It certainly seems fashion fever is taking the world by storm this week.

Of course, right now New York is in the middle of hosting its coveted fashion week; but that doesn't mean Ireland is getting left behind, no siree.

In fact, designer department store Brown Thomas has now seriously upped its fashion game – heralding the arrival of MAJOR new labels in Limerick and Galway with an exclusive show.

Yes, international designers positively flooded Co Limerick's Adare Manor, with several firm favourites filling the catwalk.

Top models Roz Purcell, Sarah Morrissey and Ciara Buckley were on hand to show off the new collections – and much of the attire is really eye-catching.

In particular, Roz stunned wearing an electric blue Roland Mouret number; with Ciara Buckley showcasing a popular black Self Portrait jumpsuit.

Sarah Morrissey won us over wearing a Diane Von Frustenberg dress and Jimmy Choo leather thigh-high boots.

Taking place last Friday afternoon, more than 120 stylish guests – including fashion's influential Celia Holman Lee – were treated to champagne and canapes before all the action kicked off.

Among the new brands welcomed to Brown Thomas Limerick are Roland Mouret, Sportmaz, Victoria Beckham Denim (yes!), Cocoa Cashmere, Harris Wharf and Paige Denim. Jimmy Choo and Isabel Marant were also welcomed to the footwear department.

Meanwhile, new brands introduced to Brown Thomas Galway include Harris Wharf and Cocoa Cashmere, with Isabel Marant also arriving to their shoe collection.

Key trends from the international runway were also unveiled on the day, giving attendees the chance to jump the gun and embrace the latest looks before anyone else.

So for A/W '15 and S/S '16 you'll need to get your head around the likes of Retro Futuristic, Couture Construction and Gothic Girl (all three of which were among our favourite key trends showcased on the afternoon).

The fashion show opened with Peter Pilotto, followed by Roksanda and Mary Katrantzou and ended with the dramatic (swoon!) Victoria Beckham

Excited yet?! Yep, so are we…

Customers will receive a special wristband that will grant access to the meet-up, meaning you'll hopefully get a photo with Olivia, as well as having your product signed.

As guest creative director of the brand, Olivia has certainly put her elegant spin on things.

She recently expanded the collection from nail polish to include makeup that reflects the star's own unique style.

The new collection of cosmetics, housed in luxurious black and gold packaging, includes four Satin Kiss lipsticks, a smoky eye palette in nine of Olivia's favourite shades, two gel kohl eyeliners with blending tips and Cheekbone Cheat blush/bronzer compacts designed to contour and add warmth.

We like the sound of that!

Olivia said, "When developing the collection I wanted to create a variety of textures and shades in the same way I love to mix patterns, fabrics and accessories to style the perfect outfit.

"Many of the names were chosen to represent not only the hue but the unique textures specially developed for this collection. Others are electric touches from my own life and style – I can't wait for you to play and discover the products I had so much fun creating."

Believe us Olivia, we can't wait either.

How dreamy!

Today TV presenter and ISPCC Ambassador Laura Whitmore officially launched the annual ISPCC Brown Thomas Charity Fashion Show in the Intercontinental Hotel, Dublin.

SHEmazing! went behind-the-scenes with Laura this morning to find out her thoughts on bullies, fashion and Electric Picnic.

Following our interview, nearly 400 guests were treated to an exclusive showcase of the new A/W international collections that will land in Brown Thomas' coveted Designer Rooms very soon.

The looks showcased came from designers such as Victoria Beckham, Valentino, YSL, David Koma, Roland Mouret, Dolce & Gabbana, and more.

All we can say is have your wallets at the ready ladies!

Laura Whitmore has become something of a fashion icon over the past few years so it's no surprise that Brown Thomas and the ISPCC chose the MTV presenter to front their annual charity fashion show.

Before today's show kicked off at Dublin's Intercontinental Hotel, we went behind the scenes with Laura to ask her all about her views on bullying, fashion… and Electric Picnic.

The Bray native rocked the show wearing a Peter Pilotto black dress with multi-coloured and lace details, available in Brown Thomas now.

"It was so hard to pick just one dress! I love Brown Thomas because they have so many brands to choose from… but I went for this dress because I fell in love," she explained to SHEmazing!.

When asked what her top picks for the A/W season will be, she told us, "I can't wait to get back into wearing knits, they're so versatile – it doesn't have to be just a thick Aran jumper, you can dress them up or dress them down and they're so comfy."

The 30-year-old star has worked with the ISPCC on previous anti-bullying campaigns, and though she was lucky enough not to have faced bullying as a child, she says children have it a lot tougher these days. "It was a different kind of place back then, we didn't have social media, so when people got bullied, it was on the school grounds," she recalls.

As a hugely successful presenter and model, Laura is no stranger to the spotlight, and she says she can empathise with teens who feel all eyes are on them. "You don't know who you are, you are still finding yourself… so you have all these worries and still, people want to tear you down."

Ms Whitmore admits that she is very comfortable in her own skin as an adult and even though she might come across the odd Twitter troll, she ignores them.

"I'm working so much and constantly busy so if anyone tries to put me down on social media, I don't see it, I ignore it, I'm happy with who I am," she says.

Many girls look up to her as a style icon, but we wanted to know where Laura's influences came from growing up.  "I had many. Music was a big influence; Debbie Harry was a major icon for me, the Olsen twins, Grace Kelly for her sophisticated class… it's a big mix."

The I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here NOW! host also has a very exciting month ahead as she is getting set to launch her first ever jewellery line.

"I teamed up with Daisy jewellery because I have always loved their stuff," she says.

"I sketched all the pieces myself, so they're very personal and true to me… I'm so excited."

The MTV presenter is only home from London for the weekend before jetting off to Australia next week. So what are her plans while she's on home soil? Electric Picnic of course.

"I can't wait to see Blur," she says. "It's going to be a great weekend.

The 30-year-old is a strong advocate of the childrens' helpline service Childline, and urges any child in need to pick up the phone for support.

"If you are being bullied or you feel down, making just one call will change the world for you, it will give you reassurance and comfort," she says.

This morning we got a little preview of the autumn/winter collection in BT2 and we are seriously impressed.

SHEmazing! headed along to the photocall of the launch and we properly fell in love with the contemporary fashion on display.

There were so many pieces for special occasions and a host of funky casual wear there really are unique pieces to suit everyone.

Some of this season's designers include Needle And ThreadDVF, Self Portrait and Victoria Beckham.

Brown Thomas group fashion director Shelly Corkery said: "This season BT2 sets the tone and pace for new young fashion with fantastic brands arriving to each of our stores."

"We continue to launch the hottest fashion collaborations with this season introducing the second collection of AG's successful design partnership, Alexa Chung x AG."

The BT2 autumn/winter range has already received plenty of attention vai the Yeezy Boost 350s – the limited-edition Kanye West X Adidas shoe which completely sold out on Saturday when they went on sale.

And this Christmas will also see the addition of a permanent Jo Malone counter following the success of the pop in their Dundrum store last year. Shelly added: "In addition to this, we will host a pop-up of celebrity favourite Charlotte Tilbury pre-Christmas to further expand the beauty offering in Dundrum."

When speaking about the clothes for this season, BT2 womenswear buyer Claire Breslinalso said: "BT2 presents a range of unique fashion finds this autumn winter. Self-portraits latest offering is exquisite with a mix of dresses and jumpsuits in signature lace.

"Anyone with a special event coming up also be sure to check out this seasons dresses Needle And Thread continues to offer the wow-factor for the season ahead wit heavily embellished dresses."

And for those of you wanting something for more day-to-day wear, the store has "great check shirts from Rails and cashmere pieces from Lucy Nagle, which are ideal options to pair with any of our denims".

Claire added: "Key trends for BT2 this season include feminine styles of soft dresses and layered fabrics, lengths are definitely longer with mid-calf and floor length featuring throughout, and the 1970s is going nowhere."

"In terms of fabrics, we are seeing more modern edge with cut-out lace and ribbed knitwear."

FYI: the main colours which will feature this season are shades of ochre, mustards, yellows and burgundy.

With the sun shining outside and Halloween still weeks away, Christmas couldn't have been the furthest thing from our minds… until we stepped into the Christmas Market at Brown Thomas.

A dedicated Christmas area opened at Brown Thomas stores  in Dublin, Cork and Limerick last week, catering to anyone planning ahead for the upcoming festive season, and S! TV headed along for a first look.

This year's Christmas range is divided into four themes – Ice Palace, Venetian Winter, I Love Candy and of course, Santa's Journey. With a huge selection of seasonal decorations, gifts and food on offer, there's no shortage of temptation.

Roll on December 25th…

To people who have no interest in the latest Yeezy Boost 350 runners, queuing overnight for a pair of shoes probably sounds like absolute madness. But to Yeezy fans, it's just a normal day.

As the second edition of the highly covered runners go on sale tomorrow morning the 22nd of August at 9am, people are queuing up patiently outside BT2 on Grafton Street, Dublin.

With only 26 pairs of the shoes going on sale in store, people began queuing extremely early to make sure they had a good chance of getting their hands on a pair.

At lunch time today, there were 14 people already in the queue. We spoke to some of them who were waiting and they told SHEmazing! that chances were slim of getting a pair in the right size, or at all.

"There's fourteen of us in the queue now and most of us are looking for the same sizes. I want a size ten and so does he and a few of the other lads," one dedicated Yeezy fan said.

Kanye West's shoe design has gained a seriously huge amount of popularity the world over, with similar scenes occurring when the first edition runners went on sale earlier this year.

In London queues began as early as last Sunday for the shoes being released tomorrow. The "mocassin style" trainers are said to "transcend current trainer trends," and of course adding Kanye's name to the mix helps Adidas a bit too.

If however you can't give up 24 hours to queue for the footwear, don't worry, Mr. West insists everyone will get their hands on a pair eventually, they may just have to wait.

"I just wanna make sure we keep it safe. I've heard about people getting hurt over sneaker culture.. Just be patient, we'll make more Yeezys," he promised. "Eventually everyone who wants Yeezys will get them. I talked to the heads of Adidas."

Thanks Kanye!

Good news for anyone who wasn't lucky enough to get a pair of the Yeezy Boost 350s the first time round, the second model of the runners will be available in Brown Thomas from this Saturday.

This edition of the infamous trainers sees the design come in all black, rather than the grey that were originally released.

The first model of these runners saw people queuing for up to 48 before sale as there were so few pairs available in Ireland and the UK. But if you missed out last time, you now have another chance to get your hands on them.

Fashion director in Brown Thomas, Shelly Corkery said: "The first Yeezy Boost 350 sold out within hours when the launched in June with a queue of customers outside BT2 before it opened."

"We have a limited number of the trainers available and we're expecting the same sell-out response with the new, sleek black version."

The shoes retail at €200 and are available in BT2 from 9am on Saturday the 22nd of August.

Is it just us, or is Christmas actually getting earlier every year? Well, if Brown Thomas in Dublin, Cork and Limerick is anything to go by… the festive season is already here.

Yes, a full four months before the man with the bag arrives in Ireland, the famed department store has kicked off a spot of Yuletide joy.

For 2015 the Christmas Market is, according to Brown Thomas, "filled with Christmas trees and trim, seasonal decorations and festive food".

"We’ve actually been working on this year's Christmas Market since Christmas last year," BTs also said in a statement today.

And they reckon that they need to launch the market at this time of year to satisfy "customer demand".

"Plenty of shoppers are keen to get organised early," it maintains. "Generally we find that there’s a great response from customers to opening in August especially tourists who are eager to buy pieces they can’t get at home."

The themes for this year’s Christmas Market at Brown Thomas include Ice Palace, Venetian Winter, I Love Candy, and Santa’s Journey.

Ho, ho, ho? Or just bah, humbug?

We're four months away still – a full four months and a bit in fact (we just counted).

But that hasn't stopped one department store from getting into the spirit of things.

In fact, Brown Thomas in Dublin, Cork and Limerick are all unveiling their Christmas markets on Thursday – yes, that's August 20.

Each store apparently has a "dedicated space," which has now been transformed into "a festive Christmas market – filled with Christmas trees and trim, beautiful decorations, crackers and festive food".

And the themes for this year’s BT markets (just so you're in the know) include Ice Palace; Venetian Winter; I Love Candy and Santa’s Journey.

Hmmm, we reckon we'll still probably end up doing most of our shopping at the last minute (circa December 23).

Ho, ho, ho!

As Irish designer Jill de Burca explained, “CREATE is an amazing opportunity for Irish designers to sell their products in amongst really well-known international brands and have an incredible platform and encouragement from Brown Thomas.”

The annual fashion showcase from the students of Dublin's National College of Art and Design is one of the landmark events of the Irish style industry.

Earlier this week, S! TV's Niamh Geaney headed along to the show at the Grafton Suite in the Westbury Hotel to check out some of the incredible designs on show this year, and to talk to the very talented students behind each piece.

Famous NCAD alumni include Philip Treacy and Simone Rocha, so this year's students had some very big shoes to fill.

Fifteen designers took part in the event, each showing six pieces from their own collection. Brown Thomas Fashion Director Shelley Corkery was also on hand on the night to choose one lucky student as the 2015 Designer to Watch. This years winner, Daniel Roden, took home a €4,000 bursary, as well as the chance to showcase his designs on the Brown Thomas fashion floor later this year.

Check out some of the beautiful pieces on show in the video above…
