How many times a day do we belittle our bodies? It's more than we would care to admit, more often than not. 

From 'too fat' to 'too skinny' and all 10,000 problems inbetween, it's incredible just how mean we can be about ourselves and how we look. 

Now, Dove have created a video that shows us just what it looks like when we say these things about ourselves – by getting an actress to say them to someone in public. 

This is a very powerful and important message and we hope we remember it the next time a negative thought enter our mind.

A new survey has found that four out of five women do not shower every day while up to 63% of the 2,021 women questioned admitted that they do not remove their make-up before bed.

The research was conducted by skincare company, Flint + Flint in order to find out how women in the UK are looking after and treating their skin.

The survey also found that a rather shocking one in three women leave it up to three days without showering and over half of women revealed they use face wipes to remove their make-up.

The findings are in contrast to what the survey also found women know about their skin; almost all of the women asked, 92%, were aware of how important looking after their skin is.

Founder of the skincare line, Maxine Flint, spoke about the perplexing findings, saying: “ I understand the appeal of sleeping in, but skipping a morning wash is both anti-social for the people around us and unhealthy. We are talking about routines that literally take minutes out of your day. It’s true that today’s pace of life is fast, but surely as a nation we haven’t become too busy to wash.”

Samm Newman, from Ohio in the US, has accused social media giant, Instagram, of deleting her account due to her size.

The teenager believed her account was deleted because she shared photos of herself in lingerie, she explained: “Fat is not a bad word. How confident can you be if you keep censoring yourself because people don’t want to look at you? My Instagram, it was my safe place because when I was there, I could share anything.”

Instagram have since reinstated the woman’s account and apologised: “When our team processes reports from other members of the Instagram community, we occasionally make a mistake. We apologise for any inconvenience.”

This is not the first time Instagram has been accused of double standards when it comes to deleting people’s accounts. Instagram is not short of women in bikinis, however, when Meghan Tonjes shared a photo of herself recently, her account was deactivated: “I have pride for my curves. My still very fat body. I like a lot.”

Many women go to great lengths in order to achieve perfection for their wedding day.

Lauren Conrad, on the other hand, seems to be taking it easy and isn’t allowing the pressure of her big day to get on top of her.

The former star of The Hills, who is set to walk up the aisle to fiancé, William Tell, spoke to People magazine about her fitness regime: “I’m not a huge fan of the gym to be honest. When I have to go to the gym and put an hour in, I’m just staring at the clock. I just like getting out, like going on a hike, going on the kayaks, going for a run on the beach.”

Lauren also opened up about treating your body right, and how she achieves body confidence: “I really love food. I’m not good at dieting. I try to make smart choices but just eat a little bit less. I am all for body confidence, but I am even more for living a healthy lifestyle. Treat your body right, exercise, eat healthy and then feeling confident in your bikini.”

Wow – we love this woman’s healthy outlook on getting fit and keeping healthy. So positive!

Victoria Beckham has divulged the secret behind maintaining her trim figure – Gwyneth Paltrow!

The fashion designer, who recently celebrated her wedding anniversary, has said that the actress inspired her to use Tracy Anderson's training method, with some serious results!

Victoria explained: "I had dinner in Los Angeles with Gwyneth Paltrow. I said that her body looked amazing and she introduced me to Tracy Anderson. I started when I was pregnant with Harper. It is very challenging."

The mum-of-four has previously said that she runs four miles every day and uses bee pollen for a youthful appearance. 

Well, it looks as if it is working as the forty year-old looks incredible!

Model Katie Price has slammed Kim Kardashian’s body saying it is not one she would desire for herself.

The mum, who is eight months pregnant with her fifth child, was speaking on her Fubar radio show when she made the comments, saying: “I wish I was like Kim Kardashian – she’s stunning. I don’t like her body, I’m not into that kind of body. She always seems to go to the gym so I don’t understand it.”

Somehow we’re not so sure Kim is going to care what Katie thinks of her curves…

Songstress and mum-of-one Pink, is on the cover of a US magazine this week in nothing but her birthday suit. She is trying to encourage a healthy body image among girls – particularly her three-year-old girl, Willow.

She says she is in the best shape of her life, even though she is ten pounds heavier than when she had her daughter:

“I’m so much more patient with myself.

“I’m a person who could always lose a couple (pounds) here and there, but I would rather be strong than bony.”

Pink wants her daughter Willow to grow up with a healthy attitude to her body and by the sounds of it, she’s doing a good job!

“She said to me the other day, ‘Mama, on Tuesday I think we should get naked and have a naked booby butt dance party.’ I was like, I’m in!’”

Michelle Keegan has been announced as the winner of the greatest celebrity body according to a poll carried out by Fit Britches shapewear.

The former Corrie star beat the likes of Rihanna, Kim Kardashian and Kelly Brook to be hailed as the proud owner of the hottest bikini bod.

Here is how the voting went for the greatest celebrity bikini body went:

  1. Michelle Keegan 39%
  2. Rihanna 15%
  3. Kelly Brook 13%
  4. Kim Kardashian 13%
  5. Lucy Mecklenburgh 11%

This voting was done by women, while over in the male corner, Michelle was once again the winner of first place while it was Kelly Brook and Kate Upton who came in second place with 19% each respectively.

There is no denying Millie Mackintosh’s fabulous figure – and now she has let us in on the secrets behind it!

It’s not all fun and games for this star though and Millie admits that she works hard for her body and eats healthy.

However, her aim isn’t to the lose weight, but to be toned and strong – we love that!

The former Made in Chelsea star told New! magazine: “Generally I work out five times a week. I won’t always work out with a personal trainer, I do classes too. I’ve been doing a mixture of Pilates, spinning and Barrecore … instead of losing weight, it’s about seeing abs.”

Millie went on to describe her healthy regime, admitting that she does have a cheat day (phew!): “It’s about discipline with what you eat because you can work out but if you eat sh** you’re never going to have a defined stomach … I love eggs for breakfast, so I’ll have an omelette or frittata. I love smoked salmon too, and avocado – so I have fats and protein … For lunch I have a chicken salad with vegetables and quinoa then salmon, broccoli and sweet potato for dinner … I still have cheat days at the weekend, I like to cook a roast.”

Millie is known for her love of a healthy lifestyle and is often pictured in the gym, but it’s nice to see she has her cheat days just like the rest of us!

Iggy Azalea has slammed rumours that she has a fake bum.

Tyler, The Creator appeared in an interview when he spoke about the rapper’s ample bum, saying: “She stinks. She … she got shots in her thump, I want real booty you feel me?”

Thankfully, Iggy is not the type of woman to sit back and be spoken to or about like that and slammed Tyler on her Twitter account, writing: “Tyler the creator is beyond immature. I’ve always believed you had something more to offer the world, Shame to see you be so rude … people that make enemies and talk s*** about ppl they’ve never even met trip me out. You know what they say; ‘Healthy body, Healthy mind’. If you binge on junk food then you can’t expect to feel too good. Eat lots of fruit and veggies, drink lots of water and get 30 minutes of exercise a day to feel in great condition.
