Nude shots with strategically-placed items we can get on board with, but nude shots with strategically-placed teddy bears? No, thanks.

And it looks like Instagram is with us on that one.

After uploading a shot of himself covering his modesty with a soft toy last week, Made in Chelsea's Jamie Laing didn't quite get the response he was expecting.

Teddy Bears Picnic

In response to the image which Jamie captioned 'Teddy Bears Picnic', fans found themselves a little baffled, and wasted no time telling Jamie as much.

"Ew, ew, ew," wrote one while another slammed a friend for drawing her attention to the snap, writing: "Oh god why did you have to tag me in this?"

And his girlfriend, Frankie Gaff, who recently joined the MIC line-up. didn't fare much better when she shared another last night.

A week on from the initial negative response, it looks like Frankie thought she might have a little better luck, but no dice this time around either.

"Not sexy at all!" commented one Instagram user while another ignored Jamie's creepy teddy and asked Frankie: "Is he still cheating on your arse?"

Whether it's Jamie's dazed expression, his perma-tan or the disturbing use of a teddy bear, people just aren't feeling it.

Guys, it may be time to admit defeat with this selection of snaps.

Die-hard X Factor fans were left stunned when Louis Walsh was dropped from the judging panel, but it seems no one was as put out by the show's new set-up than the Mayo-native himself.

According to Simon Cowell, the Irish music mogul took serious issue with the show during his absence, and didn't hold back when telling Simon exactly what he thought.

Setting the scene for the public, Simon explained that once the clock would strike 2am, he knew he'd be in for a world of earache.

"But honest to god, it was a weekly call," Simon admitted. "It would start about two in the morning and I'd be like, 'Oh God, it's Louis again'. I'd put it on speaker, lie down and listen."

"What was so funny was that he used to phone me every week," Simon recently revealed.

"I'd get an hour where he would scream down the phone and I'd be like, 'Well, stop watching. I can't help it, it's not my fault if you don't like it anymore."

And unlike most of us who might delete the Mayo man from our palm pilot, Simon got a kick out of Louis' reaction and can't wait to have him back on the show.

"He was passionate, he missed the old show and I liked seeing that side of Louis," Simon explained.

"Sometimes he can get a little bit passive, but this was the Louis I have always known as a manager, he's got a big mouth, he's outspoken and critical, but that's what I love about him," he added.

We wonder how long it will be before he utters the classic "But Westlife, Simon" remark on this year's show.

If you're the kind of woman who can happily hop up on the bathroom scales fully-clothed after a big dinner, then we take our hat off to you.

As gals who feel the need to get butt-naked before even glancing at our scales, your attitude is the type we aspire towards.

But until then, we'll seek comfort in the fact Chrissy Teigen employs the same kind of batsh*t crazy logic many of us do when it comes to that godforsaken sad step.

Taking to Twitter last night, everyone's favourite model offered some practical advice to anyone currently fighting the battle of the bulge, and it's definitely worth considering after a weekend of beer and burritos.

"Just a PSA that if u weigh yourself and take a pic of the scale number you gotta subtract 14 lbs of phone weight that's what I tell myself," she wrote in a post which has been liked more than 20,000 times so far.

Adding to the dialogue, fans of the star suggested her phone may not be as heavy as theirs, with one writing: "Your phone is really light. Mine weighs 20lbs."

"I'm going to need to hold like 4 phones," wrote one while another added: "An extra pound for the phone case too!"

"Don't forget to subtract 3 lbs for your hair and 10 lbs for your brain," reminded another of the model's online followers.

And then there's the weight of your emotions…

We'd play Beyoncé all day every day if we could.

From her Bootylicious back catalogue to her current chart-toppers, there's always time for a visit from the queen.

Unless you're Mariah Carey, that is.

According to reports emerging Stateside, Mariah had a mini meltdown when her fiancé, James Packer, decided to use a little Bey to create a romantic atmosphere in their home.

The Fix claims that James was left red-faced whe he realised his fiancée had no intention of being seduced to the sounds of a rival artist.

"Mariah threw the computer that was playing it via speakers out the window," a source told the website this week.

And her 1980s rockstar strop didn't stop there, as The Fix continues: "Seriously, she just trashed it. She ran out of the room screaming."

Mariah's meltdown, unsurprisingly, brought the evening to an end, with the source adding: "So the night was obviously finished for James, and they retreated to separate parts of the house. And she had a few glasses of wine to cool down."

As you would.

We could have sworn that Geordie Shore's Gary Beadle had already been inked at some stage, but it turns out we – and thousands others – were wrong.

Unlike his co-star Aaron Chalmers, Gary was totally tat-free… until now, that is.

Taking to Twitter to share the moment with his fans, the reality TV star gave an insight into his pre-tat process before eventually unveiling the finished creation to millions.

Eager to find out how large the tat was likely to be, one of Gary's followers asked: "You not getting the tiniest tattoo are ya?! Hope you doing it proper for your first."

Reassuring her that his 'go big or go home' attitude extended to the tattoo parlour, Gary insisted: "No, believe me, I've gone for it."

And he wasn't lying.

After three hours in the chair, the 28-year-old Geordie shared a snap of the inking, and it's not at all what we expected.

Explaining that it's a tribute to his mother, Gaz wrote: "Ok so today this happened. Thank you @Mattwebbtattoo mams favourite flower, some amazing colour, hand piece!"

But, unfortunately for Gary, not everyone was impressed by the inking, with one remarking: "Jesus, why wouldn't you go where @AaronCGShore goes that's not great at all!"

Leaping to his co-star's defence, Aaron replied to the comment, "Are you mad? That's a f*cking sick tat."

Gary's followers were having none of Aaron though, with another Twitter user adding: "It looks terrible m8. On ur hand no coverin it, and a flower wat man likes flowers on their hand lol."

Jeez guys, how do you really feel?!

Twitter is awash with tributes today following the news that music mogul, Lou Pearlman, has passed away.

Lou, who died while serving time at the Federal Correctional Institution of Texarkana, Texas, is responsible for some of the biggest music acts of the 90s and noughties, and has this week been remembered for his contribution to the world of pop music.

From Backstreet Boys and NSYNC to O-Town and Britney Spears, some of the biggest names in the music industry have Lou to thank for their ascension to super stardom, with many taking to Twitter to pay tribute to the New Yorker.

"I hope he found some peace," wrote Justin Timberlake yesterday. "God bless and RIP, Lou Pearlman."

Referring to Lou's conviction and subsequent imprisonment for multi-million dollar fraud, Lance Bass wrote: "Word is that #LouPearlman has passed away."

"He might not have been a stand up businessman, but I wouldn't be doing what I love today w/out his influence," he finished.

Acknowledging the profound effect Lou had had on his life, Backstreet Boy's AJ wrote: "Many emotions at the news of Lou's passing."

"Without Lou I wouldn't have met my four brothers or had the opportunity of a lifetime. RIP,"  he added.

The cause of Lou's death has not yet been revealed to the public.

Romances which blossom on the set of reality television programmes don't tend to have the best track record.

From Geordie Shore to TOWIE, when it comes to matters of the heart, reality stars don't seem to have the best luck.

However, it sounds like Lewis Bloor is determined to sidestep that curse by making a go of things with Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson whom he met on Celebrity Big Brother this summer.

Appearing on Loose Women today, the reality star was, unsurprisingly, grilled about his new romance, and it sounds like it may just be the real thing.

"This is a new feeling for me and I feel a bit shy talking about it," he admitted. "I understand how people will look at it, it is very crazy but yeah she is great and I can't wait to see her."

"I do have a five-year plan and I'd love to be with Marnie at the end of it," he told the audience. "If I am with Marnie in five years time, I will be surprised if she doesn’t have a ring on her finger."

Determined for viewers to realise the depth of their relationship, Lewis reminded the public that they were inseparable while living in the house together.

"Being without Marnie is odd, even though you only saw a little bit, I figured it out we spent over 550 hours together in 23 days. It's the world's longest first date!"

Confirming that they are an official couple, Lewis dismissed the notion that their relationship might be moving too fast, saying: "I feel like in life someone who you’ve known for five weeks might have better intentions than someone you have known for five years."

"Time is a relative thing," he insisted. "We spent every waking minute together. If you don't know you've got feelings for someone in that time then you probably don't."

Does this mean we might one day see a Geordie/ TOWIE wedding?! What a time to be alive.

Anyone with even a passing knowledge of Geordie Shore will know that Gary and Charlotte's on again / off again relationship did much to raise the ratings of the MTV reality show.

As a result, it's no surprise that many thought Charlotte might have had a hand in Gary's decision to call time on his two-year relationship with Lillie Lexie Gregg whom he met while filming Ex on the Beach.

But, according to Lillie, Charlotte had nothing to do with Gary's choice to end their romance.

Speaking to the Mirror Online, Lillie admitted that her boyfriend's commitment to the reality TV show was the reason they decided to part ways.

"Charlotte has nothing to do with it. Basically, he [Gary] was put in a situation where he was given the option to choose between me and Geordie Shore."

Reflecting on the ultimatum which was issued to her ex, Lillie explained: "He was told he would have to leave the show that day if he picked me. It was a daunting decision for him because that’s his bread and butter."

Sounding remarkably understanding, Lillie, who has recently been publicly humiliated by boyfriend Stephen Bear, acknowledged: "The show is all he’s ever known."

"It was the hardest decision of his life but ultimately he picked Geordie Shore," she said.

Between Gary and Bear, Lillie's definitely due some good fortune in the love department.

They may have been soul sisters on Sex and the City, but as far as the public is concerned Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall's friendship was reserved solely for the set of the HBO show.

Rumours have been swirling for years that the two actresses failed to see eye to eye while filming the groundbreaking television series and its two subsequent films, but it looks like everyone fell victim to the rumour mill.

In a move which confirmed that SJP has nothing but love for her co-star, the actress shared a photo of Kim before writing a heartfelt tribute to the actress on her 60th birthday.

"Happy birthday you beauty @kimcattrall," she wrote alongside a throwback snap yesterday.

"Sending love and the very best for a perfectly marvelous, joyous, healthy and adventure filled birthday year," she added.

Finishing the post which has clocked up almost 80,000 likes, Sarah signed off: "Your ol' pal, fellow mischief maker and "sister", Sj"

"This gave me feels," wrote one Instagram user while another added: "That's so sweet. I miss you 4 guys being together."

Sex and the City 3, anyone?

When it comes to our barnets, we're a fairly precious bunch.

An inch too short and there's all-out war, but then we never were, and never will be, as chill as Millie Bobby Brown.

The 12-year-old actress, who captured the imagination of millions in her role as Eleven in Stranger Things, made the whole head-shaving process look like a walk in the park.

Taking to Instagram last night, the British-born actress, who has a massive fan in Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul, uploaded footage of the moment she ditched her tumbling curls for Eleven's iconic style.

To the tune of Beyoncé's Pretty Hurts, the child star went from Millie to Eleven in the blink of an eye, and Instagram is all over it.

Great British Bake Off is our ultimate comfort viewing, and we love nothing more than re-run sessions when we're gripped by Sunday Night Fear.

And it sounds like Snoop Dogg is on the very same page as the rest of the viewing public.

While we wouldn't generally associate teacups and elaborate bakes with the Drop It Like It's Hot rapper, it seems we have a lot to learn about good ol' Snoop.

Speaking to the Star on Sunday, the 44-year-old revealed that he's a massive GBBO fan, and even went on to insist that the British show was one 'one of the best' on TV.

Offering his two cents into the dynamic which exists between Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry, Snoop gushed: "The guy is cool but it’s all about my home girl Mary. You know she is the boss."

While fan-girling all over the most wholesome show on the box, it seems Snoop suddenly realised his street cred was at risk, and did his best to rein himself back in.

"You know, I've been known to do a little baking in my time," he admitted before adding: "I guess you could say my speciality was brownies – just maybe not the kind Mary Berry is used to."

Oh Snoop, you're too slick for us.

It's no secret that Saira Khan and Marnie Simpson didn't exactly see eye to eye while on Celebrity Big Brother, but it doesn't look like Saira is content to leave the ill will in the house if a recent interview is anything to go by.

Appearing on The Wright Stuff, Saira, in no uncertain terms, compared Geordie Shore's Marnie to a prostitute who was fulfilling her fee by having sex on camera.

Recalling her first meeting with 24-year-old Marnie, Saira revealed: "The first thing this young lady said to me was 'Who are you going to have sex with in the house?'

While the audience gave bursts of stunned laughter, Saira questioned Marnie's attitude, saying: "Not 'Who do you fancy?' That conversation normally happens in our country on a corner with a red light… for the red light district."

Admitting that she was stunned by the reality star's intentions, Saira continued: "For me, this young lady had taken the red light, crossed the boundary into TV."

"The red light was the camera and she had got a fee, and she came with the intent of having sex. For me, that is what you call prostitution."

Defending her position, Saira admitted that this Geordie Shore-like approach is not something she understands.

"For me, for mainstream TV to have that content, call me prudish, I don't agree with it. I think it's a generational thing, I don't get it," she said.

We wonder what Marnie will make of those remarks when she gets out.
