Former Blue bandmember Duncan James has said he's "proud to be gay" after posting an adorable picture of himself cosying up to his Brazilian boyfriend Rodrigo Reis.

The singer explained that he has hidden his sexuality for decades after confirming his new relationship, saying; "Finally, I'm happy in my skin."

The 41-year-old emotionally showed gratitude to his fans for "amazing" support and "love" since he came out.

Writing to his Twitter followers, he scribed the caption;

"I posted this pic on my Insta yesterday and couldn't get over the amazing response, comments and love from people.

He mentioned in 2009 that he was bisexual, and came out as gay to his Blue bandmate Simon Webbe in 2012.

"When I told Simon, he encouraged me to speak to my mum, who was in LA with me in a hotel at the time.

"I raided my mini bar, drank a load of drinks, then knocked on her door," he continued.

"She said: 'You’re gay? I thought you were going to say you had cancer.'"

He recently told the Loose Women panel that coming out as gay was the "best thing he ever did" after years of "living a lie."

Duncan has a 14-year-old daughter Tiane from a previous relationship, and only began showing pictures of Rodrigo a month ago.

A few months ago, Will Smith appeared on the cover of Entertainment Weekly alongside the stars of Disney's live-action remake of Aladdin, and people had something to SAY.

Basically, he wasn't blue, and this deeply offended the general public. Like, DEEPLY offended. Scuba diving in the Pacific deep.

He took to Instagram to defend himself, writing; "I’m gonna be BLUE! This is how the Genie is in human or disguise form. My character will be CGI most of the movie."

However, during the Grammy's ad-break last night, a new trailer for the movie was released and once again, fans ain't happy.

Disney managed to sneak in a minute-long trailer featuring Naomi Scott as Jasmine and Mena Massoud in the protagonist role. Will Smith's turn as the Genie has EVERYONE talking.

The 50-year-old actor is under a lot of pressure, taking over the reboot role from Robin Williams' iconic performance.

Sharing his own reaction to the trailer release, Will wrote on Instagram: "I told y’all I was gon’ be Blue!! Y’all need to trust me more often!" 

When he accepted the role, the actor said: "Whenever you’re doing things that are iconic, it’s always terrifying. The question is always: Where was there meat left on the bone? Robin didn’t leave a lot of meat on the bone with the character."

The 1992 animation starred Robin Williams, and became especially iconic for his role in the voice acting and music.

The memes have already begun flowing in, and we are entertained to say the least.

There’s one thing that Disney princesses have in common- and no it isn’t the wonderful, catchy songs they get to sing every two minutes (but that too).

It has been revealed that (almost) every Disney princess wears blue, and the reason behind the common wardrobe trend is incredibly inspiring

Leatrice Eiseman of the Pantone Colour Institute spilled the details on the meaning behind their blue outfit accents.

She told Allure: 'You’re adding a bit of power to the character by giving her the blue.'

Leatrice explained that by wearing the blue the characters are helping inspire young women.

It shows them as a symbol of power and strength, so no wonder e grew up wanting to be kick-ass young women.

She revealed, “It’s a subtle way of saying, ‘“Yeah, but young women, young girls, can be empowered, too.”

Blue is also the colour of serenity and trust, which makes perfect sense because we always feel better after watching a Disney classic like Alice in Wonderland or Aladdin.

Not only have characters like Belle, Alice and Snow White taught us many lessons throughout the years, but they have also altered our moods in the simplest way.

Elsa’s blue cape and Cinderella’s blue ballgown have helped boost our moods, because,  apparently, the colour blue has the power to raise people’s spirits.

We associate the colour blue with the sky, Beatrice explained: 'It’s dependable. It’s reliable. It might cloud up, but we know it’s there.'

'It’s something to look forward to, to see that blue sky,' she added.

We knew Disney movies were good for the soul, and this just confirms it.  

If you need us we’ll be curled up under a duvet, watching Beauty and the Beast.

Today is supposed to be the most depressing day of the year, but it doesn’t have to be.

With the glitz and glam of Christmas officially behind us and looming credit card bills on the horizon, it's no surprise may of us feel disheartened at this time of the year.

1. Watch your favourite TV show

 Yes, trying to cram in the entire eight seasons is fine.

2.  Plan a holiday

Sun, sea and sand; just thinking about it is relaxing. Booking that trip in advance will give you something to look forward to.

3.  Meet up with friends

Having a good chat with your favourite people is always sure to make you feel good, so organise a catch up and go have some fun.

4.  Watch your favourite movie

So what if you’ve watched it 900 million times already, just stick it on!

5.  Eat your favourite food

Whether it be take-away, junk food or you fancy whisking something up, eating our favourite foods releases feel-good hormones – so it’s really win-win.

6. Go for a walk

Sometimes getting some fresh air can really lift our mood. Going for a walk in the park, along the beach or around the block will help blow the cobwebs away.

7.  Make a list of all the things you want to do this year

Brain dumping onto paper can really help put things into perspective. So, if you’ve been planning on taking a course, going travelling, changing job or just paying off that credit card bill, write it down, it will make you feel so much better.

The break-up blues must be hitting Kylie Jenner hard lately as she has just revealed some wild new lip colours.

The reality star took to Instagram to show off two new lip kits: 'Freedom', which is deep navy and 'Skylie', which is a bright powder blue.

In a video posted on the social media site, Kylie explained that the new colours are fo the 4th of July celebrations in America.

She also revealed that 'Skylie' is based a a blue Ferrari, and we have to say, it's not for the faint-hearted.

Kylie seems to love them, but other than going to a festival, we doubt we'll ever don these colours.

Instagram has rolled out many changes over the past few months including a new algorithm feed, a new search bar, longer videos and the choice of size for your photo.

But now the app is testing out another feature which they think will lead to more people looking at your photos.

The social media site is trying to change its colour from blue and white to black and white as they think it'll cause less distractions when your followers look at your pics.

The Verge reports that the new design is "more modern" and "less distinctive" which makes it easier to scroll down through your feed.

But don't panic yet because it's not going to change anytime soon. The company will test it out on a few guinea pigs before discussing it further which will lead to the ultimate decision.

Until then, all will be normal.

There is never a dull moment in the world of celebrity, is there?

While he shocked viewers with his saucy antics on last year’s Celebrity Big Brother, it appears that Blue singer Lee Ryan is putting that image behind him with his new role as a…priest!

According to reports, the star is planning on getting ordained so he can officiate the wedding of his friend and bandmate Anthony Costa!

If the first thing that comes to mind is Joey from Friends, then you have the right idea! Indeed, Lee is said to have been inspired by Joey’s decision to get ordained for Chandler and Monica’s wedding.

Anthony is set to tie the knot with his dental nurse fiancée, Rosanna Jasmin, this year.

A source told the Sun: “Lee wants nothing more than to perform marriage for his friends, and will go to any lengths to make sure it’s a magical day.”

“He’s a great believer in true love and is on a mission to create wonderful memories – if he can get through the vows without crying,” the source added.

What we wouldn’t give to be a fly on the wall at this wedding!

Singer Simon Webbe has revealed that he contemplated suicide in the months before his stint on Strictly Come Dancing.

The former boy band star opened up in a candid interview in the Mirror today, detailing his downward spiral after completing Blue’s last tour.

“I hated who I was and started questioning my whole life,” said the 36-year-old, adding, “I never attempted suicide but I thought about it.”

Recalling some of his darkest moments after the boys finished up their concert dates, Simon said: “I turned mirrors around so I didn’t have to look at myself. I didn’t want to be here, didn’t want to be a part of anything.”

Admitting that he didn’t leave the house “for weeks” except to buy food, the father-of-one said that he reached one of the lowest points of his life.

Happily for Simon however, his preparation for Strictly soon turned things around, with the star crediting the dance show with ‘changing his whole life’.

“Now I want to get up in the morning,” said the Guilty singer, adding, “Learning the dances every week has been like therapy.”

Despite finding himself in the bottom two last week, Simon has received praise from the judges for his skill.

We hope he goes far in the competition.

Turns out, there is just no end to Queen Bey’s talents!

For her new spread in the CR Fashion Book, Beyoncé contributed a poem instead of a traditional interview.

Entitled “Bey the Light,” the poem features the singer’s words “remixed” by writer Forrest Gander.

Kylie Jenner’s family are said to be NOT happy with her for dying her hair blue just before Kim’s wedding.

The reality TV star unveiled her newly dyed electric blue locks last week, and says her mum Kris Jenner was fuming she had made such a bold style choice so close to her sister’s wedding this Saturday!

She said, ”One day I was just like, ‘I’m going blue’. They’re all really p****d. My mom was like ‘you look like a Skittle [candy].’ I was like, ‘I’m gonna have this for two years now that you said that.’ ”

So bold!

Kim is said to be fuming with her little sister, who apparently has refused to dye her hair back to brunette for the big day.

Oh, the drama!

Maybe 16-year-old Kylie will have a change of heart nearer to the wedding, as she said she’s super excited to see Kim and Kanye tie the knot.

”We are very excited, of course a sister getting married is always exciting,” she said.

She could always be Kim’s ‘something blue’.
