With models protruding from our world left, right and centre, it seems nowadays any pretty girl is in with a chance of running the catwalk.

Timing, personality and, of course, looks all go into consideration when creating a supermodel.

But a new study has found that the rise of a supermodel is not as random as it seems.

Researchers from the Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing looked into "the social and professional determinants of success in the fashion industry".

The scientists wanted to figure out – before anything was announced – who the coming season's catwalk star would be.

They named the study The Kendall Jenner Effect (of course), and it actually is a bit tricky to get your head around.

Are you ready for the equation?

So, between the months of September and December 2014, the school's research professor, Emilio Ferrara, and his team counted how many Instagram posts various top models did, and assessed how many likes and comments each post got on average.

Next, using the Fashion Model Directory, they assembled portfolio data – including how many times the model had appeared on the catwalk so far, as well as other statistics like their height and shoe size.

This information was then fed into multiple algorithms, which lead the team to predict how popular the model would be in the upcoming fashion month.

Although, as this might sound all well and good, the New York Magazine noted that walking a maximum number of shows is not necessarily a measure of how popular the model is.

In fact, once a model gets to the point of when she only has to walk in a few select shows, for a few select brands, like Cara or Gisele for instance – that is the true measure of supermodel success.

We'll just have to wait and see who is the next Supermodel Queen.

While you might assume that your nose, eyes or mouth is the most important feature on your face, scientists beg to differ.

In a recent study by the University Of Lethbridge in Canada, researchers found that your EYEBROWS hold the highest face value.

Beyond their function as a filter against dust, dirt and sweat that might enter your eyes, brows have a strong social significance for "emotional expression as well as facial recognition".

Given the general fascination about lush brows over the past few years, we can't really say we're surprised.

If we weren't born with Cara-esque brows, we're compensating with brow fillers, tints, growth-stimulating serums and even hair transplant procedures.

But now we know we're not going crazy as the obsession with our arches is finally validated with factual evidence.

Thank you, science!

The researchers of the study showed 25 images of celebrities without brows, followed by 25 images of celebs without eyes.

The participants were able to correctly identify over half (56 percent) of the stars shown without eyes, yet only 46 percent of the celebrities shown without brows.

So the conclusion? Eyebrows are more important than eyes if you want to make a good impression.

Hurrah!

Cara Delevingne has spoken out about her future in modelling, and it doesn't sound promising.

The model/actress said that the modelling industry has now resulted in her hating her body after first beginning when she was just ten years old.

Although she seems to be at the top of her model game, Cara has spoken out and said she is "not doing fashion work any more".

She opened up about her struggles as a catwalk model for some of the biggest brands in the world saying it made her 'hate' her body.

In an interview with The Times, Cara said ""It didn't make me grow at all as a human being. And I kind of forgot how young I was. I felt so old."

She continued saying "I was, like, fight and flight for months. Just constantly on edge. It is a mental thing as well because if you hate yourself and your body and the way you look, it just gets worse and worse."

Cara also explained how the stress of the catwalk model life also led her to developing psoriasis which is a skin disease that can be quite uncomfortable for sufferers.

She said: "People would put on gloves and not want to touch me because they thought it was, like, leprosy or something."

It seems the 23-year-old is now going to focus all of her energy on her new acting career. She holds one of the lead roles in Paper Towns and she is also starring in next year's hugely anticipated movie Suicide Squad.

With brows-on-fleek celebrities including Cara Delevingne and Megan Fox sporting perfect arches… it's no surprise that big, beautiful eyebrows are going nowhere any time soon.

Certainly, it's THE trend of 2015 – despite knocking around for a few years now.

However, when it comes to achieving the perfect look, it's also a minefield out there.

First came pencils, then mascara, then gels – then the massively popular HD Brow method. Even eyebrow tattoos are now an increasingly popular thing.

And after all that – it seems are eyebrows are moving on, yet again, to pastures news.

Yes, the latest product to enter the market promises to trump its predecessors. In fact, it maintains that you can achieve salon-perfect brows in your own home and for half of the price. Hurrah!

Marketed as WUNDERBROW, it's priced at €30… and suffice to say we're pretty excited. The manufactures claim its transfer-proof, water-proof, last for days and looks natural.

Intrigued, we decided to look into the product on behalf of SHEmazing! to see can it really lives up to its promises: can it, for example, really last for days with just one application, and how natural does it really look?

It claims to contain an exclusive blend of hair-like fibres combined with specifically-treated pigments, which is designed to fasten on to hair and skin.

And we can confirm that the results are definitely natural-looking brows that really last!

The product is dermatological approved too, which is obviously a big win from us. It's not just us, either: the reviews it's getting are pretty great, especially from people who have suffer hair loss due to illness.

If you're looking for a new brow product without breaking the bank, then this is definitely something to try out – you can check out the website here.

Super model Cara Delevingne was joined by her suicide squad pal Margot Robbie as she stunned with her new hair style at a concert in Canada.

Cara is well known for setting the bushy eyebrow trend, but it seems she may be trying to set another trend now.

She tried to shy away from the crowds at her girlfriend's concert as she wore over-sized sunglasses and had unrecognisable hair.

It's unsure as to whether this hairstyle is permanent or if it's just a wig to throw off the paparazzi. The 22-year-old wore a funky cropped t-shirt with pineapples on the front with printed shorts and a denim shirt around her waste.

Cara was thought to have split from her girlfriend of eight months a few weeks ago but she was there to support her yesterday in Montreal.

Cara Delevigne has never been one to hold back when she has something to say.

So when Time magazine caught up with the actress while she was on the set of Paper Towns, she had a lot to say.

She spoke about how difficult to get serious roles in film as people in the industry don’t recognise her as a serious actress. She also talked about how different she finds acting from modelling.

Most importantly, she commented on the hate that she receives from time to time.

The 22-year old will star in the highly anticipated DC film Suicide Squad, to be released next year. There were many fans of the franchise however who didn’t think she deserved the role.

"If anyone just thought I was trying to pad my resume, they can suck my"—she stopped to consider her word choice—"boobs."

Nice, Cara.

While she is probably one of the fashion industry’s more quirky characters (or have you not seen her onesie collection?), she says she takes her acting very seriously:

"I take what roles I do very seriously. I always want to portray a strong female.”

Not surprising seeing as the star has always stood up for herself and what she believes in as of late.

She has not only spoken out about her acting career, but a recent Vogue cover article has also sparked some controversy for the former Burberry model.

Speaking to the New York Times, Cara said that, in case anyone misunderstood, “my sexuality is not a phase. I am who I am.”

The Vogue article had led to an online petition that protested the suggestion of Cara’s sexuality being a phase.

The Paper Towns actress has been quick to stop people from speculating about her personal life and while she found the online protest “flattering”, she didn’t think there was anything “malicious” in the article itself.

According to Cara Delevinge, she can find fun anywhere, and for a long time she found that fun being an intense party girl who just couldn’t stop eating McDonalds.

Making her Vogue US cover debut in the magazine's July issue, the 22-year old opens up about how her excessive lifestyle started to pose a problem for her career.

She told the magazine: “After turning 20 and eating McDonald’s all the time and drinking too much, it started to show on my stomach and on my face.” Her management were not impressed with the young model and she’s been living a much more demure life.

She says that these days “I’m not allowed to drink. I’m not allowed good food.” Cara herself think it’s a bit harsh, saying that the fashion industry is a bit of mystery to her.

She comments that “I’ve succeeded in a business where for years I had no restraint,” and it took its toll on her body. The fashion model committed some industry sins when she let her indulgences lead to a less than svelte physique.

She did have incredible success as a fashion model both on the runway and in campaigns for Mulberry and Topshop. She also has nearly two times the amount of Instagram followers than social media powerhouse Lady Gaga.

Modelling however, isn’t enough for the star.  Appearing in her first leading role in the film adaptation of John Green’s Paper Towns (released 17 August), Cara reveals she has always wanted to act, not model.

Acting has been the ultimate goal for her, saying: “The thrill of acting is making a character real. Modelling is the opposite of real. It’s being fake in front of the camera.”

Cara discovered the thrill of acting when she was a young teen as a way to channel some of her emotional distress. Now though, it’s become her career and she couldn’t be happier with the direction her work has taken.

She also credits her girlfriend, St. Vincent (real name Annie Clark) as being part of the reason why she’s so happy in herself at the moment.

It could also be something to do with the seven roles she’s landed in upcoming films including an adaption of the Amanda Knox story.

Not satisfied at being a successful model and actress, Cara Delevingne can now add ‘fashion designer’ to her list of professional attributes.

The star has designed a capsule collection for DKNY and she shared the news last night on her Instagram account, saying: “Get Ready!!! It’s Coming… #Cara4DKNY”

DKNY have confirmed the news saying the collection is mostly comprised of unisex clothes and includes beanies, T-shirts and a leather motorcycle jacket with removable sleeves.

This is good news for prospective models as Cara will be casting two or three fans to join her in the campaign for her new collection.

Cara asked her Instagram followers to “post a pic of yourself looking fresh to your Instagram and tag #CaraD4DKNY and #CaraWantsYou between now and 16 June” to be in with the chance to join her in New York for the shoot.

Sounds like a dream opportunity!

Usually there are rumours and speculation before celebs finally announce their pregnancies, but fans of this model got a huge shock when they spotted this photo on her Instagram account last night.

The flawless Cara Delevingne, who has been romantically linked to actress Michelle Rodriguez, uploaded a picture of herself sporting dungarees and a noticeable baby bump.

Oh and her pet rabbit, Cecil.

However, things aren’t always as they seem and it turns out she was just modelling for her cousin’s vintage-inspired maternity brand, In Pig.

The picture included the caption: “Everyone check out @in_pig for all your maternity needs @cecildelevingne.”

We have to admit we’re a little disappointed – Cara definitely suits a baby bump and her little one would be unbelievably stylish!
