If there's one thing we love as much as The Late Late Show's Carpool Karaoke segment, it's their Drop the Mic set-up.

Like Celebrities Read Mean Tweets or the Comedy Central Roast, there's something about seeing high-profile people rip it out of one another that appeals to us, and we refuse to apologise for it.

And in much the same way he brings it on the track, Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt seriously delivered when he appeared alongside James Corden this week.

After being dissed by James on everything from his name to the number of medals he's taken home, Usain stepped up and let that lad have it,

And while the battle was tight, Usain was ultimately crowned the winner.

In a gesture which has left most of us slackjawed this morning – updated reports confirm we were right to be slackjawed –  the founder of Corona beer has made a millionaire of each and every resident of his small home town in north west Spain.

Antonino Fernández, who passed away at the age of 98 last August, bequeathed a staggering £169 million to the people of Cerezales del Condado.

And as the tiny villages boasts only 80 residents, that's a cool £2 million each.

Clearly flabbergasted by the businessman's gesture, Maximino Sanchez, the owner of a small bar in Antonino's hometown said: "We never had any money before. I don’t know, what we would have done without Antonino."

Antonino, one of 13 children, moved to Mexico in 1949 at the age of 32 where he worked for Grupo Modelo brewery – and ultimately helped to make Corona one of the most popular beers in the world.

Antonino, we salute you.

After spending months fielding questions over her past relationship with Zayn Malik, it looks like Perrie has thrown the press and public a signal that she has officially moved on.

The Shout Out to My Ex sent the rumour mill into overdrive this week after a source close to the singer revealed that she was growing close to England and Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

"It’s very early days between Perrie and Alex," admitted the insider before acknowledging that there's a definite spark between the pair.

“There’s certainly some chemistry there and they’ve enjoyed spending time together."

It sounds like Perrie's still feeling pretty fragile following the fall-out from her last high-profile relationship, with the source adding: "After what happened with Zayn, Perrie doesn’t want her love life to become public knowledge."

Owing to this, the new couple have made the decision to avoid certain potential pitfalls which may put the brakes on their burgeoning romance.

“Both are keen to keep the relationship on the down low, they don’t follow each other on social media as they know a connection might give the game away."

23-year-old Perrie has been spotted supporting her new boyfriend at the Arsenal stadium in recent weeks.

While his family have rallied around him following his hospitalisation this week, much speculation has been made as to the impact the Kardashians have had on Kanye West's health.

Reflecting on the supposed pitfalls which have befallen men who have married into the family, some social media outlets have suggested that Kanye's decline in health was inevitable after becoming part of the Kardashian family.

And apparently rapper, Akon, is actually with them on this one.

"I actually thought about that, because at first it was a big joke to everybody," he said, according to TMZ.

"But in Africa there have always been sayings that sometimes you can’t deny what you see, but often times the eye may deceive you too." he said.

Acknowledging that the theory that the family are cursed sounds bizarre to many, Akon continued:  "It’s hard to comment on something like that as much as the evidence may show you that that’s possible, you don’t wanna discredit it as it may just be bad luck."

While the Right Now singer was understandably reluctant to say too much on the subject, he did add: " I wouldn't deny it but I wouldn't promote it either. When you think about it, the evidence all points to it."

Kanye abruptly cancelled his tour before being hospitalised at the beginning of the week.

She may be in a very happy relationship right now, but it sounds like Scarlett Moffatt's new-found fame played a role in the demise of a previous relationship if recent remarks made by an ex are anything to go by.

Opening up about the TV star who looks set to take the crown in I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, Ian Billett revealed that the pressures of Scarlett's rising profile resulted in him calling time on their relationship.

The 30-year-old who met Scarlett at a book signing insists that he has nothing but goodwill towards her and simply feared their relationship might put the skids on her burgeoning TV career.

"It sounds like I’m a softie but her career was really starting to take off and she was being invited all over the place, the door was just opening for her," he said.

Reflecting on Scarlett's response to her newfound fame, Ian added: “She is sometimes a bit too eager to please and would never cause offence by asking someone to leave her alone."

And while Scarlett did show concern about the public's perception of her during her time with Ian, her ex insists her conduct in the jungle is "100 per cent genuine,"

According to Ian, Scarlett, who is now in a relationship with Luke Crodden, was taken aback by his decision to call time on their romance.

“She didn’t take too kindly to it at the time. It was my decision and it was the right thing to do for both of us." he insisted.

Look, we're not claiming we'd keep our cool if we met Tom Hanks in person, so we're not judging Harry Styles right now, but we are cringing for him after comedian Kathy Griffin shared an exchange which took place between Tom and Harry back in 2014.

In Kathy Griffin’s Celebrity Run-Ins: My A-Z Index, the popular comedian recalls an awkward moment which played out backstage at an Eagles gig when an intoxicated Harry made a beeline for Tom in an effort to, you know, shoot the breeze and talk movies.

Documenting the moment in eye-watering detail, Kathy may as well have transported us back in time as we watched Harry do what we all would have done in the presence of greatness.

Harry: Re-membah when you wuz savin’ Private Ryan and had to bring ‘im back to ‘is mum? Re-membah?

Tom Hanks politely replies with caution: Yes.

Harry: Re-membah when you wuz in Cappin Phillips? And the other guy sez, ‘Oim’ the capn’ now”? ‘Membah?

Tom, trying go figure this young man out: Yes, yes, I do remember.

Harry: Was that scaarrry?

"Even I wasn’t expecting that question. I turned to Tom: Yeah, Tom, was that scary?" Kathy wrote.

Tom, clearly trying to save Harry Styles from himself (in a way Kendall Jenner never could): Harry, have you met my friend, the comedian Kathy Griffin? (Tom really hit the word comedian hard.)

Harry was unfazed and returned his attention to the great Tom Hanks again …with the questions. It was like he was doing a memory brain teaser.

Harry: Re-membah when you wuz Forrest Gump? ‘Membah? ‘Membah?

Tom, still indulging: I was, yes.

Harry: You wuz always runnin’? Membah?

At this point, Kathy took a break from relating the exchange to chime in and remind her readers: "Yes, he was asking Tom Hanks if Tom remembers playing the role of Forrest Gump, for which he won the Academy Award."

"I can’t point out here enough how Harry Styles seemed to think it was him mission to make sure Tom Hanks did not forget the names of any of his films or the fact that he had starred in these films."

Kathy then returned to the narrative, and we're back cringing into our sleeves as Harry lumbers on with the conversation.

Harry: That was a good film.

Tom: I do remember.

Without explanation, Harry Styles turned and pivoted away. Tom Hanks had been pretty much frozen in the same sport during this magical and epic exchange. Tom’s answer was perfect and delivered very dryly:

Tom: Sometimes, I just want to drive them to rehab myself.

And that, ladies, is what happened when Harry met… Tom.

So, Kylie Jenner has just broken an online record, and she has – wait for it – Christina Aguilera to thank for it.

She may have been only five-years-old when Christina was the height of her fame, but that didn't stop her doing an amazing job channelling her inner Chrissie for Halloween this year.

And lads, it has definitely paid off.

After donning leather chaps, a striped bikini and blonde hair extensions, Kylie transformed into the Ms Aguilera of the Dirrty era, and in turn became the owner of the most watched ever video on Instagram.

Can I be XTINA forever

A video posted by Kylie (@kyliejenner) on

After just three weeks, footage of Kylie dancing to the pop stomper has accumulated a staggering 36.9 million views and nearly 150,000 comments.

And while fans of the youngest Jenner sister wasted no time praising both the costume and the milestone moment, other Instagram users were less impressed.

Forgetting perhaps that she was imitating another star for the purposes of Halloween, one follower wrote: "She copies everyone. No originality. The next one to have a breakdown lol!!!"

Beneath the video where Kylie asked if she could be 'Xtina forever', one responded "No, you can not be Xtina" while another added:" She a hot mess, yo."

Jeez lads, how do you really feel?

Ah lads, if we didn't love her enough already.

Scarlett Moffatt, whose incredible relationships with her parents Mark and Betty on Gogglebox had us questioning our own, has revealed she gave them one serious present after making the big time.

The 26-year-old, who rose to fame simply by chilling on the couch with her mam and dad, has repaid their kindness over the years by paying off their mortgage on the house they live in in Durham.

Revealing all to her fellow I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here campmates, she said: "I paid off the mortgage on my mum and dad’s house for them. Oh it was the best."

"I just wrote them a letter and said, thanks for being mint, and sorry for leaving fake tan all over the house," she said. "Then I put a cheque in for them."

And while most of us would think Scarlett went above and beyond with that one, she says she's still got more in mind for them.

"My aim is to be able to by me mam and dad a caravan. Because they've always wanted one, but they are like £20,000, and I really want to be able to buy them one," Scarlett said.

"And that's the dream, everyone wants to be able to look after their mama and dad, like they did when they were younger."

Scarlett, a favourite with the public, is currently under scrutiny after accusations she bullying fellow campmate Martin Roberts.

When it came to fashion, the early noughties weren't exactly kind to any of us.

From teaming Ugg boots with ra-ra skirts to smothering ourselves in velour, we're all lucky we made it out alive.

And no one appears to know this more than Justin Timberlake who made the very bold decision to address his most iconic fashion disaster while appearing on an Australian talk show recently.

After being asked what he's learned from his time in the music industry, Justin didn't offer any music-related pearls of wisdom, but instead made reference to perhaps one of the most misguided fashion choices of the 21st century – the double denim.

Referring to the moment he and former girlfriend, Britney Spears, rocked a red carpet in matching ensembles, Justin said: "If you wear denim on denim, it will get documented."

It may have taken more than a decade, but it looks like the man himself is finally able to laugh about it…

After coming to the end of a gruelling 10-month world tour, Adele has justifiably given herself props for playing a staggering 107 shows in less than a year.

"I just finished my 107 shows in 10 months. 100% live every night," she wrote on a recent Instagram post."I bloody smashed it, even if I do say so myself."

And yet, just hours after her final show of the year, Adele announced she would be playing another two dates at Wembley Stadium next summer.

Sharing a video on Twitter, Adele directed fans to her website where they could pick up tickets for her June 29 and July 1 gigs – dates which are meant to mark the 'official' end of her world tour.

The London dates which have been labelled 'The Finale' have sent her fans into a tailspin as they grappled with the notion of procuring tickets to see the world-famous singer in her hometown.

"You will have completely toured the world!" wrote one. "U r an amazing woman & how beautiful would it be to see you in your hometown!" (sic)

"How many years have I gotta wait for u? When will I see u Adele? I'll wait for whole of my life to get chance to see u…I swear." (sic)

Tickets for The Finale go on general sale on December 2 at 10am GMT.

And we are hyperventilating.

Since entering the jungle last week, it seemed Scarlett Moffatt of Gogglebox fame has been on course to take this year's I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here crown.

But while a major hit with the vast majority of viewers, Scarlett's conduct at camp hasn't impressed everyone on the outside world.

It appears the current dynamic between Scarlett, Danny Baker and Martin Roberts has come to the attention of a leading anti-bullying charity who feel Scarlett and Danny have targeted the Homes Under the Hammer host.

After ignoring Scarlett's requests to restock the water supply, Martin was reminded by Danny that Scarlett is currently President of the camp and he needs to adhere to her rules.

"Martin, she’s the President mate – whatever she says to do, you do it," Danny told Martin. "You always answer her back like she’s some silly kid and she isn’t.”

The tension appears to have gotten the better of Martin who, at times. was reduced to tears over the disputes.

Commenting on Martin's experience in the jungle, National Bullying Helpline founder Christine Platt said: “It’s a pity there are no phones as we would want to encourage Martin to call us right now."

“All forms of bullying or psychological abuse are abhorrent to us. It seems Scarlett and Danny are colluding and collectively targeting Martin."

“If the bullying has reached the point where the target is showing visible signs of distress, ITV need to intervene as a matter of priority" she added.

Responding to the controversy, ITV said: "The welfare of our celebrities is of utmost importance."

"We constantly monitor and talk to them to check their welfare and have procedures in place to address any unacceptable behaviour.”

Shortly after news broke that Kanye West had been hospitalised yesterday, long-term friend John Legend was quizzed about the rapper's state of mind and wellbeing in recent weeks.

While reluctant to speak out of turn, the All of Me singer did acknowledge that Kanye had endured considerable stress since his wife Kim was the victim of an armed robbery in Paris.

"I think he's been through a lot lately with what happened to Kim," John told ET host Nischelle Turner. "I think he needs to rest."

"I think his fans will be patient and let him rest. He'll come back stronger, hopefully," he added.

Having cancelled his tour prior to being admitted to a hospital in LA, Kanye's mental health was discussed at length today, but it was not a topic which John wanted to engage with.

"I'm not gonna speak out of term and speak for him," the singer stressed. "All I can see is what he said to the public — and that is he's tired and needs some rest."

As it happens, John was with Kim shortly before Kanye was admitted to hospital and admitted that the turn of events was a cause for concern.

“We were with Kim actually, you know, right before all of that,” he said on CBS' This Morning earlier today.

“I was concerned by what I saw, so hopefully he’s getting some rest and some time to figure things out”.

Kanye is currently under observation after police responded to a medical welfare phone call yesterday afternoon.
