Ever wonder what it would be like to work for the Queen?  Well now you might actually have the chance to find out.

According to The Sun, the Queen is looking for a new Kitchen Porter to join her staff at Buckingham Palace.

As well as earning £16,755 a year (that’s almost €20,000), the successful applicant will have a pension scheme, 33 days’ holidays, have all their meals provided and will get to live in the staff quarters of one of the world's most iconic landmarks.

And – according to the Royal household’s website – the new KP will also experience “the feeling of satisfaction from helping to deliver a spotless service”.

No experience is necessary for the job as training will be provided to ensure you can polish cutlery that really is fit for a queen.

We know Dolly Parton has Dollywood, a theme park dedicated to everything Dolly. And Taylor Swift, of course, has The Taylor Swift Education Centre, where you can learn literally everything there is to know about Tay Tay.

But now, Mariah Carey wants to go one further and build a museum in tribute to her 25-year career. And that's not it. She wants to make it portable as well.

An insider told Heat that Mariah thinks the world deserves a shrine of her work and many achievements.

They were also told that it will display, "her concert outfits, platinum record collection, a recreation of her childhood home, award-show footage and vintage recordings playing on loop, baby photos, treasures from her home, displays of her jewellery collection and home movies of her children." Wow.

The insider adds, "She has warehouses full of Mariah memorabilia, and I think she'd really throw herself into the project."

And who will be funding this portable museum, you ask? That would be Mariah's billionaire boyf, James Packer.

"He can't say no to his girlfriend, even though he thinks this idea is way out there, even for Mariah.

"She thinks the whole thing would cost around $20m (€18m) to build a travelling museum, with the first stop being Las Vegas and her home town, New York."

The average person spends 8.8 hours in work every day – that’s a little over 9,000 hours a year which essentially makes up one third of your life. It’s crazy when you think about it, right?

It stands to reason that you will want to work at something that you love, but unfortunately in life there are little twists and turns that can lead you astray and send you down a path that you didn’t necessarily want to be on.

But whether you’re on the path you’re happy with or would rather be going in a different direction, these tips can help you to feel fulfilled at work… and maybe even lead you to that dream job.

Find a mentor
Find someone in your line of work (or the one you want to be in) that you admire and ask them to mentor you. Most people will have no problem giving you advice that they have learned over the years and helping you along the way. They will also be great if you have any ideas as they can advise you what road to take to achieve those goals.

Ask for an evaluation
This can be scary but also extremely helpful with getting you to better yourself and your work ethic. As some criticism might sting a bit, it will be an excellent insight into what you’re doing wrong and how you can improve it.

Stop procrastination
Every single one of us do it, whether we procrastinate by cooking, cleaning, watching TV or reading a book, you need to stop. Identify what way you put work off and make a strategy to discourage yourself from doing so. You will thank yourself in the long run.

Take initiative
Don’t sit back in the corner and let other people do all the work. Take your own initiative and do the work for yourself. If you spot a problem, fix it. If you spot an opportunity, take it. You won’t get anywhere if you sit back and don’t look for ways to improve.

Information is power
Study your industry the best that you can. Work environments are constantly changing, so make it part of your job to keep up with it all.  However, you don’t have to quit your job just to get back to studying or be unfocused at work.  Studying online is a great way to broaden your knowledge and skills without spending too much time attending in a traditional university.

Network, network, network
One of the best ways to move on up in your career is to meet new people and network. The more people you meet, the more contacts you will have and in turn you will gain more opportunities. Always treat people with respect, as you never know where they could be in a year’s time.

Confidence
There’s no point carrying out all of these tactics if you’re not confident in what you do. Rely on yourself. If you are going to crumble after one hit, you need to readjust your goals. You will be knocked down on your way to your chosen career, but get back up and fight ten times harder. And never give up.

You got this.

We’ve all heard the stories of old-school friends who just don’t seem to get you anymore. It’s not that uncommon. Actually, it’s about as common as the daily panic many young women have trying to decide what is acceptable and what is not in their new workplace.

Growing up and becoming a fully-fledged adult is difficult. To try and ease the way for you just a touch, we put together a list of things that all twentysomething women really do not need to be worrying about.

Trying to live by a ‘5-year plan’

You really don’t need to have started a family, self-started a company and become president by the time you’re 27. Relax, no other time will you be able marathon New Girl all weekend guilt free.

Anything that has to do with sending texts

Was I too mean? Is that even funny? WHY HAS HE NOT TEXTED BACK? Wait, did I even text him back that time? Just stop. You have better more fun things to be doing.

Not having a party to go to every single Friday/Saturday

There ain’t no party like a pyjama party with take-away and a hair mask. Come on, you know that appeals to you more than you admit.

Trying to immediately have a 'young professional who is still on fleek' wardrobe

Unless you somehow managed to avoid a little thing called ‘rent’ and ‘entry-level’ salary, and no one does let’s be honest here, then you can calm down. Trust us, it takes a while to build up a stylish working wardrobe and no one is critiquing you.

Being alone forever

Would you rather waste the glory of your youth crying about a less than stellar significant other or would you rather be having the time of your life with new more fun guys and your squad?

Spending way too much money on travelling

The trip to Oz may cost a fortune but it will probably be one of the most memorable experiences of your life, go for it before your career takes over and you lose all of that ‘me time’.

Being 'skinny'

Are you happy? Excellent, that is the most important thing. Eat the pizza and stop caring what other people think.

Is somebody trying to destroy Naya Rivera’s image?

According to her rep, that may just be the case.

The comments came following numerous reports that Naya had not only been fired from Glee, but had also been dropped by Columbia Records.

Naya’s rep spoke to E! and cleared up any misconceptions that appear to be doing the rounds lately with regards to her career:

“Any reports or rumours circulating that Naya Rivra was let go or fired from Glee are absolutely untrue. End of story … The newest story claiming that Naya Rivera was dropped from her recording contract with Columbia Records is absolutely false … Someone obviously has an agenda to damage Naya’s good name and the media are failing at their duty to responsibly vet their sources and verify what is true and what is not. Naya’s attorneys are prepared to take any and all legal action to enforce and protect her rights.”

Poor Naya!
