently filming Deadpool, a super hero movie due for release in early 2016, in Canada.

Meanwhile, Blake is focusing on building her lifestyle website, Preserve.us. Age Of Adeline, which saw Blake play the leading lady, received a lot of praise but tellingly, during a promotional tour she only took to the red carpet solo.

According to the source, Ryan wishes that she would spend more time at home, and less time upstaging him on the big screen.

While Blake’s rep insisted that there were no problems in the couple’s marriage, and that they had in fact visited the sets of each other’s most recent films, sources say that jealousy remains a huge issue for the pair.

“Blake and Ryan’s career rivalry is a problem. Ryan would like a wife who stays home, but that’s not Blake!”

Ryan Reynolds may have only joined Instagram a matter of days ago but he has already become our latest insta-fav.

He has posted a picture of his little baby daughter James holding his thumb and has hearts melting everywhere.

This is the closest we have been to seeing Ryan and Blake Lively's baby, as the couple have been quite private about it since the birth.

However, Ryan opened up about fatherhood with David Letterman this year. 

"It's amazing. When we had that baby, I fell more in love with my wife than I ever had in my entire life," he admitted. 

He also said on the Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon that life with their little one is "so good," stating "She's got me wrapped around her finger. I am a slave to the rhythm." 

Blake gave birth to the couples first child, baby James, in December. They have been married since September 2012.
