No matter how many followers you might amass or how many likes you might get, we all know we're only one false move away from having it ripped out of us by a sarky sibling on Instagram.

Whether it's slagging our tribute to the best coffee in Ireland, mocking our 'doors of Dublin' collage or calling us out on our questionable poses, Instagram and siblings rarely mix… as Made in Chelsea's Louise Thompson was reminded yesterday.

Only mad to take the p*ss out of his sister, Sam Thompson decided to recreate one of her looks, and Instagram can't get enough.

Sharing a split screen of himself and his sibling rocking the same emsemble, Sam wrote: "After the past months barrage of @louise.thompson instagrams…I think it's time I took some serious piss!"

"So here we go! Gliding into 2017 wearing our Lacey #axparis dresses," he added.

The post, which has clocked up almost 40,000 likes in less than 24 hours, won't have done much for Louise's rep, with users only dying to see more of Sam's splitscreen shots.

"Hahahahaha that's brilliant," wrote one while another added: "Haha haha oh my days! This is brilliant!"

Alerting Instagram to Sam's carry-on on Snapchat, one social media user wrote: "He's so funny. lol u should see his Snapchat he's always slagging Louise." (sic)

Soz Louise, but LOL.

When it comes to magazine covers, it doesn't get much bigger than Vogue, so we are seriously pumped for Irish actress, Ruth Negga, who is gracing the cover of the American edition this January.

Ruth, whose credits include Breakfast on Pluto, Love/Hate and Misfits, has seen her career go from strength to strength over the course of the past decade, and now looks set to take home an Oscar for her role in Loving.

Chatting with the iconic publication, the 35-year-old actress proves she's as down-to-earth as you might expect, calling herself 'a rag of a woman' after realising her nail polish was chipped and her bronzer unblended.

The actress, who has been in a relationship with fellow actor Dominic Cooper for seven years, also acknowledged the longevity of their union, laughing: "What's that in… actor years? Forty-nine million!”

Social media users have wasted no time celebrating Ruth's appearance on the cover after the publication shared a preview of her shoot on Instagram.

"Thank you for the diversity," wrote one while another remarked: "Love seeing this Irish girl do so well, she's fabulous."

"This is everything," said another while a fellow follower added: "I absolutely love this woman. Great interiew."

G'wan, Ruth!

They may have traded a kiss during their time on Beauty School Dropouts, but it seems there's no love lost between Jeremy McConnell and Scarlett Moffatt if the Dubliner's recent comments are anything to go by.

Making his feelings for the Gogglebox star clear while speaking to Heatworld, he admitted that he doesn't share the same love for Scarlett as the rest of us.

"I hate her. I just think she's manipulative," said the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant. "I don't think she's a genuine person."

While Scarlett has been lauded by I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here viewers for her down-to-earth attitude, it sounds like Jeremy was having none of it.

"I think she knows how to play certain situations," he argued. "If you were there for six weeks in the jungle, you'd be found out. But luckily she's playing a very clever game."

Despite Jeremy's critique of her performance in the Aussie jungle, Scarlett went on to be crowned winner – something Jeremy said he couldn't 'give a sh*t' about.

Jeez Jeremy, how dya really feel?

Let's be honest – one of the biggest moments in X Factor history was the duet between Beyoncé and Alexandra Burke back in 2008.

Between Bey's vocals and Alexandra's hilarious bawl-face, it was definitely a moment to remember…. but for all the wrong reasons for the lads from JLS.

According to a recent interview, the act, which went head to head against Alexandra before she was ultimately crowed the winner, were furious that their fellow contetant was paired with an international superstar in the finale.

Reflecting on the atmosphere backstage at the time, Aston Merrygold said: "I was baffled. I was so baffled. At the time, I was 19 and I was absolutely fuming – behind closed doors I was fuming. Like, Beyoncé – are you kidding?!"

Speaking on BUILD Series LDN, he continued: "I was fuming. Listen, Westlife were amazing at the time and we had one of the biggest songs ever, but we were like, ‘How’s she got Beyoncé?"

“No disrespect to Westlife at all, but we were like, ‘Why didn’t we get Beyoncé?’" he admitted.

Why aren't we surprised?!

Rapper Nicki Minaj has come under fire from a mental health organisation after she made the decision to upload footage of an exchange which took place between herself and a woman she encountered in Miami Beach, Florida.

The video, which was filmed from a car earlier this week, shows Nicki appearing to mock an agitated woman who asked to be left alone while standing outside by herself.

Calling after the woman who was making her way down the street, Nicki asked: "What’d you say? Miss! Come here! What did I do? Miss, you look nice, can we talk? Miss! Come here!"

And while there has been no confirmation that the older woman was suffering from a mental illness, the National Alliance on Mental Illness made the decision to comment on the video after social media backlash.

"Mental illness is no laughing matter, but unfortunately attitudes like the one Nicki Minaj shows in the Instagram video are a consequence of the stigma and ignorance that mentally ill patients endure," read the official statement.

"One in 5 people in the United States will suffer from a mental illness at least once in their lifetime. That means anyone can be affected by it, even celebrities."

Another meme for y'all

"It is sad to see a big star like Nicki Minaj using her influence among young people in a negative manner such as this. Nobody would make fun of a cancer patient, and mental illness is an illness like any other."

"Also, Minaj invaded a woman’s privacy, and in so doing dehumanised and objectified her." they added.

And while countless fans of the singer have defended the video, many more have been quick to highlight the insensitive nature of the exchange.

"Ppl don't see the problem are ignorant. She is a role model, she did wrong when she uploaded this to social media for her 70 million followers to humiliate and laugh at." wrote one. (sic)

There's a lot to be said for suspending your cynicism in order to properly immerse yourself in a fantasy TV series, but it sounds like Jonah Hill won't be trying it any time soon.

With Game of Thrones, Westworld and Stranger Things dominating the ratings this year, there's no doubt that fantasy and sci-fi is where the money is right now, but Jonah Hill isn't really buying it.

During a recent interview, the Wolf of Wall Street actor admitted that when it comes to film and television, he needs to know that the storyline had a chance of actually happening for him to commit to it.

Acknowledging that he's drawn to roles in movies based on true stories, he said: "I think life is so interesting on its own that, you know, I'm not against other kinds of stories."

"I don't really watch – like, my friends kind of make fun of me – I don't really watch sci-fi or anything like that. I've never seen Game of Thrones."

Aware he may have ruffled a few million feathers with that admission, Jonah added: "I'm sure it's amazing, but I don't really watch things that couldn't or didn't happen, you know?"

"Humanity is probably the most interesting thing. How people treat each other and how people feel, and that's just for me."

"Like, whether it's good or bad, I'm probably a pretty over-sensitive person," he continued. "And I think I just find it entertaining and interesting to explore why people feel and do certain things."

While die-hard Game of Thrones fans in SHEmazing! HQ are reeling right now, we totally see where he's coming from.

Remember the episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians when Kylie and Kendall were tasked with recruiting potential models, and Kendall was too shy to approach anyone?

Oh, how times have changed.

Now one of the most influential models in the industry, the 21-year-old doesn't bat an eyelid performing the various tasks expected of international models, and even admits that stripping off is her favourite part of the gig.

Chatting to W magazine, Kendall revealed that while she may harbour a fear of taking a tumble on the runway, she relishes the opportunity to showcase her body while walking for the likes of Marc Jacobs.

Reflecting on the Marc Jacobs show, Kendall told the magazine: "I actually surprisingly was not nervous, not extremely nervous. I was more excited. I think I wasn’t nervous because I was wearing flats."

"Like, I got to wear, like, flat shoes so it wasn’t as nerve wracking. I was, like, I can’t fall. There’s no way I can fall."

And while falling was her biggest fear, she acknowledged that most people may have been more concerned about the sheer V-neck she was showcasing.

"And then my tits were out. I don’t know why I wasn’t nervous about that. I was really excited about my tits being out, actually."

"I’m weird. I love my tits being out. It’s like one of my things, I guess," she reasoned.

We'd be the same if we looked like Kenny.

The weekend just gone was, for many people, the last one before payday, so instead of hitting the town, the vast majority of us bunkered down with a bottle or two of (cheap) wine.

Unfortunately for Keisha Buchanan of Sugababes fame, getting her hands on a bottle of vino was far from easy if her Twitter page is anything to go by.

In a move which has us cringing into our sleeves this morning, the singer admitted that after being refused for having no identification, she  – wait for it – pulled out her Wiki page to prove her date of birth.

And, unsurprisingly, Twitter is now having a field day.

Responding to her tweet, fans of the Hole in My Head singer, wrote: "Don't you know who I am?' Lol You should have sang the 'baby baby babyyyyyyyyy' bits from Too Lost in You."

"That's so f*cking scarlet," added another while someone responded: "You do look that young tbh."

After fans of the singer retweeted her post, Keisha felt the need to clarify her desperate move, tweeting: "I'm in charge of drinks for tonight's dinner party!"

"I will not let my girls down lol #DesperateActions lol," she added.

Ah lads, it's like pulling up your Facebook page the next time you're in the offy…

The thought of your other half sharing intimate details of your sex life with his friends is more than most of us could bear, so the idea of it being shared with the nation is hideous beyond measure.

And yet that didn't didn't seem to dawn on I'm a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here star, Wayne Bridge, when he decided to tell all during a recent trip to the Bush Telegraph.

Sounding stunned that many couples experience a revival in their sexcapades after welcoming children, Wayne exclaimed: "I think they’re having us on! How can it be better?"

In a move which mortified wife Frankie of The Saturdays, Wayne continued: "It’s either the same or less. I’m not having it at all. Why would it get better?"

"I think it’s always been up there with me and Frank. You’re together for years so you obviously try everything out before you’ve had babies, surely."

"I can’t believe I’m even having this conversation because her mum and dad are going to be watching," he suddenly added after appearing to remember his comments were being beamed out to millions.

Taking to Twitter to acknowledge her husband's big mouth, Frankie wrote: "Ohhh, just stop talking… I'm begging you."

Taking the opportunity to stir the pot, Frankie's fans egged Wayne on, responding: "Don't be a spoilsport Frankie. Go Wayne. It's good to share."

"I kept refreshing to see your reaction lol!! How funny!" added another.

Ah here, she took it better than we would have.

He may have played one of the toughest characters in television history, but it looks like James Gandolfini's character on The Sopranos beared no relation to his true personality if a recent anecdote is anything to go by.

Reflecting on James' presence on the hugely popular HBO show, former co-star Drea de Matteo, who played Adriana La Cerva, revealed that the actor had once made a significant gesture towards his co-stars.

"When all of us made our deals with HBO, none of the actors were included in the DVD sales for the show," Drea explained as she remembered her time with the late actor.

"And when he found out about that, he was pretty pissed off, and he called each actor into his trailer one by one, and cut everybody a VERY big check for thousands of dollars, in the double numbers."

"And paid each actor a cut of the proceeds he'd gotten from the DVD sales at that time," she added.

"That was completely unnecessary, but Jesus Christ, it was something I'll never forget, there aren't many people who would do that," Drea said.

The anecdote, which has been shared extensively on social media, has been met with delight from fans of the actor who sadly passed away in 2013.

"I was ready to have a miserable day before reading that. That has completely uplifted me, thanks," wrote one.

"I love finding out that famous people I like are genuinely brilliant people in real life," remarked a fan.

"What I love about that story is it is literally the diametric opposite of what Tony Soprano did/would do," added another.

Between James and Tom Hanks, we're struggling here this morning.

If you've spent any time at all wondering how much the Gogglebox gang earn for inviting a camera crew into their home every week, you're not alone.

Like countless other fans, we've spent hours estimating just how much you should be paid to sit on your own couch watching your own TV in the comfort of your own home.

But thankfully, we can all stop guessing now.

According to reports circulating today, the Gogglebox gang earn – wait for it – £1,500 per family per month, and this is in exchange for spending 12 hours (in six hour shifts) every two weeks on the sofa.

Oh, and then there's the free takeaways as well.

Easy money if you can get it.

Most viewers have Scarlett Moffatt pegged as the new Queen of the Jungle, but not everyone has been as complimentary about the 26-year-old Geordie's appearance on I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

While some viewers have begun suggesting ITV is biased towards the Gogglebox star, one anti-bullying charity has even gone as far as to accuse Scarlett of bullying behaviour towards fellow contestant Martin Roberts.

Acutely aware her daughter is unable to defend herself against these accusations, Scarlett's mum, Betty, has decided to weigh in on the controversy and speak on behalf of her child.

Betty, whose relationship with her eldest daughter is well documented on Gogglebox, insist accusations made against her daughter have little grounding in reality.

"Scarlett does daft stuff and lacks common sense but she’s not someone to tear other people down," she insisted.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Betty wholly supported her child, adding: “It’s her choice what she wants to do with her life, but she’s not hurting anybody."

Taking aim at the individuals who have used Twitter as a platform to deride her daughter, Betty slammed: "If calling my daughter thick or stupid or anything else makes you feel better then crack on."

G'wan Betty!
