Caroline Flack

We all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day especially if you want to shed some lbs, but a steak for breakfast?

We're feeling bloated just imagining the food coma on the morning commute after that one, but according to Caroline Flack this approach has helped her shed some serious weight.

The former X Factor presenter insists that her trimmer frame is down to consuming more calories and says a large breakfast is the only way to go.

"I’m always starving in the morning so I eat a lot for breakfast it’s usually scrambled or poached eggs, bacon, avocado, mushrooms or sometimes even steak," she tells Your Fitness magazine.

The 36-year-old admits that she hasn't always been comfortable with her shape and simply wanted to do something about it, explaining: "Whenever I’ve worn bikinis in the past I’ve always thrown a vest over the top, especially if there’s a lot of people around the pool."

Explaining that excluding sugar from her diet yielded the most obvious results, Caroline continued: "I’m consuming more calories now than ever before, they’re just the right calories. What made the biggest difference to how I looked and felt was cutting out all sugar."

Like many of us gals, the free wight area of the gym was Caroline's Everest, but she says biting the bullet and getting stuck in has worked wonders for her.

"I work out three times a week and used to feel really intimidated entering the free weights area but now I feel comfortable," she said. “I’ve been lifting heavy weights for 14 weeks and I haven’t become any bigger.”

The Sunday Morning Breakfast co-presenter sees the approach as a lifestyle overhaul, insisting: "The truth is I did this for me to make myself feel the very best I could and this is the way I decided to do it."

How fab does she look?!

They used to be BFFs but now it is reported that Caroline Flack and Olly Murs are no longer talking after an alleged row.

According to The Sun, Caroline was not happy when she found out Olly knew they wouldn't be returning for another year hosting the show and decided not to tell her.

A source told the paper: "She’s seething to have lost it under these circumstances, and they are no longer speaking.

"In her eyes, the reason he got the gig in the first place was because she’d basically carried him during their stint on spin-off show The Xtra Factor.

"Of course, Olly has his hugely successful pop career and didn’t really need The X Factor, but that was Caroline’s dream job."

The source added: ‘Hopefully it will blow over but right now Caroline feels very bitter about the whole thing."

Caroline Flack is looking super hot at the moment, and it's all down to only banning one thing from her diet; sugar.

The presenter has been on a major health kick in recent weeks and admitted on Instagram she's feeling "the best I've felt" in a while.

The 36-year-old explained on a selfie post that she's on a sugar detox and still has a few weeks until it's all over.

"HOT YOGA VIBES," she captioned the snap. "Week 4 no sugar detox. Feel the best I've felt since well… Birth… 7 weeks to go."

Caroline often shares her health and fitness goals on social media and is never shy about hitting out at haters.

We can't wait to see the outcome after seven weeks.

Despite a last ditch effort to save The X Factor with a panel of new judges, a new hosting team and changes to the Boot Camp process, it seems Simon Cowell's long-running show is in trouble.

As well as watching the ratings plummet during the last series of the show, the music mogul is seeing his new recruits dropping like flies.

Just last week, Nick Grimshaw confirmed he would not be returning to the judging panel, and now – as was strongly rumoured on Friday – both Olly Murs and Caroline Flack have announced they too will not be back.

Both of them released statements via their reps, with Olly saying he wanted to turn his focus back to the music industry.

"This was an incredibly hard decision to make," he said.

"But my heart belongs to music and I want to concentrate 100% on making my next album and getting back to performing."

Caroline, meanwhile, thanked the ITV team for the "brilliant time" she had working on both The X Factor and The Xtra Factor.

While she may have insisted in today's statement that her time on the show was "just fantastic," she made no secret of how hard she found it to cope with negative criticism from the public during the most recent series of the show.

"I cried after the first live Sunday night," she admitted in a recent interview.

"The reaction was quite overwhelming because I didn’t think people would be talking about how I look, how I stand, how I walk, or how I laugh."

No word yet on whether Rita Ora will return, but we have our doubts already…

Caroline Flack's been celebrating the end of The X Factor with a girly holiday in Miami – but she was brought back down to earth with a bang yesterday after some "nasty" pictures made it into the press.

The TV presenter was photographed with a long-lens camera as she changed out of her bikini on the beach, with images showing her exposed breasts published online yesterday.

Understandably, Caroline was left upset by what she termed a "perverted" invasion of her privacy.

"There is something very perverted about men hiding in bushes trying to take pictures of me while I'm changing," she tweeted last night.

"Even more perverted that people are allowed to print the nasty pictures. How is this legal?"

The ITV host later clarified that the beach she was sunbathing on was "private property."

Just last week, Caroline admitted that life in the public eye had taken its toll on her over the last twelve months – especially during X Factor's live shows, as she dealt with negative comments from viewers.

"I cried after the first live Sunday night," she told the Daily Mirror.

"The reaction was quite overwhelming because I didn’t think people would be talking about how I look, how I stand, how I walk, or how I laugh."

Caroline Flack admitted this week that her 2015 "started off the saddest and ended up the happiest."

It's certainly been twelve months of heightened emotions for the presenter, who broke up with music mogul Jack Street this time last year, and later scored her first major primetime hosting gig on The X Factor.

Speaking candidly to The Daily Mirror this week, Caroline admitted that she'd had a pretty rough year behind-the-scenes, but tried her best not to let it affect her public persona.

"I can have the worst day ever but I’ll post the happiest picture of myself. My life is like a sad film.

"You can think social media is real life but you have to remember it’s not."

Olly Murs' co-host said her self-confidence took a big knock this year, as viewers of The X Factor took to Twitter and Instagram to mouth off about her appearance.

"I cried after the first live Sunday night.

"The reaction was quite overwhelming because I didn’t think people would be talking about how I look, how I stand, how I walk, or how I laugh."

Despite the ongoing negativity, Caroline says she's not going to give up on her chosen career path

"I’ve been in this industry for 12 years, and you get used to the criticism. I know how the game works.

"I put myself out there and can’t moan. I have a really good job, and a really good life. The good bits outweigh the bad by a mile.

"I don’t ever want to feel ungrateful. If I couldn’t handle any more, I would go home and get out of the media industry."

Even though Olly is not sure whether he will come back to host the X Factor in 2016, it seems that Simon Cowell doesn't really want him back.

Rumour has it that Simon actually has his eye on another presenting duo and we think they would be great!

So who is the lucky pair? Only Big Brother's Emma Willis and Rylan Clark-Neal.

Emma currently hosts the main Channel 5 show while Rylan took the reigns of the Bit on the Side spin off show this year.

While both hosts did a stellar job, they never got to enjoy much on screen time together and we think they would be a winning fit for the ITV talent show.

The role would be a fitting career move for Rylan who made his big break on the X Factor in 2012.

WHO could forget the crying.

Following a number of pretty embarrassing blunders, it seems that Olly and Caroline will more than likely not be taking the helm of Simon's show next year but nothing has been confirmed.

We love this hosting idea but could Simon cough up enough to steal Rylan and Emma from the Big Brother series? And how will Emma be able to cope considering she has just announced she is pregnant with her third child?

The jury is still out on this one.

Either they're the biggest trollers the world of celeb romance has ever seen, or they are genuinely planning to get with each other at the X Factor Christmas bash.

Whatever the story is, there's definitely something going on between Olly Murs and Caroline Flack.

The pair, who co-host the TV talent show together, were pictured last night looking like they were milliseconds away from having a proper snog.

Yes, Caroline did post this photo on her own Instagram and no, it's not a hoax. It seems the pair decided to have some fun in the photobooth at last night's Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards 2015.

Both Caroline and Olly have spoken out about the rumoured romance before, and while they've *kinda* made efforts to deny it, they've also 100% helped to fuel the speculation too.

"We have this innate understanding of one another – we don't fancy each other and yet we don't not fancy each other," said Caroline after the pair appeared to kiss on an episode of The X Factor last month.

"We're not girlfriend and boyfriend, yet we're not totally platonic either."

As for Olly, at last night's awards he insisted he and Ms. Flack were just pals – and he admitted they enjoyed playing mind games with us all.

"It's just stirring the pot really, we know we're best mates – that's all it's going to be," he said.

Say what you will Olly, but those photos say otherwise.

Think you can body-shame Caroline Flack and get away with it? Not a hope.

The X Factor presenter took to Twitter last night to show she can give as good as she gets when it comes to harsh Twitter comments.

After she appeared on Sunday night's X Factor in a fitted strapless black dress, Caroline spotted several negative comments online about her supposed "weight gain," and took to social media to set things right.

"It's very easy to take a shot at someone online," she wrote in response to the cruel posts about her appearance.

"The vile comments about my weight and just all round look tonight are quite shocking.

"Have never said I'm the prettiest or thinnest or even anything special… But thank god I'm not horrible… Cool attitudes."

Comments posted after last night's show suggested Caroline had "ballooned" in weight, with some people even saying she looked "pregnant."

This isn't the first time the presenter has dealt with backlash in the press and online.

In her new autobiography, Storm In A C Cup, she recalls the frustration she felt after her brief relationship with Harry Styles – 15 years her junior – went public.

"It began to go wrong when he was pictured coming out of my house one morning.

"And that was that. In the street people started shouting 'paedophile' at me in the street and 'pervert.'"

Let's hope this is the last night Caroline has to deal with such unwarranted negativity.

It's official. Beachy blondes are out and cool platinum tones are in.

Instead of trying to emulate sunkissed golden hues when the Irish summer lasted all of five seconds, why not embrace winter and go for an all-over icy blonde?

Jennifer Lawrence stunned on the red carpet this month as she unveiled her new blonde 'do, but she is just one of a long list of stars embracing the high-maintenance colour change this year.

Here are the girls who did it right. Could you join the pack?

Jennifer Lawrence

Bye-bye brunette Katniss. Jen said goodbye to her work on The Hunger Games by totally changing up her look, opting for a new platinum shade instead of her usual sandy blonde.

Halfway through this year's X Factor, Caroline surprised us with a peroxide blonde 'do. Posting pictures of herself in the hair salon, she described the look as "fully fledged non rooted blonde."

Considering a copycat look? Head to the salon. As the style requires an all over intense bleach rather than just highlights, going to a professional will ensure your hair stays in tip top condition.

Rita Ora

Rita's trademark has always been her platinum blonde hair and a red lip, but even so she has often embraced her natural dark roots as part of her look.

This year, however, she ditched the dark tones and chose an all-over intense blonde.

Naomi Watts

Naomi debuted this very high fashion look at the Armani Privé show in Paris this summer, giving up her natural highlights for a striking peroxide finish.

Michelle Williams

Michelle always favoured blonde tresses, but when she stepped out with this intense almost white blonde shade back in May, we absolutely fell in love.

Kim Kardashian

How could we forget the shocking, albeit short lived, hair transformation of Kim K earlier this year? Arguably the look that started it all, we definitely lost our minds over this drastic change.

We know that Olly Murs is not a television presenter by trade, but we can't help but squirm after watching last night's X Factor fiasco.

First of all, the singer and Simon Cowell favourite (he was the hit show's runners-up in 2009) kinda forgot about arguably the most popular member of the biggest boyband on the planet.

Yes, One Direction came back to the place where it all began and performed their new single, Perfect, on the X Factor stage.

Following a flawless performance, Olly chatted to the band members about their tour and being back in front of the judging panel. Olly goes down the line chatting to Niall first before questioning Liam and Louis.

He then just ignores Harry. Yikes!

We don't know if it was intentional but it sure as hell was awkward to watch… and understandably the One Directioners present on the evening were less than impressed in the aftermath.

Indeed, with the audience booing and desperately urging Mr Murs to turn his attention to Mr Styles, the former had no choice but to awkwardly throw in a "hope it's not too bad down there" in the latter's direction.

However, the slip-up could be considered small in comparison to the major blunder he had later on in the show.

Following the sing-off between Simon's Anton Stephans and Rita's gal, Monica Michael, the judges took the vote to deadlock – meaning that the contestant with the lowest public vote would leave the competition.

Before the envelope supposedly containing the name of the contestant going out of the competition arrived on stage, Olly told Monica she was leaving.

Ouch.

Caroline quickly reacted by pointing out that her co-host was mistaken. Apologising, Olly and Caroline go on to reveal that it is in fact (quelle surprise) Monica who is leaving.

You can watch the absolutely cringe inducing moment below.

Olly afterwards took to Twitter to apologise but fans were already crying out that the mishap proves the popular Saturday night show is fixed.

Lucky for man himself, there was one TV presenter quick to defend him.

It may happen to the best TV presenters, but we sure as hell don't remember Dermot ever making a mistake. We miss you, Dermo!

Caroline Flack's romance with singer Harry Styles may have only lasted a few months, but the negative press surrounding it all still stings.

The 35-year-old has opened up about her 2011 fling with Harry, then 17, in her new tell-all autobiography.

X Factor host Caroline says it was all just "a laugh" at first, but their romance ended soon after the tabloids got wind of what was going on.

"We were both single, we got on well and we had a laugh," she writes.

"It was only when it become public knowledge that things turned sour.

"At the beginning it was all very playful. He joked about being attracted to older women."

Despite the 15-year age gap between herself and Harry, who was a minor at the time, Caroline says she never felt "much older" than him.

"I still feel 18 and I probably act that way half the time," she adds.

For the first few weeks the pair kept their fling under wraps, but after pictures of Harry leaving Caroline's house went public, the game was up. And for Caroline, it spelled the beginning of a difficult time.

"It began to go wrong when he was pictured coming out of my house one morning," she admits.

"And that was that. In the street people started shouting 'paedophile' at me in the street and 'pervert'."

However it wasn't all bad news, as Caroline confesses she turned down a €1.35m deal… to be the face of a cougar website. Hmmm…
