An online petition is quickly gaining traction which calls for actor Liam Neeson to be scrapped from the new Men in Black: International movie.

The Taken and Cold Pursuit star is facing massive backlash after an interview with The Independent saw him admit to roaming the streets hunting for a "black b*stard" to kill after a close friend was raped.

The interview was published on Monday, and already the repercussions have been stark. The actor cancelled an appearance on Stephen Colbert's US talk show, and the premiere of his new film was cancelled.

Now fans of Men in Black are calling for him to be re-cast, and it's gotten ugly.

Neeson went on Good Morning America to insist that he's not racist in a follow-up interview, but many people were of the opinion that he made the matter even worse, and want him gone from the upcoming reboot.

The remake stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, and is based on the iconic Will Smith sci-fi alien film..

One Twitter user wrote that they "hope it’s not too late to digitally erase" the Northern Irish actor from the movie, with a source reporting to The Sun that: “Mounting pressure on Neeson to be axed won’t go unnoticed.”

Many of us probably are totally unaware that he's even cast in the film…

Speaking about his interview with The Independent, Neeson tried to explain his actions:

“We were doing a press junket and the topic of our film was revenge. The lady journalist (Clémence Michallon) was asking, "How do you tap into that?" and I remembered an incident nearly 40 years ago when a friend of mine was brutally raped I was out of the country and when I came back she told me about this."

“I had never felt this feeling before which was a primal urge to lash out.”

Whoopi Goldberg jumped to Neeson's defence on The View, saying she believes he's "not a bigot", and former England football player John Barnes also praised him for admitting his guilt, saying that if we don't acknowledge racism, how can we tackle it?

Men in Black: International will be released in UK cinemas on June 14.

Chrissy Teigen is the latest celebrity to have been essentially CANCELLED online, after offensive tweets from back in 2010 and 2011 surfaced which say some pretty dodgy stuff about self-harm, Lindsey Lohan and trans people.

The tweets have been met with outrage on the internet, with Twitter users getting the hashtag #ChrissyTeigenIsOverParty trending almost instantaneously.

The comments are from roughly eight years ago, but they reference the appearances of celebrities such as Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga and in particular Lindsay Lohan.

They are especially distasteful regarding the trans community, one of her tweets references Tyra Banks' talent search show America's Next Top Model;

"God. Can we just come out and call the freakin show ‘americas next top tranny’ because this shit has been transtastic for the past 5 years."

Another tweet references self-harm:

The word 'tranny' is used often on her account back in 2010 and 2011. The social media personality is half-Thai, and speaks about the perception of her country in terms of the trans community:

There are some more upsetting ones regarding slut-shaming sexually promiscuous women:

The mother-of-two has yet to comment on the matter, but we're sure she must regret not deleting her old, harmful tweets.

The model has become a major social media personality for her sassy remarks about Donald Trump, and has the crown of the 'Clapback Queen' and 'Queen of Twitter'.

We highly doubt she'll manage to keep her crown after this.

What do you think, should she be cancelled? Or will you give her another chance?

You may have heard a thing or two about Jason Momoa, the Aquaman star who got his big break after playing the terrifying Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones.

He's infamous for the role, in which he portrays the chieftain of the Dothraki tribe and the husband of the Mother of Dragons, played by Emilia Clarke.

However, the language barrier meant that Momoa had very few lines, and most of his actions were pretty violent, so he wasn't exactly likeable.

I mean, the guy is SCARY.

Momoa visited the Graham Norton show this week to promote his character in the DC universe, Aquaman, and his struggle following his turn in Game of Thrones.

His character was killed off in 2011, and the actor admits that his career took a slight dive after his role ended; "I didn't get much work after that," Momoa says.

Describing the reaction of those who meet him in person, he said;

"I mean, what do you do with that – his character doesn't speak English, he's not funny and he just hurts people. I played that character well so it was a bit challenging afterwards. People would literally say, 'Wow, you speak English!'"

Momoa reprised his starring role in Game of Thrones for a GAS Saturday Night Live sketch, though his time on the fantasy show is over.

The actor told Digital Spy a while back that he's not featured in any scenes for the final season of the HBO phenomenon, saying: "Yeah… he's not coming back. Nine years now, let him go."

Watch the full interview with Jason Momoa on The Graham Norton show tomorrow, Aquaman is out now in the UK.

The reigning queen of daytime talk TV, Ellen DeGeneres, has spoken about the future of her hugely popular show while out promoting her upcoming Netflix stand-up special, Relatable.

In an interview with The New York Times, the comedy star speaks about her desire to return to acting one day, and maybe even play an 'unappealing' role for once. SOB.

The infamous host evidently wants to explore more of her own personality, as opposed to continuing with her sixteen-year long programme, The Ellen Show.

One of the reasons why Ellen may need a bit of a breather from her show is most likely because of her ultra-nice reputation, which might refrain her from showing other parts of her emotional range;

“The talk show is me, but I’m also playing a character of a talk-show host. There’s a tiny, tiny bit of difference," she says.

She comments on how she can't do anything even slightly rude, no matter the circumstances, as everyone expects her to show her sunny side constantly, or else to break into dance…

She can't even beep a pedestrian who walks out in front of her car, even if it's just the Biebs prancing around in the snow:

Her show rarely has anything negative or serious, unless she's mentioning tragedies or natural disasters taking place in America or around the world for humanitarian efforts.

In fact, she almost didn't extend her contract until 2020- imagine, a world without her show? We just can't.

She discusses the different stances which her brother and wife Portia De Rossi take on the future of her talk show.

Vance believes that his sister needs to remain the beacon of light and hope until at least the current US President resigns (they need her, so badly), whereas Portia thinks her wife should explore other creative outlets;

“I just think she’s such a brilliant actress and standup that it doesn’t have to be this talk show for her creativity. There are other things she could tackle.”

There must be a ridiculous amount of pressure on Ellen's shoulders, the world would potentially shut down if she even uttered a curse word.

We hope she doesn't leave our screens too soon, but Ellen would undoubtedly go on to even greater projects- she's clearly got talent in any role she takes on.

Her anticipated stand-up show Relatable which streams on Netflix on December 18.

Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother have officially been axed by Channel 5.

The iconic reality TV shows changed the TV landscape when the first season aired in the year 2000 on Channel 4.

Channel 5 picked up the show in 2011, where it has remained until the final season – they tweeted their 153,000 followers: 'It's time for this game to end. The final series of Big Brother starts tonight at 9pm.'

Rylan Clark Neal also shared with his 1.5million followers: 'After six years working on one of the most iconic shows on television I’m saddened to hear the news Big Brother isn’t returning.'

'It has been the biggest privilege being a housemate, a winner and a host on my favourite show on the television.'

'I hope one day Big Brother will return but my focus now, as with the rest of the team, is to make our last series the best yet.'

The show has faced major criticism in its 18-year run, but has always been popular among it's viewers.

However, with rival show's like Love Island to compete with, Big Brother has seen a steady decline in ratings over the past few years.

Last summer's launch drew an average of 2.2 million viewers – 200,000 less than the previous year.

Both the civilian and celebrity versions have had huge success, relaunching the careers of faded stars and catapulting nobodies into the limelight.

 Any bets the series starting tonight will be as outrageous as ever.
